Cozy, sparkling clean 3 bedroom 1 bath manufactured home on Caney Lake. Includes use of a boat slip with electricity and concrete boat launch. The home is a manufactured house that is situated on the property behind the main house with partial lake views from the screened porch. Located 5 minutes by water from Jimmy Davis State Park which has a large public swim area/beach, picnic areas and more. 10 minutes by water from Hooks Marina and Caney landing store/restaurant. Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets, water sports and great fishing while relaxing at this cozy country getaway.

Caney Lake

It was an excellent and enjoyable place to stay. Looking forward to trying the fishing out in the spring.

Great getaway, great location on lake

Nice new covered dock, boat slip, ramp were right on the property just past the owners residence. Tucked back in a cove off one of the arms of the lake. Comfortable, clean quarters and plenty of amenities. Felt right at home. We fished for 3 days and caught quite a few fish including a 5.0 and 5.4lb bass.

Great time on the lake

We had a great time at the lake and your home was great for us. Its really hard for us to rate the home because we spent so much time on the beautiful lake. I can tell you that the refrigerator and freezer work great and oh the AC was on point! We took our boat and having the covered slip with power available was great and allowed us to maximizeour time out on the lake! The wonderful hosts are close if you need them, engaging when you see them but not intrusive in any way.

A very peaceful week

Despite the rain all week, it was such a lovely stay. The house was dry and comfortable. The beds were amazingly soft! The view of the lake from the house was very partial, as the website says. But, once you get to the dock, it is beautiful. My husband loved having a boat dock for his boat. He went out fishing anytime he felt like it. The dock is covered with furniture. I did a lot of reading and just watching the rain. Our sons enjoyed the place too. We would love to come back again sometimes.

Awesome

Gail and Bobby were awesome host. The property was very clean inside and out. We were able to launch the boat on property and kept it in the stall which was covered and out of the wind. Dock is very well maintained and great for sunsets. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Fish Trip

Great location on the lake! The covered boat slip is really nice. Nice short run to electric power for charging batteries. The boat ramp made for an easy launch. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. I would come back again. John M.

Fishing trip

Great central location on the lake with the added convenience of a covered boat slip and private ramp. Host was great. Made sure we had everything we needed but was not intrusive.

Bass hunt

Easy peezy for bass fisherman. Launch on site. Disconnect and park trailer on property for use of your vehicle. Boat stays in covered in-water slip with electricity to charge batteries. Housing was sufficient. Good pressure hot water and great a/c!! Kitchen well stocked. Screened porch made for midday napping Definite to rebook

Lovely Place

This is probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed at in quite some time. The beds were also some of the most comfortable. Both queen beds were soft but not too soft. I can't speak for the bunk beds but there were no complaints. The owners were nearby and willing to assist with any issues. Having a private boat ramp helped out tremendously. Especially since the weather was not ideal majority of our stay. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Almost heaven is correct

Really nice place for a fishing trip or outing with the family. Property has wonderful dock with fish cleaning station, power and two slips. Will stay here again

Fishing vacay!

We had a great stay! Cabin AC works like a champ. Place was comfortable, clean and well-kept. Spacious dock with covered slip and electric outlets. Close to Hooks Marina snd Chatham. Would definitely stay here again.
