At the heart of Cancale but away from the crowd, in a garden and fenced, you will discover a beautiful haven backed a beautiful house of character. In a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, you will choose to explore all the strengths of our coast, and there are many, or enjoy quiet moments in the shade of a cherry tree as a parasol. We are located 2 minutes walk from the beach and coastal path that will lead you to a side port of Houle (15 mn) and the other to the tip of the Groin and even Saint Malo, if you like big and beautiful walks. The village, restaurants, bars, shops and cinema are 3 minutes away from the house. We will be happy to welcome you and advise you, if you wish, so you make the most of our beautiful region.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Could do with a large sun umbrella for the garden table. For the price charged maybe a tv could be included.

Fabulous

Our terrific hosts Kathy & Husband made us very welcome to this beautiful and stylish Gite with lovley gardens and all of the facilities required all in a great location. If we return to Cancal again we hope we are able to stay here once again.

A lovely garden setting in cancale

We spent two great days. We walked down to the port for oysters and lunch. We drove to Pointe groien for a walk to the point. The accommodations were excellent and our hosts were a delight. The space is so comfortable and well equipped. We sat in the garden in the evening for a glass of bubbly. I would definitely return and recommend

Wonderful Place

We spent marvelous 4 nights in this house. The location is great. You can reach everything by walk. The garden is absolutely in good condition and so is the house itself! Catherine and Henri are very sympathetic, warm hearted and modern hosts with a good mix of distance and helpfulness. They live in the main house and one can ask them everything. The house has modern, tasteful and cosy interior with the elements of a typical French house. It is well equipped and we missed nothing. In the contrary: we spent a very good time and would return in any case. Thank you Catherine and Henri :-)

An Idyllic property...

This is a fantastic rental with wonderful hosts. The rental is a very tasteful fully self-contained addition attached to the owner's large stone house (which Cathy told me dates from the 1850's). There is a beautiful yard and garden all enclosed within stone fences. The place is very up-to-date and spotlessly clean. As a couple with two kids, there was plenty of room with a master bedroom and second bedroom with two single beds. It is a 4-5 minute walk to the town square with Carrefour grocery store, bakeries, cafes, and shops. The Cancale port is about a 1 KM walk down a path along the water or down one of the main streets. The quiet beach we went to is Plage de la saussaye, which is a 7 or 8 minute drive. St. Malo is less than 30 minutes away by car and Mt. St. Michel about 45 minutes along the coast. Cathy and her husband are very warm and accommodating hosts. We arrived later than expected on a Friday night and were warmly welcomed and they provided all sorts of information about the area. Our only regret is that we stayed for only 3 nights; we hope to return in a couple of years to stay again. (Merci Cathy!!!!)

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Catherine.Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et ont tout proposé pour que notre week-end avec nos deux filles (3 ans et 3 mois ) se passe idéalement. La maison est très bien décorée et le jardin magnifique.Je recommande sincèrement

Eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, in der wir je waren!! Liebevoll eingerichtet, traumhafter Garten, herzliche Gastgeber. Die Lage ist unschlagbar, ganz nah am Strand und am Markt. Die Wohnung hat genau den Charme, den man sich für eine Reise in die Bretagne wünscht. Besser geht's nicht.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche bei Catherine verbracht, sie ist eine perfekte und sehr charmante Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns wertvolle Tipps zu Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegeben und war für alle unsere Fragen da. Die Wohnung ist perfekt, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, was man brauchen könnte ist vorhanden, alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Zur Wohnung gehört ein traumhafter Sitzplatz unter dem Kirschbaum im Garten, von Blumen umgeben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt - vielen Dank an Catherine!

Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als durch die tollen Bilder ersichtlich. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst zuvorkommend und das Objekt ist überaus geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in makellosem Zustand, sowie sehr sauber. Bezüglich Parken, Einkaufen, Restaurants, Nähe zum Meer, etc. ist das Objekt sehr günstig gelegen. Wir bedanken uns ausdrücklich bei Catherine für die wunderbare Zeit die wir dort hatten.

Wohlfühl Oase

Tolle Gastgeberin, wunderschönes Haus mit Allem was man benötigt! Fantastischer Garten! Ruhige Gegend! Zum Ortskern ca. 5 Min zum Laufen! Bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit einem Prosecco und Tomaten aus dem eigenen Garten verwöhnt! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Eine kleine Oase am Meer

Wir waren vor drei Jahren schon einmal in den geschlossenen Rimains und hatten immer den Wunsch, an diesen wunderschönen Ort wiederkommen zu dürfen. Das Haus von Catherine und Henry ist sehr liebevoll und mit vielen schönen Details eingerichtet, der Garten eine wirkliche Oase zum Erholen. Catherine kümmert sich sehr, wenn man etwas braucht und macht alles möglich, selbst einen Arzttermin für uns (was in Frankreich für Urlauber nicht einfach ist!).Alles wichtige ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Morgens auf dem Weg zum Bäcker kurz am Meer vorbeigehen und schauen, wo das Wasser ist; sonntags nebenan auf den Markt gehen und sich das Frühstück holen; an den Hafen laufen und auf der Treppe Austern essen; mit dem Rad oder Auto an die schönsten Strände fahren...Schöner kann Urlaub nicht sein! Vielen lieben Dank, dass wir Gast sein durften!

Wundervoll!!

Wir haben zwei perfekte Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist ein Traum, wunderschön und absolut ruhig. Das Ortszentrum (Bäcker, Metzger, Apotheke, Carrefour) ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso wie ein kleiner Steinstrand, der sich zum Schwimmen eignet. An den Hafen, Austernmarkt und Sandstrand kann man ebenso gut laufen. Einfach perfekt!

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr freundlich empfangen. Sie zeigten und erklärten uns das Haus ausführlich und boten ihre Unterstützung bei Fragen an, was wir auch gern in Anspruch nahmen. Da wir zur Himbeerzeit da waren, verwöhnten sie uns damit sehr. In dem sehr gepflegten und zum Wohlfühlen eingerichteten Haus fehlte es an nichts. Der wunderschöne Garten vervollständigte für uns diesen Eindruck. Sehr angenehm war auch, dass Cancale mit seinen guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar war. Das Gleiche gilt auch für die Küste und den Hafen. Gerne noch einmal!
