Location, location, location!

Apartment is situated in a prime Bordeaux neighborhood- away from heavily touristed area but convenient to reach all places of interest. We loved quick walk to Chartrons, and Jardin Publique is right across the street. Elevator was great when checking in with luggage. The host was very pleasant and worked with us when our arrival flight was delayed. Yes, some updates would be good, but we were very happy with our stay.

A Comfortable Stay in Bordeaux

We had a very pleasant stay in the Bordeaux apartment for a week. The building is next to the lovely public park, close to the city's great public transportation, and has an elevator, which is a luxury. We would definitely stay there again.

Great apartment in excellent location

The size and location of the apartment is excellent and cannot be faulted. The Jardin Public is just across the road and there are many cafes/restaurants within 5-10min walk.There is aircon in both the bedrooms which works well but is very noisy and couldn’t be left on whilst sleeping due to this. The check in process involves being met by the host as I don’t think there is an option for a key safe/key to be left anywhere. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic Experince

This flat was spacious and comfortable for our four person group. The area is quiet while still being within a few blocks of any amenity we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location

This is the perfect location for people who love close walkable access to the city, but the quiet for resting and sleeping. The apartment is modestly equipped. The kitchen could use a new countertop, (water damaged and cracked) we didn’t cook at all so it didn’t bother us. The hand held shower has limited pressure volume, so prepare for extra time if you have to rinse hair, mine took twice as long. There is plenty of storage space in the bathroom which is a bonus.

Recommendation-"Stay Here!"

I spent 6 weeks here. 1st reaction was “this apt could use some updating”, BUT I grew to love its advantages:LOCATION!!! Two tram stops:(Jardin Publique) 5 min away;(Paul Dommer) 8 min. Using the tram? Stay here.Apt is a 1min walk to Jardin Publique. Want to stroll a well-tended park, with wide bike paths/footpaths, picnic areas, a cafe, & 2 children play areas? Stay here.Location (Quinconnes & the Chartons) in near lovely cafes, markets, boulangeries or patisseries.Apt is large but sparsely decorated; you do not stay on top of someone’s “stuff” & can spread out.There are dishes, cooking utensils (teflon is very worn; I bought a frying pan)& a dishwasher. (kitchen faucet needs replacing). Want to make meals?Stay here.Appliances include a large refrigerator (Picard nearby), micro, oven/stove, & washer/dryer. (you will use drying rack!). Beds are large/comfortable (queen, full, sofa converts to queen); 2 bedrooms are private. The bedding is a bit worn, but clean. Want a good sleep? Stay here. Elevator!! It is small, but a luxury. Don’t want to do steps after walking? Stay here.Apt is bright with both morning sun & afternoon sun .Most important, apt is quiet & SAFE! Digital key entry double-bolted door lock. La Rue D’Aviau has traffic but no commercial enterprises that create noise. Want to sleep secure? Stay here.As for my 1st impression? Updating floors would make a good 1st impression, but after a few days, I didn’t care.My recommendation? STAY HERE!

El apartamento está en una buena ubicación, sobretodo si vas con tu coche, ya que por la noche tienes sitio para aparcar. En general la vivienda está bastante bien, aunque habría que mejorar algunos detalles para darle un 5*.

Bel appartement, fonctionnel, très bien situé. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas eu d’air climatisé fonctionnel durant la canicule et pour le reste de la semaine. L’air climatisé est dans les chambres seulement. Souhaitons une réparation avant la venue des prochains locataires. De plus, tel que mentionné dans la description, il s’agit d’une baignoire et non d’une douche.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Die Haltestelle der Straßenbahn ist nur 200 Meter entfernt. Die Wohnung war für vier erwachsene Personen sehr gut. Es war alles sehr sauber und ruhig. Wir können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen

Très bon emplacement mais nombreuses malfaçons

Cette location est très bien située mais attention les photos ne reflètes pas la réalité ! Beaucoup de malfaçons comme lumière de la hotte qui ne fonctionne pas, lumières de la cuisine qui tiennent avec de l’alu, chasse d’eau sur laquelle il faut insister pour une bonne évacuation, carrelage qui tient avec du scotch dans les wc, porte de la table de nuit qui tombe, prise arrachée du mur….(et je pourrais continuer) Bref ce logement pourrait être très agréable avec des petits travaux d’entretien courants Le prix de cette location n’est pas du tout en adéquation avec l’état général du logement

Super emplacement mais un appartement qui a besoin d'entretien

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Céline qui avait nettoyé parfaitement le logement. L'emplacement est ideal pour visiter la ville. En revanche, un grand nombre de petites dégradations (lampes de chevet déchirées, porte de table de chevet cassée, carreau de carrelage scotché) montre que l'appartement nécessite un petit coup de jeune et de réparation.

Nice Clean Property

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Stephanie was very responsive to our email questions and accommodated our later than expected arrival. The only issue was a broken AC unit in one of the bedroom units that could not be fixed in time for our stay. Stephanie refunded part of our rental cost as compensation with no questions asked. Overall the property is well located to Jardin Park and the many restaurants and tourist departure points. Would definitely recommend this property for those looking for a clean reasonably spacious well located property when visiting Bordeaux.

Appartement dans le triangle d`or de Bordeaux

Appartement fonctionnel qui est très bien situé, près du très beau jardin public de la ville. Chambres assez grande mais avec peu de rangement. La cuisine est un peu désuète, le comptoir de travail est petit et en mauvais état, bois fendu. Le salon et la salle à dîner sont juxtaposés l`une à l`autre ce qui rend la circulation plus facile. Les grandes fenêtres permettent un très bon éclairage. Salle de bain correct. Salle de toilette un peu petite. Immeuble propre et tranquille (octobre). Appartement agréable à y vivre.

A disappointment

After arriving in the early evening and getting a quick introduction to the apartment from the property manager’s collègue, my husband rounded the corner in a bedroom and cut his shin deeply on a piece of metal sticking up from the bed. A finial was apparently missing and had neglected to be repaired prior to our arrival leaving a razor sharp edge. I went to close the drapes in the living room and the curtain rod fell off the wall. It was a rough start that was indicative of our overall opinion of the apartment - cheaply furnished, worn, and with minimal comfort. The apartment is spacious, however, both bedrooms have no closet or, that is to say, the closets are locked and you are not able to use them. The tiny closet in the narrow hall is the only place to hang ones garments, and there is barely enough room for one persons clothing. The hangers in this closet were dry cleaner leftovers to boot. The sofa and dining chairs are stained and we opted to cover them prior to sitting down. One of the lights in the living room never turned on, and even if it had worked the room was always too dimly lit. The toilet room has no sink which is typically found in the French toilet only room, so one must walk down the hall to the bathroom to wash up. The kitchen is poorly stocked and the coffee maker did not work. Glasses and dishes are in a cupboard in the dining area due to lack of space in the kitchen. The apartment is in a beautiful neighborhood with excellent access to dining, bakeries, and other shopping. No complaints at all about the street, although often too noisy to leave front windows open and so we were a bit claustrophobic. Stéphanie was quick to take care of the issues that she could, sending a technician to repair the bed and curtain rod, better hangers in hand, but had no other apartment to move us into. We didn’t bother to mention the living room light and coffee maker which were not top of mind while dealing with the other issues.
