Welcome to Telchac Puerto - the quaint village that’s slowly being put-on all-important vacation destinations map as more and more people from all over the world hear about our paradise and want to experience “non-touristy” Mexico firsthand.

Located forty minutes from downtown Merida one can explore historic districts there, modern shopping, cultural events, free outdoor concerts, and fantastic dining.

Yucatan welcomes everyone with open arms. Here people enjoy living at a slower pace of life, embracing family values and accepting diversity.

Our 2 story Villa Tranquilita is located directly on the ocean front, in the best part of Telchac Puerto, among large elegant homes and within walking distance to pier, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy – and yet far enough from the Centro’s nightlife for the guests to enjoy peace and tranquility.

This home boasts a beach house vibe in a Mexican Rivera Maya style, with tropical palapas and tasteful accents of Talavera tiles throughout the house.

It has 2 large bedrooms upstairs, both with balconies and fantastic oceanfront views.

The bedrooms have a king and 2 queen beds respectively. Each has an ensuite bathroom with shower and walk-in closet. Studio room downstairs could be used as a 3rd bedroom . This room has a sectional sofa that opens up to a double bed / . Recently we added portable crib for our quests vacationing with an infant

Private well and US standards pressure systems provide reliable water delivery to all of 3 bathrooms.
You’ll find complete comfort and convenience here with 4 split AC’s, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and cookware, gas-lit stove, new refrigerator/freezer/ice-maker and plenty of pantry shelves behind cabinet doors.

The separate laundry room holds a large capacity washer and dryer.

We offer comfortable couch and chairs in the living room, large dining room table that sit 6+, two flat large / 50" & 65"/screen TVs , private over the phone cable internet with free Netflix and Wi-Fi throughout the house thanks to double routers amplifying the signal.

Three patios are on this villa property, each with their own furniture and hammock hooks.

The back patio provides an unobstructed view of the ocean with multiple chairs to lounge in and soak up the sun.

Watch the sun sink into the horizon while you float in bliss in the newly constructed filtered pool with water features.

The house is perfect both as a quick week-long getaway or a few months of stay.
You’ll never run out of things to do here.
Obvious oceanside attractions like long walks on the sandy shore, collecting exotic shells, occasionally spotting dolphins or you can just create your own siesta time in the hammock and enjoy ocean breeze the Yucatan style … / or we got books if you like to read instead /

Surround yourself with nature in the front garden area. /Perfectly protected from cold high winds during winter /
This patio is secluded by a large lockable gate and contains couches and table as well as a new gas-powered grill to barbecue on ! The third patio is connected to the second bedroom, so everyone can enjoy the ocean view just steps away from their bed.

Like seafood? You will not find more reasonably priced and fresh fish than in Telchac Puerto. Take a drive to the newly built world class Kinuh marina and enjoy the resort restaurant with top-notch fresh food! If seafood isn’t your thing then don’t worry, all restaurants in the area cater to all types of appetites and are within walking distance or a very short drive.
In the surrounding area you can explore older Mayan ruins such as Xcambo or take a day trip to famous Chichen-Itza.

So many things to do, boat trips to the unique freshwater spring in the ocean, pink lagoons with curious flamingos, exploring old haciendas, exploring unique manglares, swimming in refreshing cenotes – all that and more within few miles from Telchac Puerto.

This is the place where we would like to retire to really soon.

In the meantime, our Telchac little paradise is available for rent whenever we can’t be there.
All bed linens, bathroom towels, beach towels are provided.
