Great, coveniently located apartment

My party of four stayed in this adorable apartment in Galway. There was a wonderful little seafood restaurant right downstairs and it was a quick walk (5-10 minutes) to the center of town. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet, cozy apartment that's still close to the action of the city.

Location, location, location!

You couldn't ask for a better location in Galway. Kitchen seems to be well-equipped although we didn't do any cooking during our 2-day stay. (Only thing missing was a corkscrew.) Parking may be difficult to find nearby. Good shower, beds were comfortable, apartment was very clean. Eat at Hooked next door, go to The Crane for live music, grab croissants and coffee at the nearby shops. Would stay here again!

Delightful Apartment in great location

My family of four were delighted with this great little apartment near pubs and restaurants in Galway. It took a minute to find and park, but the owner was there to greet us and provide a parking space right at the door. Our teenage sons could walk to the park at the waterfront, and the pubs. Crane's pub is right around the corner, with excellent Irish music. This was a great location to get the ferry to the Arian Islands as well, where we biked the area and visited the worm hole on the beach. Apartment was clean, and well equipped. Highly recommend.

Great location but description completely false. There was no ensuite bathroom and “additional” bathroom ( the ONLY one) downstairs was tiny with a shower and toilet only. Also there was no running water in the kitchen at all (despite being told it would be fixed the following day) and the same for the bathroom basin. The owner said he was not aware of the description stating it had 2 bathrooms so I don’t know where this problem lies- perhaps with the listing agent. The 2 bathrooms were definitely a reason for booking so very disappointed.

Wonderful, short stay in this cute, small place. Fresh flowers greeted us upon arrival. Very close to everything you want to walk to!

Great stay in Galway!

Very well situated townhouse. It had everything we needed for the two nights we stayed. The only reason it was 4 starts was we were very tired from our long flight and being the it was city center it was a bit noisy. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. Host was very nice and helpful. It was small but really all we needed as we were only there to sleep. Walking distance to everything in town. We had some great Indian food in town.

Great location!

Ollie couldn't have been more helpful!! We loved the location and ease of walking to city center. Sure wish we'd had more time to explore the area!! The apartment worked well for us as a base while in Galway!

Great Spot!!

We loved the place. So cute and cozy and very neat. Had everything we wanted! Especially loved that it was within walking distance to the centre of Galway!! Mary was wonderful too and gave us lots of tips and ideas.

Wonderful, conveniently located apartment

We comfortably fit four adults in this adorable apartment. The upstairs room got a little warm at night, otherwise, everything was great. The place is a 5-10 minute walk from the center of town and is located right next to a lovely seafood restaurant. The owned also came and checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was all right.

Quaint apartment easy walk to old Galway

Don't be fooled by immediate neighborhood if you're using Google maps. The apartment is lovely. The owners are great. Easily sleep two adults and two kids. Well appointed. The old Galway shopping and pubs just blocks away. Great seafood restaurant two doors down. Easy parking on street.

Outstanding location and value

Family of four visiting from the U.S. with two college-aged children on a driving vacation; stayed for 3 nights. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and clean, and lived up to the pictures and descriptions on the web. Considering the multiple night stay with a kitchen, Ollie and Mary charge a very reasonable rate when compared to hotel or B&B alternatives. The apartment is in a quiet area, but it's just a short walk (5-10 min) to all of the pubs and excitement in the central district of Galway City. Street parking close to the apartment was always easy to find. Check out the in-apartment chalk board recommendations for local pubs and dining--spot on. This is a great place to stay for a few nights and provides a perfect starting point for day-trip exploring to places like Connemara and the Aran Islands. Not a better stay for the price on our entire 10 day stay in Ireland!

Location, Location, LOCATION!

My son and I could not have been any happier with this flat. Very clean and well appointed. On site owners Ollie and Mary were the epitome of that Irish hospitality we dream of experiencing, even shared a few pints with them at The Crane Bar which became our "local pub". Only blocks away for all the shops, restaurants and pubs on High Street. Not to mention the short walk to the "Salt Hill Prom" from the Irish hit Galway Girl. We'll be back soon.

Lovely accommodations.

Lovely space,clean, nicely appointed and quiet with the windows closed. Perfect location. Walking distance to all of the sights. All beds (4) are twin beds. No coffee maker so you must like the instant coffee. The induction stove is innovative, but complicated. Galway is a gem.
