The Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort is situated on more than thirty acres overlooking Kahului Bay in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, Amenities on-site include two outdoor swimming pools, a children s pool, exercise facility, and two outdoor hot tubs. The Kona timeshare resort provides events including an Aloha Monday Party with a flower lei greeting, complementary appetizers, live Hawaiian music, and hula dancing. The Wyndham resort also offers a variety of family events including ukulele lessons, Hawaiian storytelling, lauhala bracelet weaving, and Hawaiian angel doll making.

A daily transient and occupancy tax fee will be collected by the resort, $15.01 per day rate subject to change.

Home away from home

Wonderful relaxing tropical setting, island living. Large bedrooms and living area. Outside lanai with lush landscaping, palm trees and view for the starry night sky. Kitchen has everything you need for home cooking or enjoying take out from your favorite island eatery on the lanai. Staff are warm and accommodating of needs. Pool area is clean and Good for kids or adults. Love this place, can’t wait to get back!!

Great Place

We love this place! We own a week here and management wasn’t able to help accommodate us using our own week, so we checked VRBO and they were able to come through for us. Everything worked out great!

Short trip to the dry side

Happy to find this comfortable, clean place to stay with friends. Convenient to all the highlights we were looking for, staff was quick to respond and the property was great with the exception of no smart TVs in our condo, but we made do. Would definitely stay again.

Poor customer service

The property is ok,the problems that had is with the management. We checked in later and we were put in a room that resembled nothing like the pictures. Our view off the patio was the parking lots. Be aware that they will put you in whatever unit they have that is left over, which is the one we got. Especially true if you are not an owner. We asked to speak to a manager and we stopped by a couple of times, left messages and we never received a call back. I would say if you are going on vacation and want a Hawaii experience don't stay here. You could can get a view of the parking lot anywhere, not at all like the pictures in the listing show. Very misleading. I understand that they want to fill units but they didn't have the courtesy or responsibility to at least discuss with you in person. They simply did not respond. There are a ton of places to stay on the island, I would spend time to find a better experience while on vacation.

Great location resort.

Property is in a great location. It is dated & in need of updates. But is very clean. Due to covid we could not use gym & did not have any cleaning so hard to comment. The pool is very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location!!

I loved my stay here at Wyndam resort! The room we had was big and had everything my family needed. I would definitely Book here again. Great staff and beautiful location located in the heart of Kona. I had no issues here and really enjoyed my time. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking to explore Kona!

Nice garden location with shaded lanai.

Easy check-in and out. Pool, spa and grills are close by. Nice walk into town for restaurants.

Great location, attentive owners

Other than a small administrative glitch with Wyndham Resorts, which Donna and Jim quickly fixed, the place was a great landing pad for the beginning of our 2-week trip. Very clean, well provisioned, centrally locates, great kids pool, and complimentary pack n play!
