Mid Century Mod: Close To ALL The Action - Notre Dame, Morris, Memorial, DTSB

This unique mid-century modern home is the perfect South Bend home base with easy walks to Notre Dame, Eddy Street Commons, the Morris Performing Arts Center, Memorial Hospital and fine dining in downtown South Bend.

The house has been remodeled in 2018 with new bamboo hardwoods, carpet, kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as fresh paint throughout. All beds, bedding and linens are new as of spring 2018 as well! A 65" flat screen TV is perfect to watch pregame and post-game coverage.

You’ll find 3 separate bedrooms. The first has a king bed, second two queens and the third has two full beds.

Distance to Notre Dame is less than 1 mile so enjoy an easy walk or short ride to campus.

If you enjoy the outdoors our house is adjacent to the East Bank Trail a 1.7 mile hike and bike trail that connects a tree-lined rail-trail to the north and follows the St Joseph River to the south into downtown South Bend.

Morris Performing Arts Center – 0.8 miles south
Eddy Street Commons – 0.9 miles east

GO ND!!!

We had a great weekend in South Bend-we were close enough to walk to ND but we used Lyft instead. The house was just like the pics and Amber was so thoughtful to leave us some treats!!! Thank you for welcoming us to South Bend!

Great set up near ND

We enjoyed a wonderful football weekend at this split level house. The location is very good as it’s an easy walk to Eddy Street Commons and campus. The house is very clean and has been updated. Beds were very comfortable. The dining and family rooms are generously sized to allow for groups and the backyard is a small but private garden area with a grill. Note that there is a walking trail directly behind the house. Owners were friendly and responsive and stocked groceries for snacking and making breakfast – eggs, milk, juice, bread- which was very handy. We’ve rented in South Bend for years and would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!

Cannot say enough great things about this property, the location, and the owners. Rented this home for a week with my wife and three kids for an event at the Joyce Center. Met the owners upon arrival and THEY HAD BOUGHT SOME GROCERIES FOR US IN THE PANTRY AND REFRIGERATOR AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!! I've rented vacation homes for the last 15 years and have never been treated to stocked groceries. The home has split levels with the den and kitchen on a mid-level next to the upstairs and downstairs rooms. Several parts of the home appeared to be recently updated including the den, den couch, entire kitchen, upstairs bathroom, washer/dryer, and AC unit. It was a 5 minute drive from the home to the Joyce Center parking lot, and was an easy walk to/from the event with my son and our jogging stroller (leaving the rental car behind for my wife and daughters!). Having the stroller was too because my son and I ran the East Bank trail which is right next to the house--we ran up the river about 5 miles!. The property was clean and well taken care of. Owners are friendly and responsive. Would rate this place 6 stars if I could.
