Really gorgeous home (Incredibly, even more gorgeous than the photos! Really spacious and the gardens on either side are beautiful too). Geraldine and Pascal were so helpful and clear in their communication too. Would highly recommend staying here!

This beautiful Maison Bleue is the idéal place to stay and explore Monet’s Giverny and beyond. Very good communication and friendly accueil by the hosts! The house is decorated and designed in a gorgeous way full of artistic and (global)cultural vibes, vibrant color, textile, books, music … its a like a wonderful treat for your soul- we also enjoyed recognizing some pottery and decoration from Sri Lanka ( paradise road), Marrakech, Tunis… being able to spend a few days felt like a true privilège- there are 3 very comfortable and stylish bed/ bathrooms and plenty of living ( and outdoor) space to read, relax, cook… we had a wonderful family reunion and hope to be back one day!

This was a dream come true. This home and location surpassed expectations.

The owner was so lovely and communicative. We had all the information we needed. The property was perfectly located and equipped. The generosity of our host was so kind as it was our honeymoon. We loved everything about our stay. Such a treat to be in such a magical location.

The six of us (three couples) had a great time in ‘la maison blue’. We rented so many houses in France in the past 30 years and this house was the most beautiful and complete house we ever had. Thank you so much for letting us stay in it!! Wouter Koppen

Wonderful stay in beautiful house!

The interior of the house is more beautiful than the photos show. We loved the artistically styled rooms and the beautiful garden; all with a relaxed atmosphere. The house is near the touristic area of Giverney, but in a calm street. It's a lovely walk to the garden of Monet, or to the charming bakery in Rue de Monet. Also near nice walking routes. Town is a bit dull for teens- bring screens :-). Lovely for adults, could not be better. Beautiful!

Beautiful authentic stay

The house is a wonderful, charming old house that has been beautifully finished and has an amazing character. It's full of eclectic and fitting art and is very warm and inviting. Pascal was very nice and helped us through a few challenges like figuring out how to get from Vernon to Giverny. The town is beautiful and very walkable from that location. Fresh croissants and baguettes are within reach daily. We would love to return in the future.

Stunning and Beautiful House

The Blue House is absolutely stunning! The gardens are beautiful and our children spent all the time playing outside or swinging on the hammock. The kitchen is a wonderful place to be as a family, with a large table to enjoy a good meal and to play card games. There is everything you will ever need in the kitchen including an amazing coffee machine and a lovely welcoming bottle of wine on arrival. We loved our stay here, it was idilic. A beautiful retreat that gave us a much needed rest. We can’t recommend a stay here enough!

Amazing house and location

Great home for family or groups of friends. Very well equipped, nothing that wasn’t supplied as listed. Amazing yards back and front, tranquil setting with plenty of seating and tables in both yards. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Location, location, location could not ask for a better location/ village. Pasquale was very helpful and friendly, helped us with taxi booking and also suggested eating places. The Blue House is amazing. Totally recommend staying here. We booked entire house, four females travelling, felt very safe. Large fully equipped kitchen, large lounge, all bedrooms great size, plenty of bedding. Bathrooms were amazing( great bath).

Claude Monet's Blue House

Giverny had been on our travel agenda for many years-- and Claude Monet's Blue House proved an absolutely perfect home base for the realization of this visit. Pascal welcomed us with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table, then provided an orientation to the house and the area that prepared us for the next few days. The house itself is an elegant and very well-equipped beauty with large high-ceilinged rooms--some of which had doors leading out to the garden areas, Even in late October we were able to sit in the "afternoon garden" and enjoy the sun. In this truly magical setting we found it possible to imagine what Giverny must have been like in Monet's day.

Paradise

The house is (literally) charming; beguiling. The sunlight slips from room to room throughout the day - the beautiful lamps, rugs, furniture, wicket, statues et al. It has its own character, it is loved and lived in, and how nice to share a bit of those enigmatic hints of its owners. No sterile B@B this. As a photographer I feasted on the books. And thank you for the lovely bottle of wine which we struggled to equal. And where was Monet? In morning garden and the afternoon garden, the bamboo and the seeds showering from the tree (lime?). Big thank you to Pascal - loverly welcome and help during the stay. We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful French Country Home

What can I say about the home that was the home of Monet's vegetable garden. It was expansive, memorable and everything we could have asked for. Pierre Maraval the owner was so considerate as well as accommodating. He even came all the way from Paris early in the morning to meet us at the house, do to our early overseas flight arrival. What a special place. Our daughter was married in the garden of this home in a civil ceremony performed by our son. What a special memory for us. The walk through kitchen opening onto both garden areas with "French" doors and with the country table in the center was our base of operations for so many great dinners, wine and champagne sharing times amongst family and friends. We can't thank Pierre enough for sharing his home with us. It is truly their country home based on all of the personal items in the home. Now that we are back in Michigan we look back at such a memorable time in Giverny. So walkable to the attractions of Giverny as well as a short 2.2km drive to Vernon for all our shopping needs. Hail to Monoprix market.

Una oportunidad única.

Sitio increíble. Perfecto para alejarse del ruido, pero cerca de cuanto se necesita. Vistas, relax, museos, ... y todo desde una casa perfecta para sentirse en paz con todo y con todos.

Peace & tranquility

Le Maision Bleue, is a beautiful property and perfectly located when visiting Monets Garden. It's a peaceful retreat. My only recommendation would be for the gardens to be made more of, as the gardens were Monets reason for the property, he wanted a garden kitchen,

Pierre went above and beyond to make me welcome. It felt as if I lived in Giverny! Note: if you are traveling by train, have Pierre call you a taxi!
