Enjoy casual walks in the beautifully landscaped gardens of the park or walk the hood and take in the historic mansions of yesteryear. End your day in this well equipped apartment, two large bedrooms with queen size beds and high thread count cotton linens. Two full bathrooms, upper floor bath has a reconditioned original claw foot tub / shower combination. Lower floor includes full contemporary bath, large family room with comfy reclining Lazyboy furniture , and for the active traveler a quaint gym.
Adam's Place is close to trendy Walkerville shops, restaurants, breweries, and the historic Hiram Walker Distillery. Within walking distance you can stroll Erie Street, Windsors Little Italy, which is lined with fabulous award winning restaurants and cafe's. Nearby Ottawa street is home to our Farmers Market.

A little about your hosts! My wife and I grew up in Windsor Essex County and have been married over 30 years. Both graduates of University of Windsor we settled in the area. Our love for historic homes has made the renovation of this property a true labor of love.

This Walkerville home holds great sentimental value and has been enjoyed by our family and friends for many years. As Amherstburg residents, we consider this home our “cottage in the city”. So enjoyable are the morning walks through the historic neighborhood and evenings on the balcony that many suggested sharing the experience as a vacation rental. We hope your experience leaves you with lasting memories.

Walkerville is home to many beautiful historic homes, mature tree lined streets and of course Willistead Manor. This home is centrally located making it a comfortable walk to several restaurants and markets while enjoying the view! In the "hood", our balcony is the envy of the neighborhood. The unit itself retains its historic charm although renovations have made it comfortable and up to date. A private office and gym make it an ideal short term executive rental. Vacationers will be thrilled with ambiance and comfort of the bedrooms, kitchen and dining area.
