Very Good Stay

Very good stay. Enjoy staying here when we’re visiting friends and family in the area. It’s perfect for the two of us. Hosts are very nice—left us homemade biscotti:-)

Comfortable and quiet

My wife was working 2 days in Longview and this property was close and very convenient. Judy and her husband were very helpful and kind. Appreciated the home, especially the cleanliness and condition. Thank you.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

The home is beautiful and extremely clean. The drive up the steep drive is something, but the view is so worth it! I would definitely come back.

Great Place to Stay

This was our second time to stay here and just as before we were very pleased with the accommodations. The weather was cooler the days we were there and I appreciated that our host reached out to us to see if we needed a temp adjustment. It really is a great place for us to stay when we visit family in the area.

Clean with a beautiful view

We had an amazing stay at this property! The place was spotless, providing us with a clean and comfortable environment from the moment we arrived. Beautiful gem

What a beautiful, clean property. We stayed in suite c and had everything we needed. The views from our room were stunning from the large windows. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Washington. Judy was very responsive to text messages and helped answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this property for your next stay. 5 stars ⭐️

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for visiting family who live in the area. Although the weather wasn’t very accommodating for outdoor activities, we still enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding area, and saw a few dear and many varieties of birds, including eagles from the living room window. We hope to stay again this summer.

Beautiful home with incredible views

I've stayed here twice now and absolutely love this place. It has all the comforts of home, is beautifully decorated, and the views are spectacular. Check-in is a breeze and communication with the owner couldn't be any better. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay when visiting family!

Beautiful views!

The house was beautiful, clean, and cozy. We loved sitting in the living room and watching the boats go by on the river. Great location- even though it was outside of town it was only a short drive to restaurants and stores. The driveway up to the house was very steep in spots but the views were worth it and there is a nice area for parking once you got to the top. Will absolutely be back. Thanks!

New and Clean

We got the 2 bedroom rental which is spacious and well appointed with some view of Columbia River. Convenient location to Oregon, Longview, Kalama, and not too far from Mt. St Helen. Love the big kitchen which has everything you need including a variety of sauces, seasonings, coffee snacks, etc. The bathroom also has shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels. The shared laundry room is a plus for longer stay. Cons: There are other rental units so you can hear doors slamming shut. Temperature control unit is controlled by the owner, and A/C was set on high due to 87 degree weather on check-in day. Weather temp dropped to the 60's in the evening and the rental was freezing when we got back in the evening. We were cold through the night. The owner did lower the A/C the next day after we left for a day in Oregon. I still recommend this rental if you want a clean and spacious place to stay.

Kalama Oaks

We really enjoyed our stay at Kalama Oaks. It was exactly as described. It was tastefully decorated and the views were amazing. Judy was a perfect host and the extra snacks were appreciated. We hope to be back soon.

Perfection, just what we needed!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and couldn't be any happier with our stay. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner and body wash of which all, I forgot to bring so I was very happy when I saw this in the bathroom. The place was very clean and cozy. Had the most incredible views and most beautiful sunset and sunrise. The location was perfect and Judy was a great host. We will definitely be back again.

Best place I have EVER stayed!!!

I travel A LOT! Usually 5 months at a time for each place I visit for work. This was by far the best place I have ever stayed! No exaggerating. The property is beautiful and outdoor areas are wonderful to use…anytime. I stayed in 2 of their 3 suites and both were exactly as advertised - Absolutely Wonderful! The price is right. The suites are great. The Property is beautiful. The owners are kind, care about their customers, and respond immediately to any requests/questions. I couldn't have asked for a better lodging experience. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area, you have found the perfect place. Book it...you won't regret it!!!!

What a wonderful house! Very secluded on a high ridge with fantastic views of the river! They had fresh tomatoes, peppers and even grapes growing! Everything was so clean and so beautiful! The owners communicated quickly and answered all our questions! We will stay again for sure!

Washington getaway
