Superb stone farmhouse at the foot of the Luberon with a pool on a huge private land between mountains and river .the south façade is shaded by a pergola covered with wisteria. white horse is the first of the small villages that dot this extraordinary mountains. Discover the Régalon-y grooves, in the shadow of the cliffs of sometimes 30 meters high, and a beautiful forest. You will love this house very warm charm with its large rooms decorated with love. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, the ceilings with exposed beams and wooden floors. Quiet and bright this property is an excellent starting point for excursions to magical destinations in under an hour Ménerbes, Oppède, Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Lacoste, L'isle sur Sorgue, Orange, Carpentras, Avignon, Aix in provence, St Remi and many other things.(linens provided).

More than expected

Really enjoyed our stay. Property was immaculately clean. Home and grounds were much bigger than they appear in pictures. The pool was surprisingly warm. The location is close to many things you may like to see in the area. Our timing was perfect for the lavender fields

Enjoyable five days

Overall a great five days. Pool is excellent, Kitchen and main room worked well. Bedroom and bathrooms we used were solid. Cheval Blanc is within 20 minutes of many towns with great restaurants and wine.

Our stay

The property is great - in a great location and spacious. The pool and pool area are excellent (no cushions make the beds quite uncomfortable after a while). I would say that the WiFi could definitely be improved and it would be nice to arrive with at least some basics available - loo roll, water, dishwasher tablets, a few staples/ condiments. Presumably guests buy them and then they’re removed which seems odd. But overall we really enjoyed our stay - a great base from which to visit what is a gorgeous region

Great Property

This is a super property and it is well managed by the Owner. The rooms are a great size and the house has real character. The kitchen is fully fitted and the living room very comfortable (more than 4 might be a squeeze in here though) The pool is lovely although the garden is still a work in progress. Slightly more generosity with toilet roll, kitchen roll and other basic supplies would have been welcome. The location is great for travel across the southern Luberon but it is quite close to a noisy road. We had a great holiday in this property and would recommend it to others.

Fabulous house on a gorgeous property!

This is a treasure of a house! The house and property are much lovelier than the photos show. It is a clean, well equipped home, with comfortable beds, quality linens, large rooms, very large bathroom with oversized tub and separate shower. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything to prepare great meals. The gas stove is a treat for those who love to cook. The kitchen would benefit from a wooden cutting board (it has a glass one), but everything else is provided. There is a large and comfortable outdoor seating area (with 2 tables, seating 6 and 8). The garden area is enormous, with plenty of space for children to run and play, with a swing set and some outdoor toys available. There are walking paths in the wooded area along the canal, and our children had great adventure walks. There is a pool (not heated) that we only splashed in as we visited in early spring. It is easy to monitor the children playing in the garden, from both the outdoor area and inside the house. Host also lives on the property, and is very discreet, but available if needed. The property is close enough to do day trips in the region, nearby villages and wineries, as well as within an hour’s drive of Le Pont du Garde, Orange, and only 30 minutes from Avignon, and Arles (among Others). We communicated with the host in French. The one small wrinkle we had is some miscommunication about bed linens and towels being included. The host lists on a French site and has a note that linens are not included. This comment was not translated to the VRBO website, but we managed to resolve the issue without problem. We highly recommend this property, especially for families. We were a party of 6: grandparents, parents and kids, and wish we could have stayed longer. It is a gem of a find to spend time as a family, enjoying nature and the gorgeous region. We have stayed at many private home rentals, in several different countries ( and several continents) and this is the best property we have stayed in so far! Highly recommended!

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk. Het huis was zeer hygiënisch in orde en ook het zwembad was zeer netjes. We zouden het iedereen aanraden!

Séjour agréable

Une maison très agréable bien décorée et conviviale. Terrasse et jardin avec piscine super. La terrasse ombragée laisse passer un peu d’air très agréable avec les chaleurs. La location est bien placée pour visiter les alentours. Quelques bémols : - la propriétaire ( très gentille et discrète)) vit dans une annexe mitoyenne au gîte. Le jardin n’ayant pas de haies cela manque donc un peu d’intimité. Nous aurions aimé savoir que la propriétaire était mitoyenne même si elle est discrète et agréable. - nous avons payé 2500€ la semaine mais nous avons dû payer 10€ par matelas pour les transats de la piscine. - et enfin pas vraiment gênant mais le wifi se trouve chez la propriétaire et ne capte donc que dans mes toilettes et 2m2 du salon.

Un bel endroit

Très belle propriété, au calme, belle bâtisse provençale, une tonnelle de glycine magnifique pour manger dehors à l'abri du soleil. Un coin piscine aménagé avec goût. Seul bémol : les lits beaucoup trop petits, plus aux standards actuels. Si c'est pour dormir moins bien qu'à la maison, c'est un peu dommage. Du coup, on a fait chambre à part. Hormis cela, magnifique séjour. Merci Claudie

Belle maison très bien entretenue - quelques bémols

Nous avons séjourné avec nos enfants en bas âge dans cette belle maison spacieuse, très propre, très bien entretenue, un magnifique terrain et une belle piscine clôturée. Bémols : la propriétaire vivant dans une maison adjacente, est présente dans la propriété très souvent, afin d’entretenir le terrain, ce que nous comprenons, malheureusement elle a refusé de nous prévenir de ses venues, passant certains jours plusieurs heures dans le jardin, la piscine, nous ne nous sommes pas toujours sentis chez nous. L’obligation de jouissante paisible du propriétaire n’est donc pas du tout respectée ( arrosage également des fleurs à 6 h du matin sous nos fenêtres). Autres bémols : la literie ainsi qu’une très mauvaise connexion internet la box étant localisée chez la propriétaire et non dans la maison de location. Nous avons malgré tout passé un bon moment, mais tous ces bémols devraient être formulés dans l’annonce, le bailleur devrait également prévenir des jours et horaires de ses venues: non respect de la vie privée, de l’intimité, du droit à la jouissance paisible.

Wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in cheval-blanc. Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum, der Poolbereich sauber und wunderschön. Wichtig zu wissen; die wlan Verbindung entspricht nicht den heutigen Standards, was wir für unseren Teil schon erwarten wenn es in der Beschreibung aufgeführt wird. Einige Geräte konnten sich über Tage nicht einloggen, wenn es dann mal geklappt hat nur in einem Raum und auch da ziemlich langsam. Wir sind eine junge Familie, jeder mit Smartphones, das war uns doch etwas zu wenig. Aber ansonsten war alles super.

Cette bastide très bien rénovée possède tous les atouts pour passer un très bon séjour. Vous pouvez de plus repartir avec de la bonne huile d'olive produite à partir des Oliviers de la propriété.

Excellent Stay

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful property. The description is accurate and the equipment of above average quality. The swimming pool has been in very good condition at our arrival. Although not immediately located at the Côté d'Azur, this is a very recommendable region - not too overcrowded with tourists, but still with many things to do around and nice local wineries. The communication with Claudie was very good, she also immediately acted when the washing machine broke down. The overall atmosphere at this house is unique and inviting you to spend your time there while enjoying the Luberon views.

Charmante Maison familiale

La maison est très confortable et bien pensée pour accueillir toute la famille sans se gêner. Les nombreux espaces de vie (2 espaces ombragées bien aménagés sous la glycine ou un gros platane, la piscine, le grand terrain, la cuisine familiale, le coin salon) permettent de tous se retrouver de manière très conviviale. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment en famille et Claudie, la propriétaire, est charmante.
