Great location for fishing

Right on the water, not a crowded area, for some buddies fishing this worked really well. Host was amazing to work with. I would stay again. Thank you.

Great spot on the water

The cabins are private and spacious. They are from the 1940's and upgrades are in progress which is understandable and added to the quaintness. The grounds were great. Hosts were responsive and proactive. The instructions were complete and self-explanatory. We would stay again!

Peaceful getaway

we enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Host was quick to respond to our questions. loved the screened in porch and the access to an ice machine, games and toys close by if we needed them. . loved having a kitchen to cook if we wanted and it was nice and clean when we got there. location is close to the beaches. would stay again if we are down in that area.

An experience

Crabbing was great. Could not fish due to very windy. Dock wonderful. History and grounds beautiful and peaceful. Cabin very rustic, needs repairs and cleaning. Few more cooking dishes would be helpful.

Old School Florida...

It was just what I was looking for. A taste of "Old Florida". Nice area, with a water view. The cabins were rustic with a lot of local history on a quiet dead end road. It was easy to meet and socialize with the folks in the other cabins, in the screened in porches, and fishing pier. Docking space is available for your own boat.. Add to that Kim and Robert are super folks with great attitudes. So Yes, we would look forward to staying there again.

Ruined 45th. Wedding Anniversary

This property was not even close to the pictures. I was so disappointed in the overall cleanliness and upkeep of this particular cottage. It should be listed as more suitable for a fishing trip. I didn’t expect bugs, mouse poop, windows that don’t open or close, ac units that have gaps big enough to let in mice, peeling paint and a nonexistent view. The smell of mold and mildew was awful. I immediately left and had to pay stay somewhere else. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I have never had this experience before from VRbo.

Absolutely horrible cottage. Was 100% misrepresented by VRBO. 40 degrees when we arrived to no electricity! No insulation anywhere! Owners do not live near property & took 2 hours to get electricity turned on. 2 tiny space heaters ineffective. Largest window could NOT be closed. Filthy floors throughout. Kitchen light did not work, owner took 3 days to leave new light bulbs at our door. We had to buy a useable frying pan to cook with. Kitchen sink drained onto the ground outside rather than into a pipe. Living room couch in terrible condition. We could go on & on with complaints, how terribly this entire property of 15 cottages are being managed - 14 couples who previously filled all cottages during winter to be together no longer rent at this property due to the lack of reasonable amount of improvements & even basic management. My wife has a lengthy and more detailed list of unnecessary problems we faced. Who can we speak to about false and misleading advertising??? We feel at least a 33% reimbursement would be appropriate!!!

The worst and shortest vacation

Property extremely old, with humidity, bronw spots on ceiling of second room. Smell of mold made it impossible to stay. The owner didn't want to do anything. We stayed for one hour and had to leave. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Very upsetting.

80 years old actually as they are WW11 army barracks. We do not have mold as we explained Dade county pine has a slightly musty smell. You wanted a new hotel not a cottage, there was nothing we could do.

Amazing

This home was beautiful an older home right on the water! my daughter and I felt like princesses and the people there are so friendly we went jet skiing horseback riding on the beach ... we loved Fort Pierce and our rental!!!!
