This is a beautiful lakefront vacation home with a private dock for fishing and swimming. Enjoy the sounds and scenery of Arkansas nature. This beautiful house has all the amenities of home. This home is 30 minutes from downtown Memphis. This property is great for family reunions and family gatherings. It has a big yard for setting up outdoor games. The cabin can be rented for an additional charge. It also has some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. The house also has 3 TVs and cable and Wi-Fi.

Sister’s Trip

We enjoyed ourselves in this lake house very much. It was away from Memphis enough to not be distracting by noise, traffic, or lights. The lake is beautiful and we spent a few days fishing. Being the off season there was very few people around. The only complaint was there was no dresser space in any of the rooms. Overall it was a good choice to stay near Memphis!

Weekend visit with SCO son

The cabin is as represented in the listing. It’s older, dated & rustic but a perfect fit for a family visit, fishing or hunting trip. The setting is absolutely gorgeous & very peaceful with a beautiful lake view & cypress trees in the water. The cabin amenities were good. Huge tv in den for watching college football. We plan to visit again as our son will be in Memphis for several years. The host family members were so nice & even took us on a boat ride to see the lake. If you are in the area this is a great choice for a nice relaxing weekend.

The Gray/Thompson getaway

This is a great location and has tremendous potential. However it needs some TLC. Refrigerator was full of condiments left over from previous renters, freezer was filthy. No cupboard space to put our supplies. BBQ grill was filthy. Main bathroom had excessive flies on the vanity every day. Other locations we have rented had much higher standard for the same price range.

Amazing Sunsets!

Property is accurate to the photos. Being right on the lake is SO FUN! My kids enjoyed fishing and running up and down the dock. Neighborhood is QUIET which was so nice after returning from Memphis each day. Huge kitchen table was great for meals and games. Only negative is that its an older property. Lots of cobwebs in the corners. Lots of dead bugs in the lights.

Fishing Trip

Perfect for our trip

It was a little dark walking up the side of the house to get the key and enter the side door. The house has plenty of space and using the fireplace on a cold night was wonderful. The beds are very firm, but I'd rather have that than very soft. The kitchen is loaded with dishes & utensils and pots & pans. The water pressure is low in the main bathroom shower, but the 2nd bathroom shower has strong flow. There's an outdoor neighbor kitty who is sweet as pie. She loves leftovers. The ant killer bottle on the kitchen sink is a little disconcerting, but there are a few rows of the critters at night and in the morning. It's a little dark even with all the lights on, since it's so big and the lights are spread out. It was a 40-minute drive to downtown Memphis from here. We'd stay again in a heartbeat. We loved having our own nice place to stay where everything worked and was comfortable. The lake was lovely to look at from the dock, about 50 feet from the back door. We weren't able to utilize it since it was so cold, but an outdoor fire on the back patio overlooking the lake would be beautiful.
