Two separate and completely restored cottages in the heart of Mid-Town Ventura. Easy walk to restaurants and many activities. Perfect for two couples traveling together or two families who want to be in the same location with your own privacy. The cottages offer 1st class amenities including separate laundry areas, Nespresso coffee machines in each cottage, plush robes, outdoor blankets, beach towels, bikes, BBQ and more. These cottages are designed with comfort in mind. Wifi and cable TV included. An honor bar makes your arrival and stay a pleasure. Designed for the traveler who appreciates comfort and beauty in their home away from home. These cottages are unique and special. Traveler's will not be disappointed. Our goal is for your stay to be one that helps turn moments into memories! This is the listing for both cottages rented together. They can also be individually rented. We moved to Ventura 9 years ago after our youngest ventured out on his own. Our daughter lives in Australia and our son lives in Chicago. We love almost anything outdoors and have been busy restoring these two cottages for the past 2 years. We love to welcome friends and family to Ventura and the cottages allow us the opportunity to truly provide a home away from home for those who we love when they are in town! We have already hosted over 20 friends and family and look forward to your visit!

It has been my dream for years to restore an old house. Prior to moving to Ventura, we had been looking for a small house to renovate. After 6 years of searching, I drove by the cottages at Pacific and Thompson and fell in love. The cottages were built in 1927 and needed a lot of love. Although my husband is a commercial contractor, and we own a construction company, I still had no idea what it would really take to restore the cottages to honor the time period while bringing every inch of the cottages up to date. It was a labor of love and we are so pleased to share our cottages with those who appreciate a truly comfortable place to be.

The Cottages at Ventura are truly special because you have two completely separate spaces next door to each other in a great mid-town location. You can walk to almost anywhere you would want to go in Ventura and you are a trolley ride away from the Ventura Harbor. The property is set up for relaxation and comfort. For us, comfort is key and amenities are not only an added bonus.... they are a must!
