Just steps to the lifts at Beech Mountain. Get your skis & boards Ready!

You will love being right next to the resort and village for a quick walk back to the house at any point during the day or night. The Slopes at Beech Mountain Resort is the best location on the mountain.

There are comfortable accommodations for up to 10 people, with a king bed in the master, a queen downstairs guest bedroom, 4 twin bunk beds in the bedroom upstairs and a convertible queen in the loft, There are 3 full bathrooms total with one in the master bedroom, another in the main hallway and in the loft.

The house is equipped with a 50 inch smart tv to enjoy after a long day of skiing. The loft has another 42 inch tv with a playstation and xbox 360 for after hours gaming. Other amenities include complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, in-unit washer/dryer, and parking for two vehicles. Cell service is also exceptional!

When the slopes are closed there are summer activities abound. Whether you want to have a leisurely lunch at the Buckeye Recreation Center, fish one of the numerous lakes or streams, downhill mountain biking, or take a hike there is something for everyone.

Please use stairs with caution. We recommend getting a locker or carrying your gear down to the slopes in regular boots. Do not wear your ski boots on the stairs.
The fireplace is for decorative purposes only and not to be used.
Please make sure you accompany children on the deck.

Fantastic

The unit is perfectly situated for a quick walk to the ski village. The kitchen is well stocked. Clean. Communication with the manager was seamless and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Would stay again

Property exactly as explained/ advertised. Very clean, well appointed with lots of necessities like soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, salt, pepper, pan spray, condiments, etc. Lots of dishes and cookware, toaster, coffee maker (k-cup and drip). Beds were all comfortable and there were lots of extra linens and blankets, throw blankets for the living room, etc. The place is spacious and our family had plenty of room to spread out or be alone. Access to ski lift was pretty easy going down, but a bit of a trek coming back up after skiing. Communication with Brad was easy and he was quickly responsive. We were very comfortable and would absolutely return to 40 The Slopes! Thank you, Brad!

Amazing Trip

We loved the location of the house. Just a very easy walk and we were on the slopes. We had to extend our stay because of a lot of snow, and host was very accommodating.

Pleased

The property was very well stocked with all kitchen necessities as well as towels, blankets, and even air mattresses. Communication with the owner was good. Overall we were pleased with the property and its location very short walk to ski area. Even with teenagers who typically complain about everything didn’t have much to complain about in regards to house location. Having the upstairs bunk room and loft area for kids to get away from adults was a great feature.

Great time on the slopes

Our family went for a winter ski trip and was not disappointed. We had a great time and enjoyed the stay. Although, for lack of snow and warm weather some of Beech mountain slopes were closed we still had a great time. The house was perfect and comfortable for our big family of 9. The location was good in that it was near the slopes but the stairs definitely got your heart rate up! Overall… it was a very good experience and we had loads of fun. We would recommend to his house to any family looking for a fun ski getaway!

Great Family Vacation!

We had a great family getaway! The location cannot be beat! Just steps from the slopes made it very easy for our family to enjoy skiing for the first time. We highly recommend Brad and 40 Slopes Lane, we will be back again.

House as advertised, clean, well stocked, great location

Stayed with my wife and two children for a ski weekend. Location was great, easily walked to slopes. Gorgeous view. The house is well stocked for cooking. Definitely would recommend and return.

Excellent property exactly as described

The owners had everything laid out down to what was supplied. A very well stocked place with a good view. Very straight forward and easy check in and check out, with the supplies made for a very enjoyable experience. We went in the fall and had no issues, but winter stays might require 4WD and even chains if expecting snow or ice. Would recommend and stay here again!

Great family time!

We enjoyed our time in beautiful Beech Mountain with our family! My grandchildren loved the deer that roamed nearby! The house was very nice and clean! We would love come back in the near future!

Secluded Beech Property

The house is located close to the ski side of the mountain. High ceilings. Tucked into trees. Would stay again.

Wonderful place to stay!

Brad was a great host! He responded to my questions right away. The house was clean and cozy and was even better than the pictures portayed it. There were even deer hanging out in the lawn! Definitely reccomend staying here

Great Location!

Had a great time in North Carolina. You can ask to be any closer to the slopes. Just walk down the stairs and you are there. Highly recommended!!!

Fabulous property on the slopes of Beech Mountain

This house was amazing and a walk to the slopes a Beech Mountain. It was perfect for my daughter, her husband and child and my husband and I. We each had separate sleeping areas and we never heard the baby cry at night. It has been recently renovated I believe as it was very current, clean, and comfortable

The most family friendly place

Great location and definitely the most kid friendly place we’ve stayed at. The owner was very responsive and friendly. The coffee maker was stocked with k-cups. We had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place

Slopes 40

We had a great time at Beech mtn. Property close enough to walk. Lots of steps for those who may have mobility issues. The kitchen is stocked very average but we made it work. We needed towels for all of the guests (8 people) but only 6 towels provided. We contacted manager but were they were never delivered. Oh well - annoying but we just shared and washed constantly. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Great for a Mountain Weekend

This rental was great! Lots of space to socialize safely in a pandemic world. We all had our own bathroom. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and well-stocked. Check in was a breeze, and communication with the property manager was easy. Would love to return!

Hidden Gem

I am conflicted writing this review because I am worried I won't be able to get on the books again to get back to this wonderful property! The location is fantastic with great views. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental. All of the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating of our group of 7. Beech Mountain is a wonderful little town. We will be back again!

Responsive owner and clean, family friendly house. Walking distance to Beech Mountain lift and short drive to other Beech Mountain activities. Perfect house for a family vacation!

Great escape from the heat

Visited this property up above 5000 feet elevation in July when it was 100+ heat index at home (Charlotte). It was in 70s every day in upper 50s at night, which was terrific. House is well appointed with full kitchen, quality stoneware, utensils, small appliances, etc. Location is great and walkable to Beech Mtn Brewery, ski lodge, multiple restaurants, etc. Owner was super responsive and helpful throughout ... highly recommend.

Lovely, Clean Condo in a beautiful location.

Brad is the easiest to work with. We really enjoyed the condo and all the amenities. Having a pack and play, high chair and toys made packing much simpler. We were greeted by a family of deer when we arrived! We were 4 generations of family together making beautiful memories! I highly recommend renting from Brad!!
