Wilderness Club at Big Cedar offers the ultimate family-friendly retreat leaving the impression of rustic elegance and ideal extended family vacations! There, you can enjoy the unique charms of the resort's wilderness lodge architecture and its beautiful natural scenery.

Approximately 450 square feet, this spaciously warm and homey state of the art studio features 1 King Bed and 1 Sofa bed in the living area including a kitchenette, bathroom and laundry is in the common area. Maximum of 4 occupants.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Hence, if you have any concerns, our office are open 24 hours to respond to your requests. For here at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction.

Anniversary Get-away

We really enjoyed our time at the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar. It is always a great place to relax and unwind. The accommodations were great and the ease of checking in was smooth. Highly recommend!!!

Overrated

The room was so dark...really, really dark, even with every light on and the sliding door curtains open. The blanket and bedding for the sofa bed was dirty as well! The noise from the floor above us was disturbing, but we decided they weren't doing anything crazy, just walking yet it sounded as if they were standing over us jumping up and down. The king bed was lumpy and hard. We enjoyed our stay despite these issues as the property itself was very nice. We had plenty of places to go and things to do so spent very little time in the room. The rest of the amenities and the property may make up for the condition of the room.

Short 2 night stay but really enjoyed!

We just had a few days to spend seeing Dogwood Canyon, Christmas lights and ‘Jesus’ at Sight & Sound. We wanted to be centrally located between these areas. Our room was clean, well stocked and very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The couch was comfortable too. Figuring out where the check-in office was located was confusing…. We finally just lucked up on it. Then the hassle of having to listen to ‘attend this meeting and we will give you a gift card’ just to get the parking pass left a real sour taste on the whole check-in process. The room was great and the price was very reasonable.

So much to do in such a beautiful setting. We couldn’t fit it all in so a return trip is needed!

Honesty is the Best policy

The overall stay was good. The only problem we had was after we checked in received our keys and car pass we were told the room was not quite ready . Customer service said we would have a 20 -30 minute wait so we said okay no big deal. Checked back in 30 minutes later still not ready , we would need to wait another 30 minutes . After waiting and hour we wanted and explanation why was it taking so long? Customer service said they would have a manager call us back. Wait another 30 minutes no call so we call customer service back . Customer service said the room is now being cleaned and will be ready in 30 minutes. Manager is supposed to call us. Now we have been waiting 2 hrs no call from management . So we call back and demanded to speak to a manager it is now 6:00 pm Manager said room should be ready in 20 minutes but he could put us in another room in a different building but we would have to return back to the check in facility which would take longer than waiting another 20 minutes. We got into our room 2 and half hrs .later after traveling for four and half hours and then waiting 2 and half hours to get into our room we were really tired and not please with the service. 15 minutes after we were in our room a dinner for two at the Devil’s Pool Restaurant was delivered to us . The next morning we did receive a call from customer service to make sure we were happy with our room. I let the person calling know, We were happy with our room but we were not happy with customer service at check in time. We would of preferred if they would have been honest with us. Instead of having us wait and call back every 30 minutes. It was a waste of our time and theirs by not being honest when we first checked in that we would have a 2 hour wait. The rest of our stay was wonderful.

Our home away from home.

Always enjoy this beautiful location and the ambiance and amenities that the Wilderness lodge provides. Our family feels right at home with everything we need to enjoy some time together. Perfect place to sit and enjoy the snow fall this time of year.

Big Cedar was Beautiful

Our room was nice & fur our needs just fine. Clean & decorated quite nicely. We were a very short walking distance to a gorgeous swimming pool complex. The shuttles were a great way to get around.

Spring Break trip

Staff went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing stay. Our accommodations met all of our needs and the kids loved it here! We will be back!

Great family time in outdoors!

Very family friendly & lots to do. Guests do need to be aware that many Big Cedar activities cost money. Family adventure and a lot of fun.

Good value for the money.

WAS on basement floor. Expected to be higher up. Kitchen not stocked well for cooking. Cleaning around and under things could be better. Over all for the money it was good.

Great property....charming experience

We truly enjoyed our stay at Big Cedar. The first night we had issue with refrigerator not working. Maintenance was there in 15 mins and had it changed for new model in 30 mins. Lots of activities and wonderful people on site!
