50Acre Farm w/Games Barn & Projection Room.

Hey there!
Welcome to our spacious and comfy 50 Acre farm with separate GAMES PALOUR . We’ve got four bedrooms upstairs, with two king beds, two queen beds, a TODDLERS BED AND aPACKNPLAY.

On the lower level, there’s an exit, and we have four single beds and two Queen beds ( air mattresses on bed frames ) and a MOVIE PROJECTION area.

The upper bathroom has a separate shower and a soaker tub. The living room can seat ten people and has a WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE and it , a 60-inch smart TV, and a Sonos music system. The dining room can seat 18 guests.

The main floor shower is handicap-accessible and has a washer/dryer, a full freezer with an ice maker, and a powder room.

Our fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a coffee pot, coffee grinder, Keurig, a soda water machine, Alclad pots, pans, bakeware, trays, small appliances, crystal wine glasses, ice buckets, martini glasses, dishes, bowls, glasses, and more.

The main floor also has a gym with a treadmill, step master, free weights, ropes, boxing gloves, mats, a weight bench, and a TV with a DVD machine.

The main floor screened-in patio has a bar, a smart TV, a fire table, wind/sun shades, and plenty of seating. There’s also a huge outdoor fire pit.

Our seperate games barn has a comfy seating, a TV, shuffleboard, foosball, a dartboard with professional darts, a poker table with comfortable chairs and poker chips, corn hole, a billiards table, and so much more.

We also have an outdoor badminton/volleyball net and a wide variety of outdoor games to play under the lights.

We loved having conversations every night around the fire pit. The kitchen was amazing to cook family dinners. The house was spotlessly clean. Immaculate. Everyone loved the games in the party barn and adult kids matching movies downstairs

Everything there and then some!

Loved the fireplace, beds were so comfortable and even played some karaoke! Definitely one of the best stays we've ever had.

Beautiful property to have a large family gathering! The host has covered everything. Lots of activities to do! Quality decor and furniture. The games room is amazing! And so is the outdoor space. Inside is cozy but spacious! The owner Alvina is lovely and Gina the property manager is thorough and helpful. I can’t wait to go back again next year. I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at Bob and Alvina's property. We really should have booked it for longer than the weekend to truly feel like we got the most out of all the spaces and activities to do there. The space is very well taken care of and clean which was nice. They have a room with kids toys which was really nice for our little girls as well. We would definitely book here again! Thanks for the great stay and your prompt responses if I had any questions :)

A little gem in Port Rowan

The property is very spacious, beautifully decorated and has the best game rooms I've ever seen. Communication was smooth with both the property manager and the owner. The house has literally everything just bring your clothes and enjoy.

Very thoughtful accommodations. Can’t think of a thing that we needed that wasn’t there. Beautiful eclectic decor with visitor’s comfort in mind. A few minor hiccups upon arrival that were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Had a great time.

Don’t recommend this stay. It is set up as a large party accommodation space, however, they are very unforgiving if anything breaks. If you do stay, I recommend taking photos of how the space was left to ensure you aren’t charged for damages you are not responsible for. Unfortunately, the aftermath of our stay left a bad taste in our mouths and we are unable to recommend this stay.

Fall Getaway

Everything was perfect. The property was very clean and extremely well equipped. The kitchen had everything a chef could desire and we all agreed that this was the best kitchen our group had ever enjoyed. Bedrooms on the second floor were very nice - linens, towels, comfy socks - and well furnished. The house was really nicely furnished and every comfort was thought of. We all enjoyed that party barn and the games of fussball, snooker and shuffleboard were a real hoot. All in all, a top notch rental.

Weekend Getaway

Where to start... This property is truly amazing! There's so much to do that you'd probably need to stay for a week to get it all in. Three couples enjoyed a weekend get away at the Fat Raccoon on a beautiful fall weekend. In addition to the many activities at the property, we also took in Port Rowan, Long Point and a 2.5 hour walk in the adjacent conservation area. All were stunning. Evenings were also a highlight with a great space to prepare dinner and also to hang out and enjoy a fire. Thanks Alvina and Gina for being great hosts!

Best place ever.

Alvina (OWNER)in concert with Gin (MANAGER) have teamed up to create one of the astonishing experiences in the rental world. The property was more than we could have expected. Amazing weekend getaway

I don’t even know where to begin it was beyond amazing. The property is amazing in the listing and blows it out of the water in person. Gina the property manager was so helpful words can’t explain. I would recommend to everyone and anyone this is the best rental I’ve ever stayed at.

Fabulous place for a large family get together. Extremely well equipped with lots of nice thoughtful touches(some cooking essentials, bath products, welcome treats). Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our second time renting it at this time of year, we enjoyed it that much ! Host is very easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. Lots to do at the property for family members of all ages .Highly recommended!

Great property

We had a small get together due to Covid, however the property would be wonderful for large gatherings as well. Nice to have a real fire on the cooler fall days. Hospitality was perfect. Only issue with some guest is there is no regular TV. Only Netflix or subscriptions. Otherwise. Perfect

Amazing stay and venue!!!

The Fat Racoon Farm is an absolutely amazing property! The house: you will find everything you need here. There are games, movies, all the kitchen supplies, many comfy seating areas, huge fridge/freezer, lots of towels, etc etc. They have everything! Front and back entrance and a gym too The location: Fat Racoon Farm is on a perfect location in Port Rowan! On the highway is is easily accessible from many different attractions in the area. It is 10 mins from Long Point and Turkey Point Park. 10 min drive to many wineries, Backus Heritage Site and Long Point Eco Adventures. Close to Port Rowan town. The space: 4 beautiful bedrooms upstairs. Great beds and windows. One bedroom downstairs. Great common areas and pool table in basement! Outdoor screened in patio is amazing and such a great spot for dinner or hanging out! The owner: Alvina is an outstanding person!! She was so incredibly helpful with everything we needed and accommodated many requests. She always answers promptly and is understanding The property: there is a small fire pit in the patio and a really big one outside that is awesome!! Plenty of Outdoor seating, beautiful gardens, lots of room for games and surrounded by beautiful fields! The party barn is a great addition with kids toys and adult games. Wrap around driveway is really nice The venue: In addition to staying here for a week we also used the Fat Racoon Farm for our outdoor wedding! Alvina was a great assistance with this and we worked with her to book everything including an outdoor bathroom, large event tent, furniture rentals etc. Alvina helped us with lighting, decorating and parking on the day of our wedding. We had 50 people in attendance at our wedding and had plenty of room! The flowers and property were beautiful and have so much potential for decorating, and setting up for an event. I would highly recommend the Fat Racoon Farm for staying with family or friends. It is also a fantastic location for a beautiful outdoor event such as a wedding, family reunion, party, etc. AMAZING PLACE!! 10 stars!!

We chose to buy this home because of the size (we have a very large family ) location and privacy .
It has fulfilled all of our expectations and then some as a holiday home in the country located close to water (we like to boat and fish) and the quaint little village of Port Rowan, On.

We love the space inside and outside of our home.
The additional buildings has allowed for a private party room as well as our fishing hut.
Our home has 4 bedroom plus 1 in the basement.
And couches kitchen for gathering and cooking and an amazing patio for the party to spill over in
