Modern horse country property with 2.5 acres of land on a private and gated ranch. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax at the enormous pool during the day or cook smores over the fire pit at night. Night life in downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beaches is only 30 minutes away. Walking distance to famous Everglades Holiday Park, home of Animal Planets Gator Boys where you can take an airboat ride for gator watching or fishing. Maybe even go horseback riding , there are several locations close by. Perhaps try your luck at the famous Seminole Hard Rock Guitar Hotel and Casino just minutes away. If you just want to relax at home you can use the huge pool, the mini basketball court, the pool table and also the ping pong table. Guests should feel free to use the outdoor fire pit as well as the outdoor black chairs located behind the large shed in the back of the property. However, before going to sleep or leaving the property please make sure that the fire is fully extinguished.
Also, our home is on a septic system and therefore please do not flush any wipes, feminine products, paper towels, etc. down the system. Light weight/single ply toilet paper ONLY may be used and will be provided. All other products please place in the trash can.
VERY VERY IMPORTANT, YOU MUST LIST THE EXACT AND CORRECT NUMBER OF GUESTS IN YOUR PARTY FOR EACH DAY AND ABSOLUTELY NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED. Food or other types of deliveries are exempt. A $39 FEE WILL BE ASSESSED PER PERSON PER DAY OVER A TOTAL OF 4 PEOPLE REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE SLEEPING OVER OR JUST VISITING. ADDITIONALLY, THERE IS A TOTAL MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
In addition, check-in is at 4pm and early check-ins are NOT permitted. Check-out is at 10am and late check-outs are not permitted. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A LATE CHECK OUT FEE OF $200 if a guest checks out later than 1001am up until 11am, after that there is an additional late check out fee of $69 for every hour after 1100am and until the guest is completely checked out and keys and remote are returned. On the day of your departure and prior to leaving the house it shall be organized, furniture, if previously moved, must be returned to their original positions. All dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. shall be washed, dried and put back in the cabinets and all trash removed and placed in the outside trash bin receptacles in the wood corral near the driveway. Please do not lose or break any keys or gate remote as there is a lock replacement fee of $200 for each key lost as well as a $200 gate remote replacement and reprogramming fee.
No food, drinks or condiments shall be left on or in the refrigerator, freezer, oven, cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cabinets, drawers, counters or sink or anywhere outside the guesthouse. No interior furniture shall be used outside.
Please use the pool table, ping pong table and accessories with great care. If you want to use the ping pong table top, it requires a minimum of 2 people to carefully place it on top of the pool table. Damage to the pool table can easily occur. If you need help putting the ping pong table on, please just ask.
Absolutely, no glass bottles or glass containers of any kind in, near or around the pool.
**TO ALL FISHERMAN: We are very well suited and host many fisherman due to our property size for storing trucks, boats, trailers, tackle and gear, security, and amenities such as a fish cleaning station, fresh water for boat cleaning and a charging station for overnight boat battery charging. We are in very close proximity to various launching sites for the Everglades.
**IMPORTANT: If you plan to bring trucks, trailers, boats, tackle and gear, please let us know as we charge a fee for these various extra services and amenities. There isn't a flat fee because different variables will determine the cost, such as number of trucks, trailers, boats, length of stay, number of guests, etc. Also, please note that the person making the reservation MUST complete the reservation and not leave other guests in their party with the responsibility of checking out on the correct day at the correct time of check out. The gas grill outside the guesthouse next to the pool side door is for your exclusive use. Please note however we do not supply propane. If you would like to purchase a propane tank so that you may use the grill please ask and we will provide a full tank for a fee of $35.
