☀️Updated Cottage, Heated Pool, Great Location near Silver Lake Sand Dunes!
Our cottage is great fit for a couple, small family, or a few friends! (5 max adults & 8 overnight guests total).
Our Cottage is located in the Floradale Association. Literally steps away from the heated pool. So convenient for all, but especially if you have kids in your party. You also have access to the Club House, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Tether ball, Horseshoes, Tennis and Basketball courts as well as 400ft of private association beachfront with swimming dock.
Our cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a Queen bed, and 1 with 2 sets of bunk beds. Twin sleeper sofa, and sofa in Living Room space. There is 1 bath with shower. There is also a large well-equipped kitchen and dining room with large table that seats 8. The cottage also has a deck with dinning space. There is lawn furniture, an outdoor grill, and private fire pit. Plenty of parking! Large lot.
We have just finished renovating this cottage and it looks amazing! All painted light and bright with fun beachy décor. Air and heat. This cottage will not disappoint. Feel free to inquire about the renovation. We can also show you our other cottage in the same association if you are interested in a larger cottage or are traveling with a larger group.
We do rent by the week, Friday to Friday from mid-June to Labor Day. Before and after those dates, we do rent for a 2-3 day minimum. If you don't see exactly what you want with dates feel free to message and we will see what we can do to accommodate you!
Just a few miles away is the state park dunes where you can ride through the sand or walk. Also, you can take a dune ride from Mac Woods or rent a buggy to tear up the dunes yourself. There is also a 22-mile paved bike /hiking trail along with mini-golf, bumper cars, go-carts, and many specialty shops to browse through. So, book your vacation today for summer and fall 2026 or2027! Hello, we are Ker and Melissa! We have 2 rental cottages in the area and feel that short term rentals play to both of our strengths very well. Ker has worked in construction for his whole life. He remodeled both of the cottages we own and does all the maintenance on them himself. I have always enjoyed hospitality, and hosting and handle all of the booking and communication and also clean and ready the cottages between guests with our 3 daughters. This is truly a family business, and we are delighted to share with you what we have created! We both grew up going "Up North" for family vacations as children and love the area. In 2012 we stayed with a friend who has a cottage in the Floradale Association of Silver Lake. We both loved the history of the association being started by Mac Woods as a resort in 1930. It feels a bit like stepping back in time and just feels like a special place. On that trip in 2012 my husband asked our friend, "Which one is for sale?" and we bought that one within the short months following. We purchased this cottage as well in 2019. We love sharing our cottages with you are proud of what we have created. We know you will love it as much as we do!

Our cottage is updated with comfortable and cute beachy decor fitting the dune theme. It feels a bit like a tree house as well with large window to the back, with a ravine below giving a beautiful tree filled view. It is cozy. The association is a little escape from the hustle and bustle of town and the dunes. And the heated pool and amenities are just a bonus to round out your stay in Silver Lake.
