Great stay!

Fantastic house in a great location! The only issue are the motorbikes driving fast in the street, nothing the owner can be blamed for.

Lovely, well equipped property in the beautiful village of Roquebrun. Fantastic location, we had a wonderful 2 week stay with everything we needed, including maps and leaflets. The aircon was heaven sent in the August temperatures we had this year! The owner, Monique, contacted us when we arrived to check everything was OK and was also easy to contact if we had any issues/questions. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful location and well equipped property. There was a lovely view from the terrace and it was centre of village so easy access to bars, restaurants, river beach and the kayak centre.The only negative was the lack of hospitality. The fridge was empty: no milk, butter, jam.... No fruit or biscuits. Only enough coffee for one cup for 3 people. No washing pods and not even enough pods for one dishwasher cycle per day. No shower cream or shampoo. As a guest, especially if arriving by plane, you can't bring these things with you.Apart from the latter comments, the place was perfect.

We're glad you enjoyed the house. There are the essentials, such as oil, vinegar, and some spices, toilet paper, and dish washer tablets (sorry if this was not enough), but we remove open packaging because we consider it unhygienic. Roquebrun has a small supermarket, and guests can also provide a shopping list in case they arrive late. It was nice meeting you!

Skønt hus med fantastisk terrasse

Huset er rummeligt, med alt hvad man behøver af bekvemmeligheder for at få en behagelig ferie, perfekt til 6 personer og med en stor terrasse, hvor man har en fantastisk udsigt og kan følge med i livet i Roquebrun. Maison Les Hirondelles ligger centralt men hyggeligt, og der er gå afstand til floden, indkøb, vandreture, vinsmagning, restauranter, cafeer mm. Monique var behjælpelig med gode råd om aktiviteter og var altid til at få fat på. Vi har haft en dejlig ferie med familien og kan varmt anbefale et ophold her.

Location parfaite

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette location. Il s'agissait d'un séjour hivernal, la maison est bien chauffée, la cheminée est parfaite. Confort , déco et propreté ++++... Nous reviendrons!

Lovely old house in the bustling village of Roquebrun

This unique house is the perfect place to watch village life happen in front of you from the terrace. There are great views to the vineyards and hills beyond and always something going on in the village below. Inside, we particularly appreciated the kitchen and living room (Aircon!) and outside the terrace was a great place to watch the world go by, although the music from the restaurant next door did grow tiresome towards the end of the stay. Monique was attentive and always helpful when contacted and was even kind enough to bring an extra sun lounger for us to use. A great week!

Perfekt feriebolig for os

Les Hirondelles var et perfekt feriehus for os. Der er alt hvad man har brug for. Dejligt centralt beliggende i Roquebrun, og alligevel ugenert terasse. Monique og Reinoud er meget betænksomme, og nemme at få fat i hvis der er det mindste. Det er meget sandsynligt at vi vender tilbage.

Fantastic house in great little village

We loved this house in the pretty village of Roquebrun. The house is traditional inside. Well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms with good showers. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There is a TV showing French channels and DVDs and CDs. The terrace at the front is large - sun loungers and a table and chairs. There is also a little terrace at the back which gets the sun early in the day. There are two adjoining bedrooms upstairs which are lovely - but the stairs are steep so probably not suitable for young children. The house is situated on the main street of the village, next to the boulangerie. The village has three restaurants - we tried them all and have no complaints! There is also a bar/pizzeria and another little cafe. There is a tourist office and walks from the village - and plenty of walking not too far from the village. The house has maps and leaflets to help with this. The village is on the river Orb - lovely for cooling off in the hot weather. Roquebrun is about a 45 minute drive from Beziers which is nice for a day trip. The owner, Monique, contacted us just after we arrived to check that everything was OK and it was easy to contact her if we had any further questions.
