Quinta de Sao Roque is an exclusive beach-side development set amongst sub tropical gardens and swimming pools, overlooking the beautiful Meia Praia beach near Lagos. The views surrounding Quinta de Sao Roque are stunning with the Monchique mountains forming the perfect backdrop and Palmeres golf course next door, it is ideally situated for enjoying the best of the Algarve. The vibrant town of Lagos with its old cobbled street with bars and restaurants and lively marina, is just a 5 minute drive away. Lagos also boasts some of the Algarve's most picturesque beaches with plenty of activities for all the family.

The property has a ground floor with a spacious well equipped kitchen and open plan living and dining room leading onto a BBQ terrace that looks out to sea. The first floor has a master bedroom with double bed, en-suite and balcony overlooking the beach. The second bedroom has twin beds and there is a separate bathroom. An extra bed can be provided to go in the master bedroom for an additional fee.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. The concerns referenced in your review were brought to the attention of our local property manager approximately two days after arrival. Upon being notified, the manager immediately offered to investigate and address the issues raised. Any maintenance concerns were promptly attended to, and the affected area was subsequently repaired and redecorated. With regard to the barbecue, a replacement grill and accessories were available and could have been provided during your stay had they been requested. As a gesture of goodwill, and following your decision to depart early, we provided a full refund for all unused nights of your booking. We take guest feedback seriously and always aim to resolve any concerns as quickly as possible when they are brought to our attention. We remain committed to maintaining high standards and appreciate the opportunity to address any issues raised by our guests.

Awesome place to relax and enjoy the Algarve

The house is great. Spacious, clean, full well equipped kitchen and the most fantastic sea view. The location and setting are beautiful and quiet. It was always nice and peaceful by the pools. It's just a 10 minute walk down to the beach where there are nice beach bars and restaurants. We came home feeling so relaxed but seriously missing walking up to that amazing view each morning!

Lagos holiday

The location was perfect with Lagos on your doorstep , the complex was quite and well presented, and the view from our balcony were amazing, the town house we stayed in was very spacious but unfortunately very tied and needing some TLC lots of chipped plates missed matched cups and glasses from local bars, and kitchen knifes that handles would come off (very dangerous ) we did not use the outside BBQ as it looked like it had not been cleaned for some time,and the beds were very uncomfortable with very thin mattresses , we feel this let the property down having paid a good rate for our stay.

Vistas preciosas al mar y mucha tranquilidad ...!!!!

La casa está en una colina, asique las vistas a la playa de Meia Praia es muy bonita. Tiene una agradable terraza con barbacoa que te permite disfrutar de una comida con una vistas preciosas. La urbanización es muy tranquila, es verdad que fuimos en Mayo. Puedes bajar a la playa caminando en 10 minutos. El centro histórico se encuentra a 5 minutos en coche, al igual que los principales supermercados. Las comodidades de la casa son tal cual se describe en el anuncio, por poner un pero....haría falta renovar los cuchillos de mesa.....no sirven para carne. Por lo damás super recomendable.

Beautiful Beach View

The directions to the property were inadequate for someone who has never been to this property or to Portugal previously. We were generally very happy with the property with the exception of the bathroom upstairs where the tub enclosure leaked onto the floor when you took a shower. We reported it and someone came and took about 5 minutes to reseal the enclosure which began leaking again in a few days The coffee pot was what you might find in a hotel, too small for four adults and very cheaply made. There were only 7 dinner forks and with four adults that is half of what is required. We really enjoyed getting up each morning and enjoying coffee while soaking up the beautiful view. I guess that is why a 6 cup coffee maker was very disappointing as we could not get four full cups of coffee unless we made two batches of coffee. If these issues were addressed it would make it more comfortable for the next visitors.

A wonderful holiday destination

The townhome is beautifully located on the top of a hill overlooking the ocean and only 10 minutes from Lagos, a vibrant town with lots of outside restaurants, exciting plazas, quaint narrow streets, entertainers, many shops, and sea-side excursions. Grocery shopping is nearby and the beach and ocean side restaurants within walking distance.

Excelente para férias de praia em família!

Espaço ótimo para uma família até 3 filhos, excelente espaço de barbecue, praia com imenso espaço a 10 minutos a pé. Perto e longe da confusão! Só faltou mesmo uma máquina de café...não há cafés próximos.

The view says it all

We have had a brilliant time in the villa. From check in to departure went very smoothly. The villa had all the amenities we needed. The pool area was also very nice. Would definitely return. You could never get bored with the view. Only downside was I only booked 7 nights...……...

Lovely house in great location.

We stayed for 2 weeks in March and had a fabulous holiday. The house was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious and well equipped and has the most amazing sea view. It’s located on a small complex with two nice pools. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s just a short walk to the beach and a few minutes drive from centre of Lagos. We would definitely rent this house again.

Très agréable location en bord de mer!

Petite maison très propre et très bien conçue et avec ses 2 chambres et deux salles de bain dans un site calme malgré la proximité de la mer. La vue et les pièces correspondent vraiment aux photos. La magnifique plage est à 10mn de marche et la petite ville de Lagos est charmante. Nous avons été séduits par la luminosité de la maison et par les plantes exotiques présentes dans toute la résidence. Les piscines ont été aussi utiles qu'agréables en cas de vent ou de grande chaleur !Un vrai petit coin de paradis que nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à quitter !

Tolle Lage, aber!

Tolle Lage mit wirklich wunderschönem Ausblick. Ferienanlage auch gut und viel Platz im Haus. Aber:: Dringend Sanierungsbedarf, d. h. muffige Luft im gesamten Haus- nur mit Dauerlüften auszuhalten. Insbesondere die der Sonne abgewandte Seite- Küche und Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten penetranter Geruch: Gläser, Töpfe,.. aus den Schränken haben Eigengeruch. Wir haben zwei Wochen aus den Koffern gelebt und nichts in die Schränke gelegt. Für Allergiker absolut schlimm. Hätte toll sein können, so fühlte man sich leider im Haus unwohl.

Reihenferienhaus mit viel Charme und toller Aussicht

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber und hatte alles was man benötigt. Besonders gefallen hat uns: Der Charme des Hauses. (Kamin, Pflanzen & Blumen am Haus, Veranda etc.) Die super tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und der Sonnenaufgang. Der persönliche Kontakt durch eine Rezeption (tagsüber) mit sehr hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Wifi auch im Haus und nicht nur an der Rezeption wäre perfekt gewesen.

Superbe location

La location est conforme à l'annonce : une maison spacieuse, propre et calme! Une très belle vue. Plage à 10 Minutes à pied. Et le centre de l'avis à 10 Minutes en voitures avec beaucoup de bars et restos sympas! Seul bémol... mais pas grave: pas de wifi. Nous recommandons vivement !

Frühling im wunderschönen Domizil

Wir hatten ein sehr schöne Zeit zu viert Anfang März in diesem tollen Haus, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. In der Vorbereitung hat uns Liz auf jede Frage umgehend geantwortet und sich gekümmert und bei der Ankunft wurde wir von dem Herrn in der Rezeption empfangen und es wurde uns alles umfassend erklärt. Das Haus war vor unserem Reisezeitpunkt Ende Februar/Anfang März für längere Zeit nicht bewohnt gewesen, aber es war alles tiptop in Ordnung und frisch. Wir waren zwar bemüht den Kamin zu nutzen, aber das Holz welches wir in verschiedenen Supermärkten gekauft haben, war nicht richtig trocken und so war es schwer ein wärmendes Feuer zu entfachen, daher sind wir doch hin und wieder gern auf die Heizkörper zurückgekommen. Der Blick von Terrasse und Balkon und aus den angrenzenden Zimmern ist immer wieder wunderschön zu unterschiedlichen Tages/Nachtzeiten und die Zeit die wir draußen verbracht haben fanden wir unglaublich wertvoll. Das Haus ist für 4 Personen bestens geeignet, sehr geräumig und es fehlt nichts an der Ausstattung. Die ganze Anlage Quinta de Sao Roque ist sehr gepflegt, man wohnt dort sehr ruhig und die beiden Pools sind zentral und mit Duschen und einigen Liegen ausgestattet. Wir können uns auf jeden Fall vorstellen wiederzukommen.

My daughters and I had a wonderful time in this house. The property manager went out of her way to help us with finding nice restaurants, car rental and anything you could think of. The house is ideally located with a panaromaic view on the sea and mountains- better than in the photos, and 10 minutes stroll from the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Beds were nice and comfortable. We will recommend and hope to return one day.

Wonderful location for a relaxing holiday

My wife and I spent a glorious week in this superb house. The house is spacious and well maintained. The view from the terrace and balcony is simply stunning. We spent a relaxing time by the lovely pools and on the sunloungers on the balcony. The house is superbly equipped and In a lovely location within a comfortable 10 minute stroll of the beach and bars and restaurants. I will certainly look to return to this villa next time however would be for at least 14 nights!
