Catch some R&R with Timber Lodging

Welcome to Timber Lodging! Our beautiful secluded log cabin is located just over an hour from Columbus nestled on 16 acres in Hocking Hills Ohio. Whether you just want to relax or enjoy the many activities from hiking, cycling, mountain biking, ATV riding, or fishing, there is no better place to start than from right here.

Hocking River and Lake Hope are just minutes away. The Zaleski State Forest at Lake Hope offers some of the best hiking in Ohio. For the Kayakers and fishermen that want to visit the area, Burr Oak State Park is another favorite just 25 minutes east of Nelsonville with great boating and fishing opportunities.

Kick back and relax with a fire going while reading a great book or watch a favorite on the 55" led tv. Challenge your family and friends to a game of 8-ball on the pool table.

The dining area has a beautiful Amish-built walnut table for your family and friends to enjoy a great meal and play a favorite card game. The cabin has a king bed master on the first floor and two queen beds in the loft.

The is also a queen pull-out sofa in the basement as well.

The screened-in back porch features a 6 person Jacuzzi tub that is sure to soak up any stress and leave you feeling refreshed for your next adventure. There is also a gas grill to cook your favorite meal on the slate patio that leads down to the outdoor fire pit.

Rental Rates are based on a 4-person occupancy. Max occupancy is 6 guests. We do have a single security camera above the rear porch facing the garage and driveway.

Great cabin on a very well maintained property. Owner is very responsive and communicative. Probably the most comfortable bed in a cabin we have ever stayed at and we have stayed and owned lots of cabins in the Hocking Hills. Hot tub was clean, covered, and had a great view. Perfect anniversary weekend.

The property was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with everything. The area is full of possibilities of adventures, the beds are comfortable, and there was nothing more we could've asked for.

We loved the cabin. Nice swing on the front porch to relax and have coffee in the morning and perfect deck in the back to play cards and have a fire. Would definitely go back!!

The cabin was very clean. The bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. The basement was great having a pool table and darts for my teen boys. Very nicely decorated inside and felt good being away from the city.

Had a great visit. The cabin and outdoor area looked exactly like it did in the pictures. We would definitely book again. The cabin was very clean and everything was really easy to use. Grilled steaks one night on the grill and they were excellent along with a beautiful area to sit by the fire. The hosts were easy to get in contact with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Property was exactly as pictured and gorgeous. My FIL loved the pond and enjoyed a few casts and sitting on the swing enjoying nature. The boys enjoyed the pool table and hot tub the most. Us ladies, enjoyed the kitchen so we could have home cooked meals and the extra bathrooms. Would stay here again. It’s off the beaten path and a beautiful piece of property with great nature views. Only 30 minutes from Hocking Hills.

Cabin was so cozy and clean. The outdoor fire pit space was amazing. We walked a little on the property and really enjoyed the pond. 10/10 would recommend.

This cabin was by far one of the best we have ever stayed at while visiting Hocking Hills. It was just close enough to everything we wanted to do in town, but secluded enough that we could stargaze without light pollution every night. The hot tub was was so clean as was the cabin and the grounds. The hosts were wonderful and very informative, I can not say enough about how much we loved our stay!

Brand new large hot tub was enjoyable, as was the wood burning fireplace on the cool nights. The dock and pond were nice to visit in the late afternoon and the front porch swing was delightful in the morning to drink coffee and bird watch. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Amazing cabin! Clean, stocked, and peaceful. From the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable king sized bed, this place has everything you could want. So peaceful in February cozy by the fire, but would love to come back in the summer time to enjoy more of the outdoor spaces. We will definitely stay here again!

I have stayed in dozens of rentals - and at least a dozen in the Hocking Hills area alone. NONE ARE BETTER!! This place checks all the boxes. Quiet, yet convenient to many great hikes. Clean and well maintained. Great hot tub, two outdoor porches, covered too - nothing like sitting through an afternoon storm. Pool table and dart board in the game room. Comfortable furniture, bed and bedding. Good water pressure. Kitchen utensils are ample and in good condition (I hate ruined skillets). Nicely decorated, but the decorations don’t interfere with ample counter space for us to spread out and get comfortable. Nice pond with dock and plenty of wildlife - deer and turkeys every day. That doesn’t even count the features we didn’t use. Like the fire place and pit.Thank you Ryan - your efforts are very much appreciated! Count on a return trip.

This property is stunning. If I could design the perfect vacation home, this would be it. Many times the pictures on this app are misleading. This is not the case here. Everything from the grill to the hot tub worked as expected. The furniture was comfortable. And most importantly the hosts were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was beyond cute and well set up. We loved the outdoor fire pit and the hot tub. We hiked approximately 6 miles a day and coming back to this home and having the hot tub to help relax us, was invaluable! The beds were probably some of the most comfortable beds I’ve had in a rental and I rent a lot of places. We had a minor incident with the air conditioning, but the host addressed it immediately and was great with the communication. We did a four night girls trip and both of my friends continually talked about how much they loved this place and the fact that it was just perfect.

Great place, clean, and had everything we needed to just get away. Fireplace was so relaxing.we had no complaints. Host was very helpful and prompt with any questions. Would definately go back!!
