Traditional Irish Stone Barn Cottage in Beautiful and Tranquil Countryside

WELCOME to Adare Irish Cottages which is situated just 3 km (2 miles) from the picturesque village of Adare and 14km (9 miles) from Limerick city, set in the heart of beautiful and tranquil Irish countryside.

This perfectly secluded Traditional Barn enjoys 2 large bedrooms, together with a well-appointed kitchen, delightful sitting-room and private grounds with lawns and fruit trees.

The Barn is available for rent throughout the year. Ideal for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with access to all amenities in the village of Adare. Adare is located just 40 minutes drive from Shannon airport.

A flower garden and courtyard enhance Summer enjoyment while the cosy interiors create a special atmosphere of warmth and comfort during the winter.

We are happy to book the Barn for extended family stays.

Access to your own orchard at the rear of the properties allows guests to relax and pick organic apples when in season. There is a large enclosed area all around the property which makes it very secure for children. Nearby, a working farm offers the opportunity to see farm animals and wildlife in their natural habitat. Access to the property is through security gates, for added peace of mind.

Adare has two superb golf courses including the championship Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort, which hosted the Irish Open in 2007 & 2008 and the world-famous Ballybunion Golf Course is only an hour s drive away. An excellent Pitch & Putt course is also located in Adare.

The cottage and surrounding farm were both absolutely beautiful. Our host David was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to all of our needs. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Adare Irish cottage. We would highly recommend this location.

Absolute Perfection!Our stay at this beautiful cottage was flawless from start to finish. The property itself is absolutely stunning, cozy, and immaculate.What truly made our trip unforgettable was our host, David. He was incredibly gracious, friendly, and accommodating throughout our entire stay.A special highlight was his dogs, Tate and Jake! They were the absolute best welcoming committee each day, and the kids completely loved them. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back!

David was a gracious host who met us at the cottage with his adorable terriers. A warm fire and pastries awaited our arrival. The location and amenities of the cottage with timeless decor and lovely artwork was perfect as our home base for day trips. We will return another time for sure! What a wonderful holiday. David and his family were very welcoming and helpful with excellent information about the local area and further afield. The cottage was everything we hoped for and more - an open fire, complete kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a historic building sympathetically renovated. And with two lively dogs who instantly befriended us. There was a very pleasant short walk on the farm, and many more challenging walks a short drive away. The Adare village had everything we needed for self catering and pubs / restaurants. Very highly recommended.

Perfect place for a getaway

Fantastic stay! David and his mom were great hosts, quick to respond to any requests. Very comfortable and a great jumping off point to explore southwestern Ireland. Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect location and property for us as a family of 4 during our first trip to Ireland. David was a great host, giving us recommendations for things to do in town and local sites to visit. The cottage itself was comfy and adorable, and my kids loved waking up to check on Jake and Ted (the dogs) and the cows on the farm. We will definitely come back to this place in the future!

Wonderful experience

David was a lovely host and this place is adorable! Very nice stay, despite us visiting during the worst storm in a decade (Eowyn) and the entire country losing power. David got us what we needed and the place was great.

The cottage was lovely, just as advertised. David, the host, met us on arrival. He was so welcoming and friendly. The best part of the day was returning home to the cottage after traveling around. We especially loved that the cottage is on David's farm. The sunrises were beautiful. We will miss the village of Adare and David's puppies who greeted us each day.

Beautiful Cottage

Adare is lovely town and this cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Close to town and comfortable. Joan and David were so welcoming, fresh scones waiting and quick responses if we needed anything. We loved it!

Absolutely adored this place!!! Cozy and warm, sweet touches like a homemade pie on our arrival, umbrella for our use, friendly farm animals, easy and quick communication with the owners. Every detail was seen to. So delightful. The window seat was my morning breakfast perch. Would have loved to stayed longer.

A Peaceful Retreat

The cottage is absolutely lovely, the property beautiful, the host superb! Communication was excellent throughout our stay. I fell and broke my leg on our travels and David was very accommodating and very concerned. Ted and Jake, two pups on the farm, made our stay even more special. Highly, highly recommend a stay here!
