A beautiful five-bedroom Provençal villa with a large private swimming pool, Mediterranean gardens and sea views, ideally located just minutes from the world-famous medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence on the French Riviera.

Set in peaceful La Colle-sur-Loup, the villa offers a rare combination of privacy, space and easy access to the best of the Côte d’Azur. Saint-Paul-de-Vence is just minutes away, while the beaches of the Mediterranean, Nice, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach. Nice Airport is conveniently less than 30 minutes away.

Designed for relaxed indoor-outdoor living, the villa features generous terraces, outdoor dining, a large private pool and a private boules court, all surrounded by mature Mediterranean gardens. With five air conditioned bedrooms and accommodation for up to nine guests, it is particularly well suited to families, extended families or two families holidaying together.

Spend mornings exploring the medieval streets and galleries of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, afternoons by your own private pool, and evenings dining outdoors overlooking the Provençal landscape towards the Mediterranean or in one of the excellent nearby restaurants.

The villa comprises; Five spacious ensuite bedrooms, 3 cloakrooms, beautiful scenic sitting areas on the large terrace, a large heated pool, a shaded furnished pool house with bar area and bbq, a boules court, a basement cinema room with table tennis which all make for the perfect vacation spot for family groups. Explore the olive grove, pick lemons, oranges or herbs depending on the season, look for the old shepard’s cavern.

There is an air-conditioned home office with fibre-optic WiFi and printer.

La Colle sur Loup is a beautiful and ancient local village with great restaurants and antique stores within walking distance. Only 20 minutes to the beach and sailing and motor yacht rentals in VilleNeuve Loubet, Le Clos des Vignes offers the best of all on offer in the Côte d’Azur. The world famous La Colombe D’Or restaurant is a must do in the next village, St. Paul de Vence- . The Maeght Art Foundation, Matisse chapel, Renoir’s home and Picasso museum in Antibes all make for fantastic cultural visits. The markets in Antibes, Vence and Nice are the an experience in themselves. Uber makes getting out about in the evenings very easy- although renting a car is advisable for day trips to the beach. The beach clubs in Juan Les Pins are the perfect base for seaside fun. The Monaco openair cinema is a fantastic family treat.

A truly fantastic property

Wow - this property has everything that you need for a perfect holiday. The views and the pool are majestic. The walk back from the village is ambitious after a good supper but an Uber is never more than 5 or so minutes away! We have stayed at a number of really good properties in the past but this is the best. We will return.

Fantastic Villa !

We had a fantastic week at the villa, the house and pool were even better than the pictures and we had everything we could wish for. Do need a car as up a steep hill from the nearby town. The local property manager, Coralie was also incredibly helpful, easily available and spoke very good English

France 2020

Without doubt the property delivers all that was promised. Set on the hills of La Colle-sur-Loupe, we experienced the magnificent views, beautiful setting, quietness of the neigborhood. At the same time, the hectic life is around the corner if you long for it. The weather was perfect so we stayed around the pool all the time, usually until late. The outside grill works perfect. But the best part is enjoying the long evenings on the terras. Inside the house offers all one needs. And of course, within 15 to 60 minutes you'll find five to ten great golf courses. Handy if you bring your five golfing sons over! On top of this all, we were allowed to bring our dogs to the house, which made the story complete. Highly recommended.

Great Place for Family with fantastic vies and facilities

We booked Clos des Vignesh for a week get together with the family. We were 9 persons, coming from US and India and wanted to see the surroundings around, as well as spend quality time together. The home provided was clean with plenty of space, and very nice outdoor area, also very peaceful/quiet area. The dining area outside was perfect for breakfasts and any meals we had at home. We were met by Corelia, the manager for the home, upon arrival and she showed us through the house very efficiently. The owner, Pamela, was available before and during the process, although we did not need to speak with her while staying at the villa. The cleaning staff were very helpful and did all they could do make our stay pleasant. We had hired a chef, recommended by Pamela, for our stay who was also very efficient and helpful. The outside area was beautifully maintained, and the pool was clean. This was an area we used a lot after long day sight seeing. Overall, highly recommend this property.

Dream Holiday

Our family gathered at this fabulous villa with spectacular views. The villa is even better than the photos. The property with beautiful vistas was perfect for playing petanque, cups, ping pong, or lounging by the pool. The hosts thought of every detail. The villa was charming and everyone had his/her own suite. The one thing I would change is to add air conditioning to the main salon/living area. The rooms have A/C but no where else and it got quite hot. Other than that, I highly reommend this villa, and I would definately return.

A Beautiful South of France experience

A truly beautiful and authentic property idyllically located with stunning valley and distant sea views. Location near beautiful local village and proximity to St Paul allows for privacy, access to culture and one can avoid the craziness of traffic in other South of France locations particularly at this time of year. Villa beautifully appointed with a fabulous pool and ideal for family groups or close friends. A real treat to stay in.

Heavenly long weekend

We booked Clos des Vignesh for my 50th birthday for a group of 10 of us. I had such high expectations and all were met. Pamela the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, nor corralled at check in. The setting was stunning, easy distance from Nice with a huger supermarket on route. Restaurants in St Paul de Venice were glorious and Uber very efficient. The pool was amazing, the rooms, beautiful, very tranquil, secluded and just stunning. Couldn’t fault it! We were asked for negative feedback on leaving and all we could think of was that we had to top the pool up one morning to stop the filter from gurgling! Hardly an issue!

Spacious and beautiful

We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful home. Our two families of five had plenty of room, and we cooked in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen several times and enjoyed eating outside on the patio. It is centrally located to visit several key locations on the French Riviera, including Nice and Monaco.

Breathtakingly beautiful villa in superb location

We had the most wonderful stay here in Colle-Sur-Loup. The villa was exactly as described and as per pictures: absolutely breathtaking. Great outdoor space with incredible sea views and gorgeous pool area. It has lots of different terraces and seating areas to relax in and soak up the sun. The house itself is chic and stylishly finished with plenty of space for a large family plus guests. The bedrooms are spread over 3 floors which is fantastic from a privacy point of view while entertaining guests. We loved that the property is so private and yet it is so close to everything. It’s secluded enough to unwind but it’s a stones throw from Colle Sur Loup, St. Paul de Vence and Nice with easy access to some of the best spots on the French Riviera. St. Paul de Vence is a charming town with gorgeous restaurants, shops and art galleries. The village of Colle Sur Loup also has some wonderful restaurants worth going to. Overall, I would definitely recommend this villa. It’s luxurious and spacious, has a superb location and the owners were a delight to deal with.

For more than a decade we have spent our summers on the Riviera. The area around St Paul de Vence kept drawing us back. An ancient walled town on the hills above the Riviera, the area provided us with the peace and beauty that was the perfect antidote to our city life and the busyness of the Mediterranean coast. Most Sundays you will find us at lunch at the world famous La Colombe D’Or, a restaurant where you share your environment with artworks from Picasso, Matisse, Miro and many more. Most mornings we play tennis at our local tennis club with the tennis professional Sebastian who helps us work off any indulgences. When we’re feeling active there is kayaking in the cool mountain waters of the river Loup five minutes away or we head further up to go canyoning with our kids.

We also love boats and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Our local Marina is a 25 minute drive away and you will often find us on a small motor boat exploring the beach clubs of St Tropez, traveling to hard to find beaches in Ventimelia in Italy (only an hour away) or exploring the beautiful village of VilleFranche-sur-Mere.

After a decade renting we discovered Le Clos des Vignes. As soon as we saw it we knew it would be part of our family’s journey. The villa has a unique position over a conservation area with sweeping views of the Mediterranean with all day sun. The land has featured an olive grove for centuries and we now harvest our own virgin olive oil from nearly 50 ancient olive trees. We have restored the house in the past year which now feautures all the comforts that we sometimes missed when we rented other houses. All beds and linen are top quality and new. There is good internet and the whole house is wired with a Sonos system including the pool house where we spend many evenings barbecuing and drinking rose by the oversized pool.
