Our two story home is wonderful spot for your family to create lasting memories. A great family home for reunions with Grandparents, children and grandchildren, your group of friends or just your family. Complete with two kitchens in the upper level and lake level. In the summer enjoy all the lake activities, bonfires, walking paths, bird watching, boating and fishing. In the winter watch snowmobilers, ice fisherman and wildlife.

Our fully remodeled home has 4 bedrooms, 1 is a master suite with his and her sinks, walk in shower and jacuzzi tub. The gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There is everything you need to create a delicious meal including dishes, utensils and all cookware. The kitchen, dining and living room are all one big space. The dining tables can accommodate up to 12.

4 Flat screen TV’s can be found in most rooms with Wifi, streaming TV

Fantastic family getaway

The house is very easy to get to from the airport for those flying in. The home is very well furnished and well maintained but not overly fancy in any way. My nephews really enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayak, and everybody enjoyed the paddle boards. The town center of Prior Lake is only 5 minutes away, and it has a great coffee shop/bakery, brewery, and ice cream. There is a farmers market on Saturdays, and a really nice (new) park with walking trails just down the road from the house. There was something for everybody. The whole family really enjoyed their stay here.

A family perfect lakeside view! Warm, cozy, spacious, and comfortable.

From making the reservation to checking out, all expectations were exceeded. It's a beautiful property in a small lake community about 30 minutes outside Minneapolis. We were in the area for a family wedding. The host was very helpful and communications were easy. We plan to stay here again the next time we visit family in the area.

Beautiful Eagles Nest - Minn

Eagles Nest was a wonderful property. Our family of 7 were in Minn for a wedding and the stay here was our highlight. The house had everything we needed and more. Very family friendly and clean. The location and view were amazing. Vicki was so very helpful and accommodating to our requests. Her home was exactly what we were looking for. We even had other family over for dinner and it was their highlight as well. I would definitely recommend staying here, and will book here again when in Minn.

Fun Family Getaway

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful waterfront home. It was a great location with all the amenities we could want. The home is very spacious with a large backyard lawn. The pontoon, paddle boards, and Lily Pad provide plenty of options for fun on the lake.

Birthdays and Anniversary

We love going to Eagles Nest. This was our 5th year at this property to celebrate our grandkids birthdays and our 40th anniversary. The grandkids enjoyed the sand and water. A great time was had by all of us.

Minnesota Family Christmas

Outstanding property! Worth every penny. We needed additional lodging for our family during the holidays and this was a great stay. Clean and Cozy. Our host even had a decorated tree and holiday decor spread throughout. Many evening gatherings around the fireplace. Spacious, open living space with a great kitchen. We'll have to come back for the summer sometime to take full advantage of the beautiful lake.

"Nest" for wedding

We did have issues with using the gas grill but, overall, the property was great. The kitchen was very large and well equipped and we used the outdoor space several times. We would definitely recommend the property.

Wonderful lake retreat

Wow! Our family had the best time gathering here. Communication was excellent and the property even offered space to park our motorhome. Grandkids joined us from just minutes away and loved the opportunity to splash in the lake. There were water toys, paddle boards, etc. Vicky has done a marvelous job of creating a welcoming, beautiful home with plenty of room to spread out. A little rain just meant time to gather in the well appointed kitchen to pitch in and put to use family recipes for everything from meatballs to popsicles. All were enjoyed out on the spacious deck. Our daughter said it’s like your favorite aunt let you borrow her cool lake house. We’re already booked for next year.

Vacation 2023

We celebrated our grandson’s birthday, and our anniversary during our 2 week stay. Our family enjoyed the beautiful backyard for games. Lake time was enjoyed on the pontoon, lily pad and floaties.

Another great visit!

This was the second time we stayed here and this year was as good as last year. The home and property are well kept up and very welcoming. We cooked all our meals here and the kitchen is spacious enough that we weren’t crowded. We enjoyed using the pontoon, kayak and paddle boards. The deck and patio provide close up views of the lake.

Fantastic Vacation!

The house was amazing! Every little detail was thought of and far exceeded our expectations! We had 11 people (4 generations) stay at the house and everyone of us had a great time! The house is beautiful and very well stocked. From the kitchen to the water and sand toys, the house had everything. We will definitely be staying here again!

Home Away from Home

Vicki is an incredible host and property manager. A host who has every detail covered and is incredibly generous with everything she shares with her guests. I am confident future guests will be pleasantly surprised. We all felt as if we were staying in our own home. Amazing! The home exceed every expectation due to Vicki’s interior design, comfortable seating and beds, and chairs and tables to easily host a group for dinner. The entire property is managed and cared for better than any professionally managed property. Personal touches everywhere. Vicki is an inspiration! If you are fortunate enough to stay here you will want to go back. Already booked for next summer❤️. The lake was clear and accommodating for fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. A lake paradise. Convenient to grocery, restaurants and even a movie theatre. Airport is a quick 30 minutes. Walking trails around the corner. Vicki ensures the beach is perfectly maintained. As previous lakehome owners, my husband and I appreciated everything about this property. Sunsets, full moon over the lake, loons, birds, flowers, cool breeze…

Excellent winter stay

My family including 4 adults and two small children stayed at this residence and we could not have been happier. The property is clean, fully stocked with wonderful comfortable bedding , towels , everything you could need in the kitchen. The owner even has toys on shelves for children who may come to stay. Upon arrival the house was warm and inviting. A day after arriving our host stopped by with delicious welcome cookies and answered any questions. She truly made us feel welcome and at home. Thank you for everything.

Enjoy Lake and Metro

We booked this place for 5 days in September to serve as our base of operations for our daughter's wedding in the Twin Cities. We hosted several family and friends from 17 states over the period and everyone commented on the lovely home and beautiful setting on the lake. Close enough to the metro, airport, etc. and yet still felt quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

Family Vacation

Great house, great view. Vicki had lots of toys, inside and outside, for the kids. We caught fish off the dock, went for pontoon rides and had a bonfire.

Great family Fun

Had a great time with our children and grandchildren! Everything we needed was there including games, kitchen, and lake equipment. Covered lower deck was great to sit and watch the lake. Even had a small “beach” for sand play, Bring water shoes for wading or swimming close to shore. Vicki is friendly and helpful.

When became Empty Nester's we decided to move to a more serene setting. Spring Lake in Prior Lake was just a perfect location. Close to our sons and their families and everything a big city has to offer yet on the outskirts. My husband and I spent many hours remodeling until it was perfect. After his passing I have decided to share this beautiful setting with others. I grew up on an Iowa farm and believe in sharing what I have been blessed with. It gives me great joy to meet my guests, hear their stories of family /friend gatherings and reunions. Just enjoy a special time together away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, with a beautiful relaxing view of the water. I look forward to hosting you and hearing your story.

The best thing about this property is location, location, location.
You can have a lake vacation yet only be a short 30 min. from downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul and all a big city has to offer. When you enter the home you have sweeping views of the lake. It is set up great for entertaining... two outdoor patios, a large back yard for games and complete with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. For the sports minded I have 4 TV's so you don't miss the big play. There is a small boat garage filled with backyard games, paddle boards, Lilly pad, fire pit, fishing gear, sand pile for the little ones and much more.
My personal pontoon is available for an additional daily rate for those with boating experience.
I will only be a short distance away and available for any questions or needs you may have.
