We were a large family group and really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was great, and there was enough space for everyone to sit at the table and counter. With both the kitchen and living room as spaces to hang out, it was very comfortable. Of course we had more than two cars, and it was a little challenging to find street parking nearby for the cars that didn't fit in the garage/driveway. The hot tub was running, and lots of us enjoyed it. Two people slept in the walkout basement. The first night was extremely cold in that room, because we had not discovered the baseboard heaters. It would probably be a good idea to point those out more explicitly. After we found them, that room (which does have three beds -- bunkbed and sofabed) was completely comfortable. It's a little weird with all the bathrooms being ensuites, so that whoever stays in the basement has to go into someone else's bedroom to take a shower, but we knew that at the start. There is at least a half bath in the basement. Beautiful views from the windows, and a pleasant location in Canmore (15 min to walk downtown). All in all, a fabulous place that worked well for our purposes.
