BEAUTIFUL BAY FRONT VIEW

Welcome to Betterton Beach, “Jewel” of the Chesapeake, Eastern Shore of Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay. Spacious second and third floor condo (2500') with fantastic views of the Bay.
Enjoy your morning coffee from the 2nd and 3rd floor decks overlooking the bay. Swim and sun at the beach, sunsets are amazing! Public dock available for boating and fishing from the pier.

A great community for bike riding and sunset walks. Explore surrounding areas, just a short drive to Historic Chestertown (free outdoor concerts on weekends), fishing in Rock Hall, both offer shopping, dining, and coastal culture. An all year-round area to take advantage of the Eastern Shore Wildlife, bald eagles, osprey and blue herons.

1st Level- 2 bedroom, open area with kitchen, dining table and large family room for relaxing. 1-large king bedroom, which can be split into 2 twins. 2nd room has a queen size bed. 1st floor also has full size bathroom. Both family room and large bedroom room have slider onto deck.

2nd Level- Large loft with 50" TV, sleeper sofa, Master queen bedroom with full size bathroom and deck off slider. Although we have Netflix, we do not have cable TV. This year we add a game table for family game night.

WiFi and central air, community pool.

Need a relaxing getaway? Enjoy our spacious condo with beautiful Bay view’s! Come for a visit anytime of the year, you won’t be disappointed.

Please be advised- our children are all grown so our home is NOT child proof for small children. Please reference photos (open stairs) and bring the proper child safety products to ensure your child's safety.

Cal Ripken Stadium- although a search shows we are only 12 miles away, it is actually over an hour drive by car around the bay.

We went back again

2020 was our first visit to this property for our girls getaway. We enjoyed the house and Betterton Beach so much, we went back again for our 2021 getaway! House is nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious and clean! Hope to return for our 2022 getaway.

Great Stay/Wonderful View

The view is amazing. Easy access to the small beach area. The condo is so nicely decorated and has a very well equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Just a couple of things that would be on the negative side, no washcloths, 1st floor bathroom and bedrooms did not have a trash can, and., unfortunately, one of the bedspreads was dirty as well. The positives so outweighed the couple little negatives. We want to return for our ladies weekend next year!

Perfection!

We had never heard of Betterton Beach, and merely were looking for a relatively close vacation with cool, comfortable swimming, clean, attractive accommodations, in a quiet but warm community. We hit the jackpot on all counts! We felt very fortunate that we found the Cassidy’s listing and decided to check out the “Gem of the Chesapeake”. The public beach was clean, free, and while not crowded, was enjoyed by many families young and old! The community pool was also a short walk, very clean, and virtually empty! We loved the local restaurants - Barbara’s on the Bay and Molly’s, and also drove a little farther to Rock Hall to enjoy Waterman’s Crab place. We came home refreshed and happy!

Views for days

From the moment you step into the unit you are impressed (even more than all the time you spent looking at the pictures online). If its views you want, this is the place for you. While most of our time was spent outside on the deck (large) or the beach (so close and convenient not to have to drive) being in the unit was just as relaxing. The breeze coming off the water will calm even the most stressed person. Geordip was a pleasure to speak with and communication was never an issue. One thing to note which is minor, while you don't go here for the TV, there is only Netflix / Prime available (no cable box). By no means a big deal but just a heads up. It was actually a nice change of pace for us and forced you to enjoy the outdoors even more. ***Also, given the times we live in currently the cleanliness/attention to detail of the place will put you at ease***

Perfect Location

My husband and friend were participating in a shoot at Hopkins Game Farm and this was a perfect location. We greatly enjoyed the view and the accommodations. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home!

The house has everything to make your stay comfortable! The condo was absolutely spotless. I was very impressed! The location for the beach is only a few steps away and the pool was great. The place was just right for my family and children. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A gem

Clean, quiet, lovely, welcoming space with gorgeous views of the bay and easy access to Betterton beach and public pier where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. It was a treat to see many shore birds from the condo and outdoor deck. Our family was very comfortable during our stay, and Geordy was responsive at every step. Our only recommendation is to inform renters that washcloths are not provided among the linens/towels that are available. What a delight to stay in this open, relaxing space!

Relaxing Vacation!

Perfect place for our family of 4 to spend some time together and relax. We enjoyed the beach, pool and of course the fantastic deck and views. Kitchen has everything you need, and Geordy was a communicative and responsive host. Couldn't have asked for more. Hope to come back again in the future.

Relaxing

Thank you George for a beautiful place. I picked this place first off for the view and it was gorgeous. And there were two decks to enjoy it. This is 2 floors with open floor plan so it really is so spacious. The pool and bay beach are literally just steps away. My teen girls got some amazing sunset pics. I like to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed. But one day I brought home Maryland crabs from Clark's just down the road, who steamed and seasoned them to go. We did try 2 local restaurants. Barb on the Bay is practically in our backyard with great food and service, and then we visited Kitty Knight with outside dining overlooking the marina with beautiful sunsets and food. This rental was very clean and decorated nicely. Lots of empty cabinets and space to put our "stuff". I forgot my blow dryer and was to happy to find one supplied for us. George has thought of everything, even lots of board games in the upstats loft. We had alot of fun. I would highly recommend this place.

Great views in sleepy little town

A perfect place to disconnect and relax. Wonderful views of sunrise and sunset. Nice accommodations and great owners. Had a lovely time away from the daily grind!

Quiet vacation gem

Had a great time at George and Debbie's condo in Betterton Beach. Location is perfect, views are spectacular, condo is clean, roomy, and well stocked. George and Debbie are very responsive to questions and extremely accommodating. (and thank you for the bottle of wine!). We had a very enjoyable week and look forward to staying at your condo again in the future.

Best view and access at Betterton Beach

This condo is so spacious and well cared for, and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable we slept through the night. The A/C saved us from the heat. The view from the deck was incredible. We sat there as much as we could. We had all the little things you need for when you first arrive there. Geordy was very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. We had coffee on the dock, watched the sunset from a chartered sail boat with Captain Mark, sat on the beach, swam in the private pool, ate at Twinny’s, 98 cannon, Watermans crab house, Molly’s, Beverleys family restaurant and Luisas’ (enjoyed all of them). Finally ate soft shell crab two ways. We made the most of our 5 days and really enjoyed our home away from home, thank you Geordy and Deb for welcoming us and for making the place feel so welcoming.

Perfect Isolation

This property is located in a nice quiet community that is perfect for getting away from the hustle an bustle. The condo is wonderful and has all of the amenities that a family could need. The beach is close by and was never crowded and we had the only boat in the transient slips. Communication with George was easy, as a matter of fact we accidentally left a few items on departure and he had them sent to us immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to get away.

Immaculate & Charming

The property is exactly as described & located with gorgeous bay views. It's the cleanest place we have ever stayed in & the owner was incredibly helpful with all our questions & very quick to respond to messages. Great location with regards to the beach & pool in such a charming, sleepy little town.

Wedding weekend beauty!!!

Lovely Stay

Lovely property with large open living room and bedrooms. Great views of the water and a nice assortment of items in the kitchen to use. Kudos to the owners for leaving empty space in kitchen cabinets for us to put our own food items in--very appreciated! The owner was quick to answer questions when we had them. We plan to return next year!

A perfect respite

We loved our time at this property. It was exactly what we were looking for especially in time of COVID. The home was clean and kitchen well equipped. The beach was easy to access and quiet and was great for water sports. Biking in the area was great! Can’t wait to return!!!!

A quiet get away

Our group of six were looking for a close get away . We were looking for water and time to hangout with one another. This place did all that! We had water views and the community was quiet. We swam in the bay and the swimming pool. We hung out in the deck during happy hour. It was a great time to hang with friends!

Great, relaxing stay at this condo

the condo was spacious, clean, comfortable. Great location on the bay. We really enjoyed the view. Relaxing 3 day getaway from DC. We took bike rides, went to the Nature Reserve, and very much enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views!

Incredible! As soon as you walk in, you see water from every angle. The condo was the perfect size, clean, and just amazing. The town is adorable and tiny so bring what you’ll need but the quiet is so worth it. So lucky to have found Geordy and Debbie’s Betterton gem.
