Welcome to The Driftwood Hideaway on Magician Lake, the most popular lake to vacation on in Southwest Michigan

Pontoon available for rent at our dock.

Magician Lake is an All Sports Lake and the most desirable lake to be on in the Sister Lakes area. We have 83ft of lakefront on an inlet which includes 3 Kayaks, Paddle Boat and a Water Pad. Fish or swim right off our dock.

This home has a Rustic Beach theme with vaulted ceilings, decorative support beams stained in dark walnut and custom woodwork throughout. New porch area dressed in Knotty Pine overlooking the Lake.

We installed a Firepit right above the dock, so you feel like you’re on top of the water when roasting those marshmallows. Firewood provided.

Home includes:
* Firepit lakeside with firewood
* 2 Kayaks
* Lily pad for the kids to play with on the water
* Paddle boat
* Weber Genesis BBQ Grill

Check in and check out times vary depending on the season so please message me for more info

Breweries, Restaurants, Wineries and Golf courses are nearby. Lake Michigan is 25 minutes away in St Joseph. This home is in high demand because of the location and being on Magician Lake. Please message me before booking your dates.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home with high end features for a comfortable stay. Access to kayaks and paddle boat which the kids loved. Fishing wasn’t great, we didn’t catch a thing. If you have pets and like to travel with them, this isn’t the place for you. Neighbors are not friendly and don’t like dogs. If you are traveling just as a family, it’s a nice place to stay. Great campfire spot, great hiking nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

Great Family Rental

Fabulous time. Many water accessories offered which made it very enjoyable for our kiddos. Bring your fishing poles!! One of my kiddos pulled out 28 fish just from the dock! Super quiet back on the channel. Kitchen fully stocked and very clean! Downsides : No washclothes for showers. Bring your own. No ladder to climb out of water onto dock. No chairs at firepit. NO DATA and very weak wifi. Other than the few downsides which are minor other than the wifi it is a fabulous house and location. We would 100% come back! We cooked and grilled breakfast and lunch at the house while we were there but ate dinner one night at The Strand (make reservations if you want to eat outside) which was absolutely fabulous and we also ate at Sisters Brewery. Food was more simplistic but very good as well. Both had live music which was nice. My kiddos enjoyed ice cream from Driftwoods.

Rain? Didn’t stop us!

Another wonderful week trip to Sisters Lake. Since day 1 of booking this house, Bill has been very professional and very communicative as to what amenities the house offered and anything that we might need to be more comfortable. The electricity went out on day one. No biggie! Bill was very proactive and honest as to when the power will return. Didn’t bother us at all! We appreciated his openness and communication and still had a wonderful time on the boat. The teens loved fishing off the pier and paddle boarding around the coves. We will definitely return!
