Leanin K is a 5 bedroom/3.5 bath that sleeps 18 people and has an open concept floor plan giving you plenty of room to enjoy each others company. Leanin K has a large kitchen perfect for hosting a crowd of eighteen people. Leanin K has a pool and hot tub with a large outdoor patio space. This cabin is located on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove with 20+ years of five star hospitality in the Kingsland area. Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Fun Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 14 had a great time at the Leanin K Cabin for a 3 day weekend. Very clean and spacious, comfortable beds, with plenty of kitchen utensils for any cooking you might want to do. Our favorite thing was the pool, nice size for all 14, plus a kiddie pool and hot tub with water falls! Plus, you have free access to a beach with kayaks and paddle boards. We also rented a pontoon for a 4 hour lake excursion. All in all, it was wonderful family time, and we will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway for a friends 40th Celebration

Everything about this property was amazing inside and out! All of the proper appointments were available and we really only needed our food, beverage and fun! The pool and hot tub were incredible, the covered patio area was so great to hang out and play games! We will be coming back!

Property as advertised with plenty of room to spread out

Property was excellent. 5 bedrooms were exactly what we needed to spread out. Outdoor scene was great, pool was fantastic and stayed refreshing even on the 100+ degree days. We set up water volleyball which worked great for our group. If I were to nitpick I'd say that the outdoor pavilion (which was awesome) was a little disjointed from the pool area. If the pavilion was combined with the fireplace area it would have been incredible. Nonetheless, it was all enjoyable and did not lack for amenities or cleanliness. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Our stay at Leanin' K was not up to par for Log Country Cove

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our group's 9th or 10th year at LCC, at least our 5th at Leanin' K. The staff is always wonderful, but the house itself left much to be desired. It is in serious need of general maintenance and a thorough cleaning. We provided a list of some of the specifics when we checked out. We'll be staying at a different house next year.

New Year Celebration

We also started to have a leak in ceiling in kitchen due to the upstairs bathroom not being properly sealed around bath tub. And needs a serious paint inside especially bathrooms. But overall a nice place would I go back absolutely.

We stayed at the Leaning K which is set atThe back of the property next to busy road. We didn’t like the location as well. The pool was fabulous and we used it constantly. The house was clean and well stocked but overall needs some updating greatly. Couches were leaning back and we were worried they would break. Just overall updates all over. Water pressure was very low in kitchen area. We had a few things that needed to be fixed while we were there and they were prompt to get those things done which we appreciate. Overall a very fun time. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

A fantastic getaway without leaving the state

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two families split this awesome property for 4 days. It was a great experience. Everything from signing in to checking out was streamlined and efficient. We spent the first day hiking the local trails and ending up back at Leanin K playing in the pool. Second day we went to longhorn caverns, and ended up back playing in the pool. Third day we rented a very nice pontoon boat from LogCountryCove, and spent the day on lake LBJ. Then ended up back in the pool. Was extremely relaxing and an overall great stay! Where we were was very secluded and we rarely saw or heard other people unless we wanted to. Overall we all had a fantastic time.The only nit, and it's a minor one, is the property is beginning to show some wear (wood for back door is starting to rot, etc) This happens with any rental place, and with how little time there is between checkout and check-in, I'm not surprised they haven't had time to fix it.

Discards from Owner's primary residence

Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay because we were there for my mom's 75th birthday celebration with my brother and his family. However, the house was not very clean at all. I understand the houses are turned fast, but more attention to detail must be taken. Our mattress pad was stained and it was gross. Completely gross.This house seems like it is just full of sloppy seconds and discards from the owner's primary residence. the sheets are threadbare and don't even stay on the bed. The elastic is shotThe kitchen -- WOW - the pots and pans were completely disgusting with the teflon shipping off. If you are planning to eat all of your meals in then this is not the place to stay. We are a family of cooks and we LOVE to cook and eat in. The three of us in the kitchen is what we love. The stove was awful -- it took forever to heat up and didn't even cook the food properly. Thank goodness our family knows that we really can cook!! The kitchen was not as clean as it could've been. Mom and I washed all of the cookware and dishes when we got there and cleaned the countertops too. Only 1 TV for the whole house? And basic cable? Really? For the amount you charge? The other TV's were so old it was a joke (I'm not even counting them) We loved the hiking and hanging out outside and the location of the resort, but the inside of the house was really not up to the standard to reflect what you charge.

Room and Fun for Reunion

Reviewer Comments: Our total reunion group at Log Country Cove was around 35 adults and kids with grandparents, parents, teens, tweens, toddlers, and a baby. Leanin K has room inside and out to seat a large group for meals. Pool area also is nice for large, mixed age group with kiddie pool area, large pool, and hot tub. Game room inside is a good space with ping pong, other games. Bedroom and bath space were good for our group staying in cabin of 2 couples, grandmother, and 4 teens. Kitchen is roomy and has two refrigerators. We had a golf cart since cabin is up from the river. Activities at the river are fun and varied. Our whole group enjoyed the special 4th activities -- t-shirt toss, rope swing contest, and snow cone/ice cream truck. It was easy to launch and tie up our boats along inlet where some of our group had cabins. Inlet area was also good for pole fishing with kids, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Rentals for kayaks, etc. are convenient. Customer service on phone and in person was friendly and helpful. We toured Longhorn Cavern one afternoon for a cool activity out of heat. Tour guide was great. Kids even teens enjoyed sifting for rock and minerals activity. Grocery stores like HEB, Walmart etc. are all close. Some of our group took boat down the river to drive up restaurant and liked it. Our group picked up pizza, barbecue, a taco meal at local places. All were good. River was crowded over the 4th of July weekend but cleared during the week. Water is cool and clean. Watch out for the surfing boats with big waves and wakes. In Leanin K upstairs baths and downstairs half bath need some new fixtures. Kitchen supplies need a check up. Second coffee maker was slow and carafe not the right height for maker so couldn't use. Overall, a good place for a big group reunion.
