Great location with walking in town. Loved the river access and shade. Kitchen well stocked with coffee, tea, supplies
wonderful spider that we observed for a few days on the porch. Deer walked across the road to the river too .
Great spot for exploring in the river.

Adirondack getaway

Wonderful hosts, wonderful location with a true Adirondack feel. So clean and the kitchen was great for cooking. We look forward to a return visit.

Great cottage in the heart of town

Super easy process and perfect space for our family of four with plenty of room to spare. Everything was clean, well stocked and a perfect location. We are already planning our next time here.

Great location for a first time visitor to Keene Valley

We loved this property! It was located walking distance from main things in Keene Valley and was a short drive to top hiking trails. The property was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely come back!

Very Clean and Homey

Our stay was very comfortable. It was clean and spacious for the 5 of us. It is right in town, so groceries, the diner, the playground, and the library were all within a comfortable walk We definitely recommend this property.

The cottage was perfect for our needs.

The property manager Carrie was friendly and very responsive. The cottage was well stocked and comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants, stores and parks, and the hiking trails we targeted were easily accessible to us by a short car ride.

Relaxing cottage

Property was immaculate and felt like home. Very comfortable feel. If you’re looking for a remote cottage on a hallmark type town this is it.

Great holiday weekend

The cottage was perfect for our family with three young children. It was very clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. George was an excellent host. Plan to return!

Hiking/climbing trip

I was very impressed with the property. Very clean, plenty of plates, dishes and glasses. Showers all worked well. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Perfect cottage for an Adirondack getaway

The Phelps cottage was perfectly appointed. We had every thing we would’ve needed in the kitchen. The location was wonderful and there was outdoor porch seating in both the front and the back of the house. There were multiple wildlife sightings and access to the river right behind. The property. I would definitely stay here again. It is a wonderful property and a great location with access to Lake Placid, Adirondack, trails, water, adventures, And many winter activities.

Wonderful home

We immediately felt at home in this cottage. It is close to all the restaurants and stores in town and you can climb Baxter directly from cottage if you are looking to go hiking Enjoy

Perfect location for a High Peaks hiking get away

The Phelps Cottage was a perfect location for our hiking weekend. George offered excellent guidance/affirmation about our hiking plan. The amenities were abundant and aligned with our group needs and objective of our stay (washer/dryer, multiple bathrooms, spaces for a group to spread out, kitchen ideal for group food prep). The cottage is clean, cozy and appointed with updated appliances. George and Laurie are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely return!
