KNOT VERY LODGE, Oceanfront Home, Rockaway Beach, OR.

Knot Very Lodge is a well kept, cozy oceanfront home. It has spectacular views of the ocean, and beach, from the living room, kitchen and dining areas.
While we do not have air conditioning our home is well ventilated...The climate is mild, so an a/c is not needed.
Knot Very Lodge offers 2 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. We have a queen in the Master, a Double in the 2nd bedroom. There is a Double Bunk in the bonus room. Great for kids.
The home is oceanfront which offers 30 x 12' ocean facing deck with chairs and large picnic/dining table.
There is a path just off the deck that leads you to the rock steps to the beach.
Rockaway Beach offers 7 miles of arguably, the best beach in Oregon. It's the best in our opinion, but then we're a little biased. It's perfect for anything beach fun can offer, from walking/beach combing, running, flying kites, tossing Frisbee's or Beachcombing.
KVL is located just a mile north of Rockaway Beach city center and across Hwy. 101 from Lake Lytle, where you can fish for stocked trout from the fishing dock.
KVL is located just 12 mile south of Manzanita, 30 miles south of Cannon Beach and only 16 miles north of Tillamook and the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
KVL is well equipped, as it is our home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, glassware, etc.
It has an oven, a microwave, a toaster, two coffee makers with one being a Keurig. It has a small dishwasher.
Most of our customers are repeat customers but we thought we would list it with VRBO to build our clientele base. We think you will find it to be a well cared for, cozy and clean and very relaxing home to spend time in.
The living room has TV with Cable TV and a DVD Player.

It is also dog friendly for a well behaved, house broken, dog.

This property was everything we hoped for. Access to the beach was so easy, the home was clean and the street was quiet. An absolutely peaceful and serene getaway. The hosts were very welcoming and had great communication prior to our arrival. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Our third visit and all was just what we needed. We had mixed weather with plenty of opportunities to walk on the beach, and a big storm that kept us cozy by the wood stove watching the waves come in

The view was fabulous and the weather was great! The kitchen had all we needed and the accommodations were good. We did, however, get chilled sitting inside. The heat register in the living room was on high and slow to warm and the fire stove didn’t seem to be connected nor could we find instructions for the model. All in all, we had a lovely time.

Yes, everything was lovely. The third bedroom was a little disappointing as it was kind of chilly out there and the three of us are older people, but I would definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality.

Something for everyone! If you're energetic, there's lots of beach for jogging/walking. If you have difficulty walking, or are just lazy, there are lovely views from the deck and firepit. If the weather is stormy, sit by the wood stove and enjoy awesome views out the floor to ceiling windows.

Fantastic view

This property was very clean, well stocked, and had a great location with a 24 hour view of the beach. The master bed was very comfortable, and over all a great weekend getaway for me, my husband and our dog.

Lovely get-away with incredible views!

This is a cozy little retreat home, RIGHT on the ocean! We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely go back again. The owner was incredibly responsive, and our stay was definitely a TEN!

We grew up in Tacoma, Wa. We moved to the Portland area in 1979 and being an ocean lover, we spent many weekends at the North Oregon coast, fishing, beachcombing, hiking, etc. In 1990 we bought Knot Very Lodge from the gentleman who built the home in 1977. We absolutely love our home away from home, and really enjoy sharing it with others looking for a great beach/coastal getaway.
Most of our customers are repeat customers who have found KVL to be a very cozy, and comfortable "cabin."
We have just listed it on VRBO as of January 2019, to broaden our reach. As you will see, the summer months are already filling up but there are plenty of open dates this Spring and next Fall / Winter.
We hope you will give us a try, as we're quite sure you will have a very enjoyable stay at Knot Very Lodge.
It sits right on the beach with a pathway to the beach, just off the Oceanside deck.

Rockaway Beach is, as we refer to it, "authentic Oregon coast." We're located only 16 miles North of Tillamook and 30 miles South of Cannon Beach. Manzanita is only 13 mile North of Rockaway Beach.
Our home is located 9 blocks north of the City Center, and our home being oceanfront, sits literally on the edge of the Pacific Coast.
