This was our second stay at the property, and we enjoyed another fun family getaway! Despite the unusually low pond levels, the fishing was excellent. We caught some huge catfish and several nice-sized bass. We also caught an enormous sterile grass carp, which was quite a sight!The upstairs AC wasn’t cooling properly when we arrived, but the owner was very responsive and quickly arranged for repairs, which we appreciated.Although the low water levels prevented us from fishing directly off the cabin patio like we enjoyed during our first visit, we still had plenty of opportunities to fish around the property. Overall, we made some wonderful family memories, and we’d happily come back for a third stay!

The cabin is private, the view and wildlife were peaceful, we had all we needed for our short stay. The host gave accurate check-in instructions and directions, the cabin was clean. A friend and i were in town for Canton Trade Days, we liked we had two separate apartments with everything we needed, short 10-15 min drive into Canton and well away from all the traffic and congestion.

The stay here was picture perfect, I loved the look of the school house and the antique looking stove and the school chair in the front of house with the bell at top of the house. The place was clean and serene. A quiet commune with nature. We saw fish but did not fish, we walked the property many places to explore really enjoyed the peace and quiet and mornings looking out over water with a light fog. A very nice place to get away from it all.

What a Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

My husband of 20 years and I had the best time at this cabin. It was so relaxing, the fishing was great, and the decor was phenomenal. It really was the perfect anniversary getaway!

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful property, will stay here again. Owner was excellent with communication and made sure we had all we needed. Very successful stay and my husband and son enjoyed the fishing tremendously.

So organized by the owners. This was an amazing experience for our family. The cabin was so clean up and downstairs. Such a calming atmosphere to be at. We will definitely be back!!!!

Family Vacation

If you’re looking for a family vacation rental, this is the place. There are plenty things to do on the property, including fishing, outdoor games, barbecue, out door fire pit, picnics or just going on a nature walk. We took full advantage of everything the property has to offer. Looking forward to booking our next vacation day.
