Your Grande Ronde Vacation Rental in Troy Oregon offers a home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and two twins in the guest room. The living room offers a sleeper sofa for another two people.
The kitchen is full size with a refrigerator/ice maker, full oven/range and a dishwasher. The dining area is off of the kitchen and seats up to 4 people.
In the living area you have access to a work desk and a coat closet. The living room offers a nice cozy wood fireplace which heats the house on those cold evenings during the fall and winter months. You will also enjoy TV and Internet services while you are there.
The wrap around deck allows viewing the Grande Ronde River float by while enjoying dinner or a drink and some great conversation.
You are just steps away from the Grande Ronde River and all it has to offer. Fishing, rafting, kayaking and more. Nature abounds in and around Troy. You might see mountain goats, eagles, elk, mule deer, osprey and much more. The many hiking trails offer many adventures for your pleasure.
We are not handicapped accessible, the area is too remote and rugged. If you need any assistance physically , please consider this before making a reservation.

Very clean. Everything labeled well stocked kitchen. Needed spare TP and paper towels

Betsy, not sure what happened with the TP or paper towels. I always leave a new roll in each bathroom as well as two spare rolls in second bathroom. So sorry I missed this during your stay. If you should stay again I will take half off the first nite for this missed necessity.

Great to work with
Owner is so inviting and great to work with. I had to stay home and friends of mine went ahead and took our place. She was great to help them get checked in and take my place.

Peaceful
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the fenced in yard for our dog. The house had everything we needed and more. Kat your attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We were very pleased with our stay and are hoping to return to see what Troy as to offer during the summer.

Amazing home, amazing value, extremely clean!
I would like to thank the property owner for providing such a great value with this property offering. The home was extremely clean, well apportioned, everything labeled for your convenience and perfectly located for our fishing trip. It was quiet, with the exception of the river running in the background, which was amazing. If you are planning a fishing trip to the Grande Ronde, there is no finer location at an amazing price than this property. Thank you Kat for your help when we arrived.

Amazing place to get-away and relax!
This is a jewel of a find. We stayed for an entire month and never grew tired of the beautiful canyon views, the Grande Ronde river right out the front door, incredibly friendly locals, and amazing wildlife. Katrina is a perfect host who made sure everything was ready for our needs. She really goes the extra mile! We highly recommend staying here. It's a great home base for fishing, hunting, or river rafting. Katrina keeps the home super clean, and the kitchen has all new appliances. You will be blessed to stay here.

Cliff and Laura are the best guest you could hope for. They stayed at my property for a month and not only did they bake pies for our local pie auction but they mowed the lawn weekly and even noticed that one of my clocks was not working properly so they drove into town and bought one for me. They left the house super clean. I felt so blessed that they stayed.

Cozy and Comfy!
My boyfriend and I wanted to get out of the city but still be able to work from home. Katrina's house met our expectations and more, the online pictures do not do this home justice. We brought all the food we needed to cook, as Troy is very tiny, but does have one restaurant (I reccomend trying!). We had everything we needed to prep meals and work from home, including internet. Video calls might be a challenge, but we didn't need to do that there. The house felt spacious yet cozy. It was very clean, with many windows to view wildlife and the river, but still allowed a sense of privacy. I loved all the little sticky notes in the house, so you knew where things were and how to use them. I loved sipping coffee early mornings and watch the snow fall. Katrina really knows how to make a house feel like a home, and welcome her guests. There was even a sweet treat baked loacally waiting for us when we arrived. Communication was quick and easy. Also, there's a sauna! If you get a chance to stay at Katrina's, you definitely should!

Relaxing and all the touches of home
Excellent stay in Troy! The house is immaculate, with sweet touches of ‘home.’ Peaceful surroundings with a hiking trail nearly right out the door! Katrina was super easy to work with, responded immediately.

Really nice house
The house was even better than expected and very clean and organized. All the kitchen utensils, pots/pans, dishes, etc. were in great shape and there was everything we needed. Towels were super soft! Would definitely stay here again.

Better than advertised
This was an excellent property and it’s in a beautiful location, close to the river and close to hiking.
The owner has everything dialed in. And things were set up for us and our dog when we arrived.
We wish we could have stayed for at least a week. We plan on coming back in the future.

Anniversary Getaway
Better than expected. So much attention to detail. It was like home away from home. There was a dog house, dog bed and even a special blanket for a dog. Even though we didn't bring our dogs, I thought that was great! Extra towels just for going down to the river. Would definitely stay again!

Peace and Tranquility
This was just a sweet place to rest, away from the world troubles. It offered exceptional views and a very clean and comfortable home with all the amenities one needs. We will be back!

This is a beautiful house and property. Everything was so thoughtfully done!
In addition to how well kept this property is, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful. Delicious homemade bread was waiting for us; my dog had a toy for her; all our needs were anticipated. We can't thank you enough, Kat, for making us feel so welcome. It's one of the best VRBO experiences I've had.

Fishing Weekend Getaway
What a magical place Troy is, and this Grande Ronde Vacation Rental made it a perfect weekend! Exceptionally comfortable, well maintained and they even have a sauna. We loved it so much we plan on returning again soon.
One tip for anyone heading to Troy, bring everything you might want or need as there are virtually no resources once there. We forgot oil for cooking but had plenty of butter, definitely a first world problem :)

grande ronde
It was an awesome stay for my 2 sisters and myself. It was a quiet, peaceful setting where you sit and listen to the water flowing down the grande ronde river. The cabin and its property was definitely more than we expected.
We did not expect the rugidness of the road in and out of Troy but it was more than worth the drive. Thanks for having us.
I'm sure Kat would like to know: the light and fan on the front deck is not working and the microwave is not heating as it should.

Remote luxury
This vacation home is well managed, clean and has many of the smaller details that are often neglected in rentals. The rental exceeded our expectations .

It was a delight to have this family at my home. This was the largest family I have had stay and I was a little worried, but everything looked great and they were wonderful.

Backcountry hideaway
This was a wonderful place to enjoy a few days of solitude. Very comfortable and well-appointed, it has a fabulous shady porch and beautifully kept grounds. There were plenty of places to stroll, and plenty of shade so that the heat was enjoyable, instead of oppressive. We really loved our stay.
