Spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home with huge master suite. Easily sleeps 6 with lots of extra floor space for a cot or air mattress. Family friendly and pet welcoming . This 2000 + square foot home is completely furnished . 3 decks are just waiting for you to enjoy a cup of coffee as you relax and watch for wildlife. A play area is set up with sand box, tire swing, and a real wood teeter totter. The kitchen is stocked with your basic essentials as well as cook ware needed to prepare the perfect meal. Centrally located you are minutes away from the mining/gambling town of Cripple Creek and the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. Being only 50 minutes from Colorado Springs to the east you are open to endless choices. Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Santas workshop as well as the beautiful Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Canon City to your south and the Royal Gorge are only 45 minutes away, there you have the chance to enjoy the world famous Royal Gorge bridge, as well as seek the adventurous white water rafting that is near by, lots of fun begins in the royal gorge region. Plenty of great fishing awaits you to your west as you try your hand at Fly fishing on the Gold medal waters of the South Platte river or 11 mile State park.
The home is furnished with a king size bed, a queen size bed and 2 twin beds. The master suite and the living room offer televisions with Direct TV as well as free WIFI. The kitchen is stocked with everything to prepare your family dinner. The back deck hosts a BBQ grill just waiting for you to add your burgers. Coffee, creamer and sugars are furnished, as well as paper plates and silver ware in the event you do not want to load the dishwasher. Full size washer and dryer including laundry soap are furnished. Secluded, yet just a moment away from the pavement of a well traveled county road.
All that is needed to make this the perfect spot for your family vacation is your family.

Wonderful family trip to the mountains! We returned again this summer to this property because we loved it last year! It is beautiful, spacious, and quiet. The host is tops!

Beautiful wooded property. Floor plan is excellent for 2 couples or a family. Lovely wall hangings and attention to detail. Host left us treats and a meal-above and beyond what we expected. We were able to meet Cathleen. She was so gracious and warm-, immediately felt like a friend. House was really clean.Highly recommend. .

This is a wonderful home. So comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the decks, the grill, the hummingbirds. The beds are so comfy. The host supplied plenty of extras to enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked, making it easy to cook in of you want. Cathleen was so gracious and responsive, going so far as to find a ring my grandson left behind and mail it back to him. 100% recommend this place. You will not be sorry!

Nice cabin. I would rent again just for the abundant snacks left by our gracious host.They were definitely appreciated. Enjoyed making delicious banana splits with all those wonderful toppings. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Plenty of natural light.We really enjoyed sitting on the porches watching hummingbirds. Nice to have gates on porches so our dogs could sit out. Location worked well for us. I was a little concerned about road noise but in never disrupted our trip. It’s nice to have easy access to road instead of winding around in mountains hoping your gps doesn’t go out.. Hopefully this place will be available on our next trip to the area.Thanks Cathleen for a great stay.

PERFECT FOR TODDLERS! We stayed with our two year old and 4 month old. There was privacy and tons of play options for the toddler. He had rock pit with dump trucks, water spigot and bucket, large swing play set, teeter totter, and tires to climb on. There’s also a large circular driveway that goes around the property that he liked riding his bike on. Inside, plenty of floor space to play with his toys. The master bedroom closet was huge and perfect for the pack n play for the baby. Large bathtub to bathe them in. Cripple creek is like 15 minutes down the road and has the train that my toddler loved. 11 mile canyon was around 20 minutes the other direction and had creek/stream to play in. Kitchen has all the utensils/pots etc you need. Having full laundry was a great. This is the perfect place for a young family. We’ve already booked to come again!

Great Stay

Our kids just love coming here, there is so much for them to do. The owners really put a lot of nice little touches in to the place that make it even more enjoyable.

Amazing home, amazing location

Spacious home, stocked with all we needed and more! The snacks and treats were such a lovely surprise, the kids really enjoyed it. Host was very nice and easy to reach with any needs. If we find ourselves staying in this area again we will definitely be back.

Great location - plenty of space

This house was perfect for us. There was plenty of space for a family of 6 to spread out. Everything was clean and nice and we loved the movie snack bucket and the absolutely loaded sundae bar! We’ll be back!

Great home and location!

Clean, comfortable stay!

This property is well cared for by the owners. It does require some travel time to attractions, groceries and restaurants, but the advantage is getting away from the bustle.

Excellent Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. My son loved the playground equipment. We saw deer hanging out almost everyday. This was a fantastic vacation.
