Spacious family home just waiting for you & yours to begin your next adventures

Spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home with huge master suite. Easily sleeps 6 with lots of extra floor space for a cot or air mattress. Family friendly and pet welcoming . This 2000 + square foot home is completely furnished . 3 decks are just waiting for you to enjoy a cup of coffee as you relax and watch for wildlife. A play area is set up with sand box, tire swing, and a real wood teeter totter. The kitchen is stocked with your basic essentials as well as cook ware needed to prepare the perfect meal. Centrally located you are minutes away from the mining/gambling town of Cripple Creek and the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. Being only 50 minutes from Colorado Springs to the east you are open to endless choices. Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Santas workshop as well as the beautiful Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Canon City to your south and the Royal Gorge are only 45 minutes away, there you have the chance to enjoy the world famous Royal Gorge bridge, as well as seek the adventurous white water rafting that is near by, lots of fun begins in the royal gorge region. Plenty of great fishing awaits you to your west as you try your hand at Fly fishing on the Gold medal waters of the South Platte river or 11 mile State park.
The home is furnished with a king size bed, a queen size bed and 2 twin beds. The master suite and the living room offer televisions with Direct TV as well as free WIFI. The kitchen is stocked with everything to prepare your family dinner. The back deck hosts a BBQ grill just waiting for you to add your burgers. Coffee, creamer and sugars are furnished, as well as paper plates and silver ware in the event you do not want to load the dishwasher. Full size washer and dryer including laundry soap are furnished. Secluded, yet just a moment away from the pavement of a well traveled county road.
All that is needed to make this the perfect spot for your family vacation is your family.

Excellent Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. My son loved the playground equipment. We saw deer hanging out almost everyday. This was a fantastic vacation.

Great Stay

Our kids just love coming here, there is so much for them to do. The owners really put a lot of nice little touches in to the place that make it even more enjoyable.

Clean, comfortable stay!

This property is well cared for by the owners. It does require some travel time to attractions, groceries and restaurants, but the advantage is getting away from the bustle.

Great cabin

The cabin was exactly what was listed and was exactly what our family needed for a great vacation. This is the third time we've stayed in the Divide/Florissant area and we have loved it each time. The location is great, the play area was wonderful for the days that we decided not to go anywhere, the decks were all pleasant, and Cathleen was very nice. I would highly recommend, and hope to come back to, this cabin.

Quiet country house great for family

We had a great time. Enough space for family of four. Loved the property felt like rural Colorado away from crowds but close enough to big attractions. Owner have us a warm welcome, lots of special items for family and made sure we had all we needed, including rock souvenir for my boys. Thank you for as wonderful stay!

Perfect layout

We have a very active 3 year old and the cabin was well suited to accommodate our family. The hosts are very kind by having a fresh pot of chili waiting for us. The kitchen and rest of the cabin is well stocked.

Family Vacation

Our entire experience was amazing. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. They had great attention to detail. The cabin was clean and spacious. The location was central to everything we wanted to see! Loved everything about it. We will be back.

Beautiful location and very comfortable

The house was great. Master bath and bedroom are fabulous. Second bedroom had a very comfortable bed third bedroom was ok with a trundle bed. We had 6 of us and never felt cramped. Outside patios were great and the host even surprised us with ice cream and toppings and bananas Absolutely fabulous host and property

Great location

We loved the comfort of this lovely home. The owners treated us like royalty. We loved all the decks and views of the property. We took great walks to find wild flowers, and thoroughly enjoyed the deer visits, birds and cute ground squirrels. All appliances are so nice, showers and beds comfortable. All the attention to detail is obvious. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Cabin

Cathleen was so thoughtful. She left us homemade chicken soup so we didn’t have to cook when we arrived. The cabin was very clean warm and inviting. There were deer and fox that we saw many times. The furniture was comfortable. We had everything we needed. I would definitely go back if given the opportunity!

Peaceful retreat

This house was perfect for a family weekend getaway from the city. The house is located on a beautiful, private lot. My kids loved playing in the yard and on the teeter-totter. We couldn't see any other houses from the property and the woods behind the house were so peaceful. The house is very clean, with simple furnishings, and a great layout for a family. We want to come back when the weather is warmer.

Absolutely fantastic!

This is by far the best rental we've ever had. It has everything you can imagine and much more. The owners go about and beyond! When we arrived there were fixing for ice cream Sundays/banana splits! Tons of games and movies for the kids! This beautiful home is spacious, clean and private! It's close to many tourists attractions. Our family absolutely loved it! We definitely plan on returning! Thank you so much for making our stay fantastic!
