The Mermaid's Pearl: We invite you to enjoy our thoughtfully renovated and updated studio condo. The kitchen has been outfitted with a new refrigerator, cabinets, stainless steel undermount sink, glass cooktop and beautiful granite countertops. The bathroom has been updated with a vessel sink, granite countertop, and a glass enclosed tiled shower. For added comfort, you will enjoy a new split AC unit, queen gel foam mattress, and two ceiling fans in the living space. The Mermaid's Pearl has been furnished with a new queen bed, queen sized pullout couch and hand painted furniture to help capture the beach vibe. You will have snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels and a carry cooler to enjoy at the beach for your many adventures.

The balcony has been furnished with a teak high top bistro table and chairs to help you enjoy the view. The balcony is fully enclosed with a screen to help deter uninvited flying guests.

Sapphire Beach: It the perfect place to enjoy your vacation. It offers great watersports with an activity kiosk down at the beach, which is only a 5 minute walk away. Our condo offers two pools with one approximately 100 feet from our front door. Sapphire has several bars and restaurants to choose from. You have many day trip options with the onsite marina; including fishing, BVI trips, parasailing, jetski rental, and more. The Mermaid's Pearl is located approximately 1 mile from Redhook where you can find the ferry, grocery, restaurants, shops and bars.

We hope you choose the Mermaid's Pearl for your St. Thomas escape. We also have a sister condo and many contacts to assist if you have multiple parties to accommodate.

Lovely place...would recommend

I was impressed with all of the amenities and the view. Very quiet, with comfortable beds and seating. My only suggestion would be to add some travel sized toothpaste and mouthwash:) Should have brought my own, but I forgot lol... Very nicely stocked kitchen! Great stay, will come back!

Beautiful and comfortable

We have stayed in this complex several times but Michael’s place was the best of all. So well equipped and set up we were working on a job while staying there and had good work space as well as a comfortable space to come “home” to at the end of a long day. We will book this lovely place again.

Perfect location - close to everything you need

This property was absolutely perfect for my stay on St. Thomas! The condo itself was clean, modern and cute. Beautiful view to wake up to every morning, and a great patio with a screen to keep out the bugs. Michael was great about communicating and helping me extend my stay. The property has been updated with a very nice bathroom. Location is amazing - multiple pools and a great restaurant (Sudi’s) on site. You can also use the Sapphire Resort just down the hill for the beach, restaurants and bars. Otherwise Red Hook is only a few minutes away for groceries, restaurants and the ferry. Several other beaches are very close as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, you’ll be lucky if this spot is available!

Perfect Spot - Wonderful Hosts!

We absolutely loved staying at The Mermaid’s Pearl. It turned out to be a pretty popular area, the local bar/pool had great food and drinks, and a handful of good options just in walking distance. The unit management team at the office were welcoming and helpful since we accidentally arrived WAY too early and needed to store our bags. The hosts were very kind and quick to respond, and the check in process was as smooth as one could be. Can’t beat the view on this place, either! Very comfortable space, would stay again!

Would not recommend

Place had not been cleaned from previous guest upon check-in. Had to contact owner and wait for cleaning lady to clean unit. Owner did respond quickly and issued a cleaning credit for the mistake. Last two days and nights the unit experienced power outages with power being off most of the time. At times the unit was hot & miserable, especially at night. Owner said this is out of his control & told us to use extension cord to generator which only allowed us to power three items with AC not being an option. We chose refrigerator, swapping our cell phones to charge, & a very small fan for our third choice. Things like blow dryer & microwave would blow the generator circuit breaker. The flashlights available provided little light. We paid for AC, TV, hot showers, light and all the other amenities requiring electricity mentioned in the description which we didn't get the last two days and nights except for short windows of time, sometimes only a few minutes, sometimes up to two hours, none of which was on a reliable schedule. The owner didn't give us any other information or help or answers. We checked with the main office for the apartment complex which was also little help stating this is common and couldn't provide an accurate schedule of when power would come back on. I would recommend staying at a resort like Margaritaville which has their own power supply and doesn't rely on one electrical grid run by the Virgin Island Water and Power Authority like this apartment complex.

Fabulous, quiet spot above a beautiful beach area

The condo is modern, clean, and well equipped, with a gorgeous view out over the Sapphire Beach area. It was nice to have the beach about a 5-minute walk away so that I could enjoy the music and activities down at the beach but also easily return to the quiet and calm of the condo. There is a nice little pool just outside the condo unit, a good restaurant and bar two minutes down the hill. Sapphire Beach itself lacks a grocery store, but Redhook is only six minutes away by taxi. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay, and the host was responsive and helpful all the way through. A+!

Short but sweet

We only stayed for one night but it was a very nice stay. The condo was very clean and had an amazing view. There is a nice balcony with a bar-height table and chairs. We enjoyed a couple of drinks there. A pool is right outside the door as is Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grille.

Nice atmosphere

Amazing Place short walk to Sapphire Beach and a pool directly next to the room. The host was very nice and attentive and was very helpful throughout our stay highly recommend the mermaids Pearl

Was perfect for Us

Our stay was just wonderful. It was a plus being so close to the beach & restaurant. All in walking distance. We loved sitting out on the screened in balcony overlooking the water. The unit was perfect. Bed was very comfortable. We didn't even use the AC. The 2 fans in the studio were perfect. The kitchen was cute and had everything you needed. Very clean. The bathroom was very spacious and lovely. Had a little problem figuring out the electronic lock on the door, but the owner got back to me immediately and he helped me through it. Every time I emailed him, there was an immediate response. I highly recommend this unit for your stay. It was perfect for us.

Good unit with a good view. I recommend this spot for a great USVI getaway

Easy check in and out, maybe a little tricky using the door and code, but I'd Rather have that than not. Great view, right by one of the pools. Sapphire Beach was very accessible. Clean and straight forward unit, my only wish is new pillows, we both had a hard time sleeping and had to resort to more creative means to rest our heads.

Excellent location and lovely space

My sister and I enjoyed our stay this weekend. The place was very clean and comfortable. The pull out bed worked well and the view was absolutely wonderful. It was easy access to the beach and we never had a problem getting a taxi. I have stayed in many places on the island and this was one of my favorite.

Perfect for our one night stay on St Thomas before flying out the next day. Very clean and cozy. Restaurant was very close and had good food and drinks.

What a view 😍

Loved everything about this condo. When we first arrived it smelled so clean and we had everything we needed plus. It is a short walk down to the beach and marina which are both stunning. The pool is right outside the door. The bed was comfy and ac worked great. Great location near red hook. I can’t say enough about it. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing view and comfy place

I absolutely loved this place. The price / value proposition was above average. You do need to walk to top of Sapphire Village but the views are panoramic and incredible. The cost to walk an extra 5-7 min saved us $750-$1250. Just be aware there’s a steady incline and then a very steep hill at end. Considering we only slept and showered, the studio vibe was perfect. Large enough for 2 and a fridge for cold beverages. Everything is a 7-10 min taxi away (Red Hook, restaurants, ferry). Do yourself a favor and DO NOT eat at Sea Salt that’s part of the complex by Sapphire Beach. It’s a disaster and rude staff. The coffee shop, bar, and pizza place are all great!

Perfect Stay!

Our stay here was very enjoyable. The property was clean and comfy enough for my wife and I. We enjoyed spending time out on the balcony at night with a great view. Check in was super convenient. We also loved having access to some good bars and restaurants within walking distance right along the beach. Last but not least, this property is priced competitively offering a really great value in comparison to other properties in the Sapphire Beach area. I feel like we got pretty lucky to find this property available! Overall, would love to come back and stay at Michael's place again!

Lovely apartment in St. Thomas

Enjoyable time! Access to ocean and pools. Also access to dollar trolley outside property. The beach at Sapphire is very lovely. Also a restaurant on property that is very fun. apartment was in good condition with a view of ocean from balcony. Had a great time!

Extended stay

Great location, wonderful snorkeling at the beach,restaurants, coffeehouse, had quality food and staff, wonderful Sapphire beach gift store, life music, easy access to taxis. Very quiet, nice view.

We are a adventurous family that fell in love with St. Thomas. My wife and I got engaged and married on island! We don't currently live on island, but come to visit as much as possible.

After travelling to St. Thomas multiple times, we decided to buy a condo and help others enjoy the island! We were particular about where we wanted to buy on island. After looking at multiple spots we decided that Sapphire was the place to be! We love the snorkeling, great beach area, amenities and the people!

This balcony condo has been completely rebuilt after the hurricanes (not so affectionately referred to as IRMARIA). My wife and I thoughtfully designed the space for comfort and luxury for you to enjoy.
