Our family used to own this property. It had been years since we had been there and oh what a treat!! Kelly has taken such good care of the property, it brought tears to our eyes. We will be returning again and again. Thank you Kelly for allowing us this experience again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and it was as great as the first time. The cabin had everything we needed, and has beautiful views of the lake with amazing access to the water!

We absolutely loved our week in Donnelly! The view was beautiful, and the home had everything we could possibly need. I especially appreciated how everything was clearly labeled—it was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay so easy and comfortable.The entire place was exceptionally clean. Having worked in property management and vacation rentals for more than 20 years, cleanliness is something I notice immediately, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere cleaner. I was incredibly impressed.Kelly was wonderful to work with, and we truly loved everything about our stay. It was the perfect place for our getaway, and we are already talking about staying here again!

The house and all amenities were outstanding! Great view, perfect for us to walk out and ice fish with a campfire close by. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, lounge, cook and relax. 100 out of 10 recommended

Kelly was a wonderful host! This is our fourth time staying at the Donnelly House and it’s still our favorite place to make memories with family. The house is always clean and comfortable with everything we need to cook large group meals. We’ll be back again I’m sure!

Beach oasis

We’ve stayed here several times and this location doesn’t disappoint. The beach is amazing and the outdoor space is perfect for large groups of people. We loved it so much. We already booked for next year.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed the spacious size of the interior and all the accommodations provided. The host communicated quickly after booking. The ambience and location was perfect.

Best rental in the world

This place is literally heaven on earth. My family absolutely loved every moment we had here. Cancel any plans you have and just stay here.

Perfect location.

We had such a fabulous family weekend at this cabin! the cabin was very clean, cozy and well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed (and tons of fridge space inside and out), which made cooking for everyone a breeze. The sleeping spaces and separate cabin worked out perfectly for all of our families.The kids loved hunting for cute little painted rocks around the property - such a fun and thoughtful touch. Outside we spent a ton of time grilling on the Blackstone, playing cornhole and warming up by the firepit on the beach (there was plenty of firewood provided) The big sandy beach was awesome-the kids played there all day, we all enjoyed fishing, soaking up the gorgeous views, and even some bird watching. It was so peaceful and quiet, and it felt like we had such an awesome space all to ourselves. We mad the best memories here and can't wait to go back! Host is excellent!

Gorgeous view

This cabin was perfect. The view was amazing , the beach was perfect for our kids and the cabin is spacious! We had a wonderful stay while at the cabin and roasting marshmallows at night! Thanks David for being so available to reach in times when we had a question. That aspect was nice and comforting. Only thing I would suggest is bring your own pillows if you are a picky pillow person as there's were slightly really flat. Also, we brought a couple extra pots and pans as there were very many to use. Other than those two things - we will totally rent again! We made the best memories while we were there.

Thanks for the review Lisa. We would enjoy having you back anytime. I took your advise and replaced the pillows. We now have 15 fat pillows. You were right. There were several flat ones in the prior collection. So henceforth only folks who like flat pillows need to bring their own. We now have the fat pillow people covered!

Excellent Beach Location

Our annual family vacation was a huge success! There were 10 of us. The home is large enough to accomodate a large group. We had plenty of seating inside and out. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep! The owners were great answering questions and provide lots of extras like towels for the beach, fans to help keep it cool, a laundry and so much more. It is an older home but it is well maintained and clean. The beach was excellent. It was easily accessible for our 70+ years, and had lots of shade for those of us that tend to burn in the summer. There was seating and a fire pit for the kiddos to make smores. We took a boat, jet ski and paddle boards. We tied the boat to a bouy and beached the jet ski and anchored it overnight. We stored the paddle boards and other toys on the beach and felt safe in doing so. Wish we had found this place years ago.....We cant wait for next year!

Such a great spot for a family vacation. More than enough to do and tons of space for everyone. You can't beat having a beach to play on all day.

Paradise

This home will not disappoint. We have an annual girls weekend (20 years+). This is our favorite hands down! Everything you need, or could want is there. We had plans to eat out one night but just couldn’t do it. We were in PARADISE!!! No need to leave! We will definitely be back.

It Doesn’t Get Any Better

This home was like living in a dream. It is situated on a quiet part of the lake and offered a lot of privacy. Kelly, the host, was extremely organized and had everything labeled in the house. She was quick to respond to any questions, which was nice too. The house was clean, and we felt right at home. It was like coming home to your parent’s house that has everything you could possibly need, but you still need to do all of your own laundry and cooking. We stayed there for 9 nights and cooked every meal at home. There wasn’t one time when we needed something that wasn’t there. The views were wonderful, and we enjoyed cruising around on the lake. The outside covered porch was fun to sit in, especially since we had a couple days of rain. We are already making plans to come back next summer.

Another perfect vacation at the Lakehouse!

This property is perfect! Comfortable, cozy, and gorgeous! Kelly is a perfect host. She is friendly and communicative and makes sure her property is perfect. This is our second year staying here and my family is already making requests for next year!

Ice fishing retreat

Absolutely amazing experience! Tons of space for our group in a breathtaking setting. This trip for us was made exponentially better through our stay at this lakeside oasis. Kelly Lee went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. 150% recommend this spot to anyone looking for a vacation at Lake Cascade!
