Located on beautiful Blue Mountain Lake in the heart of the Adirondacks, this year round, lake front residence comes with all amenities needed for a great vacation get-a -way. This 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home also includes a 3 car garage with an upstairs apartment which is utilized as one of the available bedrooms. You will have the feeling of vacationing in a mini Adirondack Great Camp style home with breathtaking lake and mountain views on the outskirts of the quiet and serene village of historic Blue Mountain Lake.

We have been staying at the amazing property for our Adirondack vacation for many years. John is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a great experience. It feels like a second home for my family and we cannot wait to be there again next year. A little piece of Heaven on Earth!

A special respite for our family. Hosts are fantastic, property is fantastic. So wonderful to have climbed a mountain, jumped in a lake and cook a full course meal for the family - like a dream. Thank you!

This spacious house is beautiful and very well equipped. There was plenty of space for my family of 7 people plus 2 dogs. My teenage son enjoyed having his own living area above the garage. We would hike in the morning and then spend quiet time by the lake in the afternoon. It was a very peaceful last few days of our vacation.

Gorgeous house and property! John and Wendy were very accommodating and quick to respond. Very nice people. The location and view of the lake was perfect. We heard loons singing the whole time. So peaceful. Would definitely go back, maybe in the fall.

I do not write reviews however this property and its owners are so incredible I felt I had to. The house is great the lake is amazing and as I said the hosts are fantastic.

Wow! What an amazing house in a beautiful, lakeside location. We felt right at home, with lots of room for a multi-generational family vacation. I’ve rented lots of VRBO houses all over the country and overseas, and this one was probably my favorite. Hope to go back again next year!

Wonderful weekend by the Lake

This was our second time staying at this property, which is absolutely beautiful. The house is very comfortable with every amenity that you would need. But it is the proximity to the lake and the breathtaking views which really make it special. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & hope to be back next year!

Everything was amazing. Host were so kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their home was beautiful and location was great. We enjoyed kayaking and the canoe too. Listening to the loons and seeing otters were our highlights. Great hikes in the area. The Hike to castle rock for an aerial view of the lake was amazing. Our dogs loved it too. Can’t wait to stay again. Truly 5 stars

This was the perfect rustic luxury /classic Adirondack great camp spot for our extended family vacation! The home is stunning and well equipped for cooking and grilling. The views of the lake are amazing with blue mountain on the other side. We enjoyed paddling around the lake and swimming from the dock. Family dinners were a joy to cook and the beds were comfy! The primary suite is massive and there was an office some of us used when we had work meetings. There is a piano where my 10 year old niece and her friend had fun leaning some tunes I taught them. There is a beautiful fire pit we used one night for smores. The area is gorgeous also - quiet yet we found so much to do between the Adirondack experience, the tap room at the arts center, just 35 minutes to the wonderful Wild Center at Tupper Lake and not far to Long Lake. We had one very rainy day and this grand camp is a joy to just cozy up in all day. We enjoyed the wildlife - hummingbirds in the garden outside the kitchen, loons and a friendly duck on the lake and I also saw a bald eagle one day. The hosts are wonderful and communicative! We hope to return some day.

A great spot on blue mountain lake

We used this property for a small family wedding. It was a beautiful property and location. John and his wife were overall helpful and communicative prior to our stay and during. They addressed any problems or questions we encountered.

60th Anniversary Celebration

Our family gathered at this beautiful property for our parents 60th wedding anniversary. It was the most perfect and wonderful location to celebrate 60 years of love and family. Everything was spotless. The gourmet kichen made preparing meals special and delicious. Being on the water alloewed us to kayak and enjoy Blue Mountain Lake. This was our 5th year staying at this property and we hope to continue to return every year here for our family vacation. It is our all time favorite place to vacation as a family!

A wonderful experience

A true hidden gem in the Adirondack! This is a one of a kind property that balances the classic Adirondack style with modern renovations to make you and your family comfortable. The property is large to make you feel like you have a one of a kind experience on a large lake. This property made our family holiday very special and should be on anyone’s list that wants to experience the Adirondacks!

Amazing House

This was our second stay at this home. Just like the first - we loved it! The weather was not that great but we had a wonderful time. The fireplace in the family room was cozy with plenty of wood supplied. The home was well stocked. Just bring your clothes and food as the kitchen was professional grade. Thank you again for an amazing stay!

Beautiful lake house that feels like home

We just love the Blue Mountain Lake House. We have stayed here a few times now in the heart of winter. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. The owners take good care of the house, the property and their guests. There is always plenty of fire wood to burn while sitting around the gorgeous stone fireplace. The owner is responsive to any questions and even helped us get out of the snowy driveway when we didn’t have our winter tires ready. We love it! Now to return for a summer stay.

Breathtaking Adirondack Vacation

This is our third stay at this luxurious Blue Mountain Lake Home with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. We are made to feel so welcome in this amazing home and cannot wait for our next stay here. This home is beautifully decorated and accommodated my whole family very comfortably. There are plenty of kayaks available and the location is second to none. The owners are friendly and very responsive to any questions you may have. This home has provided so many wonderful memories for our family and we are truly grateful to be able to enjoy a little piece of paradise here!

Fabulous ADK Experience!

Stylish, comfortable, everything that you can hope for Adirondack dream house , professionally decorated. Great location, on beautiful Blue Montain Lake with postcard views. Swim, boat, savor. Boathouse with accessible kayaks/canoes. Guest accessory accommodation over garage with two beds suited my friends and godson perfectly. Restaurant level stove for serious cooking. The real deal! Short of owning your own camp, doesn't get better.

Great house but the lake is not good for motor boats.

Purpose of stay was for a fishing trip for friends and family. Great Lake for canoeing and kayaking but not for my 20 ft Bayliner fishing boat. Lake is full of boulders some marked with buoys some not. Fishing in lake was not good! Loved the house very beautiful. Will not go back just because of lake conditions.
