Unique setting perfect for our Redwoods adventure for an extended weekend. Everything we needed. Wonderful mountaintop views. We felt adventurous and walked down a few times for coffee and breakfast. 10/10 suggest Sorella‘s in downtown Fairfax!! Remarkable…also Fairfax scoops for an ice cream .

A perfect getaway from the city to enjoy a few days poolside for a chill birthday. Constant “wow!”s emerged from our mouths at the view. The pool was so clean and refreshing during the height of the day, the hot tub soothing for the early morn and evening. The kitchen and living room area were sufficient for our needs, though for anyone looking for a chef’s kitchen and big comfy indoor couch situation, look elsewhere. This place is all about the outdoor decks, watching the birds, breathing in the fresh air. A memorable place for sure.

Great location to visit our family

Loved our stay. I would maybe consider mentioning the drive isn’t for the faint of heart, but it is manageable.

Lovely stay!

This location in Fairfax was a truly remarkable oasis. My husband and I enjoyed soaking in the sunshine and long evening chats in the hot tub while star gazing. Lovely, clean space for a getaway!

Beautiful property in amazing location

We had a lovely stay. Very spacious outside, great pool and hot tub. Beautiful view of Mt. Tam. Walking distance to downtown Fairfax. Can definitely recommend and would love to come back!

The mountain retreat was an amazing experience. Unforgettable views and so relaxing. Great communication and we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this place to stay!

Property has spectacular views and wonderful outdoor space and is in a great location to explore Marin County. Pool is lovely as is all the outdoor seating areas. Bed was very comfortable and access to WiFi and Smart TVs very useful if required. Walking distance to Fairfax and its abundance of cafes, eatieries, bars and shops.Very enjoyable stay.Matt & Jayne

Although I gave an excellant review the manual referred to the smoke alarms in the main sitting area and how they might go off if using the sauna in the bathroom unless you closed the door to the hallway. However, the smoke alarm was missing from it's spot. There was 1 in down the hall near the bedroom. The handle to the front door was also loose and fell off several times when closing the door. Otherwise, the home and surrounding property were beautiful and we enjoyed the stay!

Peace and Quiet

Great central location for exploring Marin county! Close to several good and unique hikes! The pool was exactly as advertised, private with incredible views and very relaxing!

Stop off in Fairfax

We stayed 4 nights in September. The property is beautiful with a wonderful view and great amenities. Would stay again, if the chance ever arises.

Amazing Views

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind this is a place for you. The pool and the hot tube are wonderful, but the views are what sets this place apart from others.

Great Stay

Amazing location and quiet! Close enough to San Francisco (about 45 minute drive) to enjoy the sites during the day and enjoy a quiet evening/night away from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing in the hot tub and the shower/sauna at the end of the day was amazing! Vicki was very attentive to any questions we had prior and during our stay.

It was better than I expected. The property is even more beautiful and relaxing than the pictures indicate. Pool and hot tub were both great. Property owner was very attentive and left lots of yummy snacks for us hungry travelers. We usually stay in the city at a high end hotel, but I’m definitely coming back the next time we’re in the area.

Beautiful views/great location

Beautiful view, very close to town. Great location!!! Road is a bit tricky to get up to house, definitely need to go slow and pay attention for oncoming cars. Host was great, really didn’t require much while there since we were doing a lot of sightseeing.
