2 Bed/2Bath Cabin w/Private Hot Tub! Backs to GSMNP & 5 min to park entrance!

Wonderful, cozy cabin located in the beautiful and scenic mountains of Tennessee directly adjacent to GSMNP. It offers a master suite with king size bed & walk in shower. The second bedroom upstairs has two twin beds, a full bath, & a small observation deck.

Features include: Two TVs with over 100 channels, high speed wifi, full kitchen with cookware & utensils, covered front porch with swing, hot tub & charcoal grill on rear deck, gas log fireplace, classic arcade game table, washer & dryer.

Our cabin backs up to the GSMNP and is only minutes away from the laid back town of Townsend, the entertainment of Pigeon Forge, the antiques & artisans of Wears Valley, and the quaint shops of Gatlinburg. If you plan on spending time in the park, the Wear Cove Gap entrance to GSMNP is only 1-1/2 miles away!


Cell Phone Coverage: Most of the major cell carriers have good coverage in the area of the cabin, but no coverage once you are inside the park.

Beary Sweet Retreat is located in the mountains, with the last 1/2 mile being a fairly steep & winding, but well maintained asphalt road. A four wheel drive vehicle may be required during snowy weather, so please plan accordingly.

This rental property did not disappoint! Everything was exactly as described including pictures. Nice surprise with tasteful holiday decorations throughout the property during our Thanksgiving stay. Location was ideal for easy access into the park. Loved having hot tub directly on the back porch with private view of mountain. Ideal property for couples or family of 4 with older children.

Beautiful Cabin in a peaceful area. Cabin was as described and very clean and nicely decorated Communication with host was excellent and responded quickly. I will definitely book again We had a bear come to the front porch one morning which made my day. The area is so close to the park and made for great photos. Thanks to the owners for sharing your beautiful cabin

Loved the setting, and the beauty and comfort of the interior. A luxury cabin! End-of-road location offers woodsy surroundings and privacy. Host communication always quick and friendly. (Only glitch was hard-to-use hot tub controls.)

The hosts were especially friendly and accessible. The home was immaculate and well appointed. It was “as advertised. “ We could not get the fireplace started and they were on top of it with help right away. They could not have been more responsive. We certainly would return to this property.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The hosts were very helpful and checked on us. The cabin is in a good location with lots of restaurants- our favorite was Elvira’s and Sloppy Hogs. We even had a bear that came on front porch. It was a great 4-day stay.

Beautiful property and had everything we needed from relaxing with family, down time in the hot tub at night down to the basic essentials for cooking. We look forward to staying here again when we come back to visit Tennessee!Right down the street from where you turn onto the road leading to your cabin, there is a great little coffee shop " Heavenly Roast" and places to grab some good food and local cider (side chic)

We had a great stay. The host was very accessible. The cabin is very clean and up to date. It backs right up to the National Park, so bear activity is a given. We saw several and one passed right by the front porch. Very quaint, quiet neighborhood.When dining out, Elvira’s is a must along with Sloppy Hog’s. We will be back for another stay.

Beautiful cabin in the best location! We had the best time. Right by the entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, in particular the Metcalf bottoms. The cabin had everything we needed. The master bedroom mattress was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. My morning coffee time on the porch swing made the trip. We even got to see a mama bear and her two cubs. My kids (and husband) now want an arcade table for home, haha. The hosts were fabulous and even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Cabin in the woods

My son wanted a “cabin in the woods” and found this home on VRBO‘s website. It was everything we hoped for and more. I have stayed at many vacation rental homes, and I would describe our stay here as flawless. The descriptions on the website are accurate and if anything understated. We loved everything about our stay.

Great location and cabin

My husband and I enjoyed 4 days at this cabin. It’s in an excellent location for quick access to Townsend or Pigeon Forge. There are also lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The hosts are also very informative and great with communication. This is a well managed cabin.

Cabin

The cabin was clean, but much smaller than the pictures portrayed online. There could have been more dishes, especially wine glasses, plates and utensils. Although we were told that the host provided coffee filters and starter coffee, those were not provided. There also was no dishwashing liquid to use to wash the few plates, bowls snd 2 wine glasses so those could be reused.

Wish we had longer

We had an amazing stay, loved everything about it except for not booking to stay longer so we are already talking about coming back even though it’s a 10 hr drive away. David & Kimberley were super responsive & helpful with some questions regarding the area before we arrived. Perfect hosts!

Cool little cabin in wears valley, great layout, Xfinity cable which we know so that made TV feel like home, close by restaurants and country stores

We are originally from Kentucky but have been living in Florida for 5 years. We have two children, one teenager and one young adult. We love visiting in Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge. When our kids were younger, we used to take them camping in Gatlinburg and really enjoyed hiking in the beautiful mountains.

We bought this sweet, cozy cabin for our family to enjoy when we have time, but we also wanted to share it with other families so they too, can make precious memories of their own.

We chose this property because it is the perfect size for our family and we love swinging on the front porch in the mornings while having coffee. We also enjoy spending time on the back deck in the hot tub and cooking hamburgers on the grill. Our kids (and we big kids :) - also enjoy playing the classic video games and working the jigsaw puzzles.
