Villa Bourganville

Very relaxing stay among the avocado trees. The decking provided a lovely suntrap for the winter sun. We were very lucky with the weather. The area is really nice being very close to Santa Ursula and La Oratava.

Check in war erst etwas holprig aber der Vermieter hat sehr schnell und gut reagiert. Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft passt soweit, dass Häuschen liegt sehr idyllisch und ruhig im Grünen. Wir hatten etwas Pech mit dem Wetter, deshalb war es in der Unterkunft relativ klamm und wir mussten zwischendurch etwas heizen. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen, dass heißt fast alle Wege, ausser zum nächsten Strand, müssen mit dem Auto erledigt werden. Parken an der Unterkunft ist problemlos. Zu Fuss zum nächsten Strand dauert ca 45 min. Alles in allem durchaus empfehlenswert.

Dear Detlef, Thank you for your comprehensive review and all the good things you had to say about the accomodation. I am sorry that the weather did not contribute to make the most out of your vacation. I must say that it has been a very unusual winter with more rainy days than usual and lower temperatures as well. However for correctness I should say that the accomodation in not damp at all. It is made out of wood and perfectly insulated in as far as water is concerned. As soon as you close the windows which have double glass and switch on the portable heater, the accomodation becomes warm pretty quickly. The cottage is located in the middle of an avocado farm in a rural area of Tenerife which ensures the peace and tranquility that we like to offer to our guests. However, the roads are asphalted and it is only 8 minutes away by car from La Orotava and Puerto de La Cruz which are the main towns of the North of the Island. The main highway that connects the Island is only 2 min by car and the closest beach (Bollullo) is only 25 min. walk from the property. There are very few places in Tenerife where you can enjoy being in nature and so well connected with the local towns and main highway.

Hervorragend Grandios

Das Ferienobjekt war außergewöhnlich schön eingerichtet und gepflegt, ebenso der Garten. Unser Vermieter hat uns umfangreich schon im Vorfeld informiert und stand mit Rat gerne zur Verfügung. Wir würden immer wieder gerne dort unseren Urlaub verbringen und empfehlen diese Unterkunft natürlich weiter.

Entspannung pur

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt bei Ted und Chris! Unser kleines Häuschen stand versteckt hinter Avokadobäumen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man im Urlaub braucht. Die liebevolle Einrichtung, die ruhige Umgebung, das sehr angenehme Verhältnis zum Vermieter und die nahe Anbindung nach Puerto de la Cruz machen den ganzen Aufenthalt perfekt!

Perfect spot!

We loved our little cottage in the midst of an avocado plantation. It was bright, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. Our host, Bernard (Ted) was helpful, and very kind. We enjoyed the fresh avocados he provided, as well as the welcome basket of fruit and bottle of wine. He was helpful with information about the bus schedules, hikes to the beach, restaurants and walks through the banana plantation to Puerto de la Cruz. We stayed a week, but should have stayed longer. Our trips to La Laguna and La Orotava were great, but there were many more excursions we will have to do next visit. We will recommend this ‘cottage’ to our friends. Thank you, Bernard.

Ein kleines Paradies, fern von Massentourismus

Wir haben uns den Luxus gegönnt, den langen Sommer 2018, noch etwas zu verlängern. Das 2.Mal in El Rincon und ich war wieder begeistert. Kein einziges Hotel in der Nähe. Das Meer in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Wanderparadiese im Orotava Tal sind schnell zu erreichen. Das Restaurant San Diego, zu Fuß in 5 min zu erreichen und ist unvergleichlich. Die Häuschen von Ted sind zwischen Avocado Bäumen versteckt, aber so dass die Sonne wunderschön auf die Terrassen scheinen. Schöne gemütliche kleine Anlage mit unglaublich freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. El Rincon, immer wieder gerne.

Tolle Umgebung - schöne Wohnung

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in den Hütten. Inmitten von Avocadobäumen liegt die Wohnung ruhig und schön. Die anderen beiden Hütten sind weit genug weg, dass man nichts von ihnen mitbekommt. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Sehr sauber, alles gut. 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind finden genug Platz. Ein wunderschöner Strand ist in der Nähe. Ted ist ein toller Gastgeber, der gerne Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gibt. Kurz: eine klasse Wohnung um individuell Urlaub in einer familiären Atmosphere zu machen.

Großartig!

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen auf der Avocadoplantage von Ted und Cris verbracht und uns erholt wie schon lange nicht! Die Holzhütten sind sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, super sauber, perfekt ausgestattet und bieten viel Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Ted, der Besitzer hat sich fürsorglich um uns gekümmert, uns mit reifen Avocados versorgt und hatte viele Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden sicher wiederkommen!

Wundervoll

Die Hütten liegen auf einer Avocado-Plantage in El Rincón. Auf dem sehr ruhigen Grundstück gibt es vier Unterkünfte - drei Holzhütten und ein Apartment aus Steinwänden. Die drei Holzhütten sind recht nah beieinander, aber durch Avocadobäume getrennt, so dass die Privatsphäre gewahrt bleibt. Das Cottage Bougainville ist sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und ausgestattet u.a. mit Backofen, großem Tiefkühlfach, Waschmaschine, Handtüchern für den Strand und sogar einem Bügeleisen. Die Atmosphäre in Mitten von Avocadobäumen ist sehr entspannend, das Abendessen auf der Terrasse ein Genuss. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen großen Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein. Nach einer Woche wurde die Hütte gereinigt; die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher wurden getauscht. Das Cottage Bougainville verdient zweifellos 5 Sterne, einen sechsten Stern erhält der Vermieter für seine Gastfreundschaft. Ted ist außerordentlich hilfsbereit und hat viele Tipps parat - auch für regnerische Tage. Offenbar ist es Ted ein wichtiges Anliegen, dass seine Gäste einen angenehmen Urlaub verbringen und sich auf seinem Grundstück wohlfühlen. Das ist ihm bei uns gelungen!

Wunderschönes und gemütliches Ferienhaus!

Gleich bei meinem ersten Besuch auf Teneriffa habe ich die ideale Unterkunft für mich gefunden. Inmitten einer kleinen Avocado-Plantage (ohne lästige Insekten) am Hang stand mir das sehr gemütlich eingerichtete und helle Ferien-Blockhaus sehr sauber und pünktlich zur Verfügung. Es herrscht ein wenig Shabby-Chic-Atmosphäre, gleichzeitig ist alles an Utensilien und Geräten vorhanden, um sich ohne Einschränkungen selbst zu versorgen (bis auf - wie vorher gewusst - der Geschirrspüler). Es herrscht idyllische Ruhe in der Plantage. Andererseits sind die nächsten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Lidl) in nur wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Küste ist in gut 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders möchte ich allerdings den sehr fürsorglichen und sympathischen Vermieter erwähnen. Mit viel Feingefühl und in der richtigen Dosis betreut Ted seine Gäste und beantwortet jede Frage bzw. erfüllt jede kleine Bitte sofort und mit spürbarer Freude und Gastfreundlichkeit. Mit dem Wetter hatte ich die gesamte Woche Glück (trocken und stets 20 bis 22 Grad). Im Januar hätte es durchaus auch anders kommen können... Ich freue mich schon sehr auf meinen nächsten Urlaub auf Teds und Cristinas Plantage!

An oasis of calm and green

On a very busy island this was a wonderful base to come home to. Own space and privacy outside and everything we needed inside. The cottage was well designed, spotlessly clean, nothing broken and bright, modern and pretty . Ted was a lovely host, so helpful and friendly but also respected our privacy. Great location for the north, near Puerto. and the motorway but also easy to drive to the amazing mountains

Es war einfach sehr schön!

Das gemütliche Haus liegt ganz wunderbar ruhig in einer Plantage mit viel Grün rundherum. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, klein aber sehr nett. Ted hat uns herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. So nahe ein gutes Restaurant zu finden, hat uns gut gefallen. Ebenso der Strand, der fußläufig gut zu schaffen ist - nicht aber in 15 Minuten ;-) Das gut durchdachte kleine Holzhaus, die Umgebung und Ted haben dazu geführt, dass wir eine perfekte Woche hatten. Wir können nur 5 Sterne vergeben. Danke!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time underneath the avocado trees. The little house is well equipped with everything we needed, it is tastefully furnished and offered peace and quite for a great vacation. Ted, the owner, took well care of us and was helpful in many ways. We can highly recommend staying at one of the places at Villa Juanita.

Besser als jedes Hotel

Die Unterkunft von Ted war wunderschön, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, sehr sauber und in einer idyllischen Lage! Man hatte dort alles was man brauchte und man fühlte sich schnell heimisch. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiter empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall bei Ted wieder Gäste werden. Ted selber war ein perfekter Gastgeber mit einem Großen Obstkorb und einer Flasche Wein als Begrüßung. Er war sehr hilfsbereit und gab uns viele Tips die uns super halfen. Er war sehr offen uns gegenüber und hatte stets ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Wir bedanken uns für die schönen Tage und freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen.

FANTASTIC

It was very nice time. This cottage is perfect, clean and comfortable. Great location for relaxation and as a base to explore Tenerife. The host is incredibly nice and helpful. I sincerely recommend.

Secluded and peaceful location

A very pleasant and peaceful place to stay on a busy island. A great restaurant at the end of the road near the beach. Owner very helpful and facilities with the apartment were very good. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to friends and family.

Great holidays

We had a perfect vacation at Ted's property. It was probably the best accomodation we had in the last years. We so enjoyed spending time in our lovely cottage. Being in the middle of the nature is absolutely refreshing and relaxing, although we were just a 5 minute drive from Puerto de la Cruz. Everything was quite close, shopping, hiking in the Teide National Park, beach and the highway. We definitely come back.

Beautiful cottage in green paradise

Loved the Cottage and the lush greenery surrounding it. Many thanks to Ted and Cristina, who made us feel very much at home. The Cottage is nicely decorated, all the necessary equipment is provided, it was even cleaned two times during our stay with new linen and towels. We experienced two small technical Problems which where immediately solved by Ted. Many thanks for contibuting to our very nice Holiday!

Tolle Gastgeber und tolle Anlage

Wir durften 14 Tage Gäste von Cris und Ted sein. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Bei Problemen Fragen wurde sofort geholfen. Das Häuschen war super sauber und die Dusche hat funktioniert, was auf der Insel nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit irgendwann wieder.

Perfekter Urlaub!!!

Wir haben uns in der liebevoll eingerichteten und tadellos ausgestatteten Hütte sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter ist total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für uns eine perfekte Alternative zum Urlaub im Hotel und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Simple and stunning

If you're looking for somewhere off the beaten track, to relax, read your book, and enjoy peace and tranquility away from the crowds, look no further. The property is clean, spacious, well equipped and extremely quiet. It's delightful sitting out on the deck with your breakfast, surrounded by avocado trees. You will need a car as there's only a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We found the property so nice, we didn't want to go out much in the evenings so catered for ourselves, easily done with a good selection of supermarkets within a few minutes drive. We wouldn't hesitate to return and will do so one day in the future!

une location de rêve dans une plantation d'avocats

La qualité de la location correspond tout à fait au descriptif . C'est une prestation de qualité tant au niveau de l'équipement qu'au niveau de la propreté des lieux. L'accueil est irréprochable et Bernard est très attentionné aux attentes de ses hôtes. C'est un lieu calme, reposant tout en étant bien situé pour découvrir l'île . Nous avons passé de superbes vacances en août 2015 et ainsi avons décidé d'y revenir en août 2016.Nous reviendrons probablement d'ici quelques temps. Encore merci à Bernard, Cristina et Victoria.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, abseits vom Touristenrummel.Ruhig, sauber, sehr netter Eigentümer.

Sehr schönes kleines Ferienhaus auf einer Avocado Plantage.Total ruhig, ab vom Tourismusrummel, man fühlt sich fast wie im Paradies.Mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten im Zentrum von Puerto de la Cruz. Zu Fuss ca. 45 Minuten. Auto ist ein Muss. Morgens kräht der Hahn vom Nachbarn. Teddy der Eigentümer total nett und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert
