Secluded farmstay with pool and fireplace...the Guesthouse at Sunny Ridge Farm

Secluded country charm in Lancaster County near HersheyPark attractions, the guest suite is one of two rentals available on the farm. Minutes from Susquehanna River Trail, Elizabethtown College, and historic Marietta. About 25 minutes to Spooky Nook Sports and Harrisburg Airport, and a half hour to Hershey, Harrisburg, York, downtown Lancaster, Sight and Sound, and Amish Country. Suite has private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette and pantry, gas fireplace, private bathroom w/shower, wifi, and SmartTV,

In-ground pool, grill, and fire pit available for your use. Adjoining powder room has claw foot soaking tub.

*The guest suite is separate from but attached to the main house via a common area. Please know you might hear some crowing and other animal noises in the early morning hours!

**Rentals permitted up to three weeks at a time, per zoning regulations. Longer rentals must have at least one day vacancy every 21 days.

***Queen bed sleeps two adults. We are glad to add one child to the reservation if your family feels you'll comfortably fit. Children older than two are an extra $10/night; use of (single) air mattress is a flat rate of $15.

We are approximately 30 minutes give or take to Chocolate World and HersheyPark, Hershey Med Center, Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg, York County, and the heart of Amish Country. Harrisburg International Airport is just 22 minutes away, and Elizabethtown College is 12 minutes from us. Nissley Vineyards is two miles down the road.

Very quiet location on a nice farmette. We truly relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Loved the goats, cows and chickens. Would definitely stay here again for sure.

The cottage is well maintained and provides a relaxing and welcoming environment. The host does an excellent job ensuring that you are fully satisfied with your stay. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.

The parking was all the way down a corn field and in my opinion that was so cool. But I live on a farm myself, so I am used to quiet and I loved it!The bathroom was very tiny, luckily I just lost 40lbs because I don’t think I would have fit in that space otherwise. The bedroom and kitchen were perfect, so I still give it 5 stars for a great stay. The cats were so sweet, and loved all the farm animals. I would definitely come back again:)

The property was gorgeous. The accommodations were very quaint and comfortable. The host and hostess were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The animals and the pool were a huge added bonus. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had a 2-night stay in the guest house on this secluded farm. The house was very clean, the host, Emily, was exceptionally kind and attentive to making our stay comfortable, there was ample parking and storage for our bicycles. There was a fireplace; however, since we were there in the summer we used the AC. The pool was a welcoming and relaxing place to unwind after our drive. Emily provided us with farm fresh eggs which we enjoyed for breakfast and she gave recommendations for things to do in the area which were very nice. The friendly farm animals were an extra bonus and two kittens amused us on our day of arrival. We would definitely stay here again and perhaps a bit longer next time.

We were in town for a nearby wedding and decided to stay at this lovely property. Very quaint and cute, the hosts were amazing, and everything was very well kept. We enjoyed walking the property and visiting the animals, and getting to feed them animal crackers was a nice touch. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and although we were not there a lot due to visiting family and attending the wedding, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Would recommend to others in an instant.

We had a relaxing, wonderful time amongst the beautifully landscaped yard outside our doorstep of the cozy and comfortable cottage. Emily and her family were wonderful hosts and thought of everything..down to fresh eggs in the fridge! The animals were fun to watch and the Longhorns majestic and magical! We had a fire in the fire pit and relaxed amongst the star one evening. We explored the area and found a great place to get a burger in Bainbridge-Gigi’s. We will be back…wondering what it will look like in the fall with the foliage! Thank you for a restful stay—it was good to rejuvenate!

The perfect weekend getaway for a city dweller such as myself. Beautiful, remote, clean, and within driving distance to a lot of cool towns. My 8 year old son and I agreed, the best part of our stay was the farm animals and Emily’s generosity and kindness. We will be returning for sure!

Emily and her family were most welcoming and accommodating. Their guest house is so cozy and you have complete privacy. Plus the view is spectacular! Absolutely everything you'll need, including fresh eggs from their farm, was readily available. You can see that Emily was very attentive to every detail when decorating the house. She'll even leave you seeds and crackers so you can feed their animals, which are very tame and love the attention.I would recommend Sunny Ridge Farm to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing stay at a welcoming and beautiful family farm in Lancaster County.

We had an absolutely lovely time relaxing on these gorgeous grounds and spending time with all the friendly animals. Emily was incredibly responsive and kind. We came here for peace and relaxation while still being close to amazing restaurants and other activities. If you enjoy antiquing, wow— there was so much to see. We cannot wait to return.
