Temporary hurricane housing

We have been staying here during the rebuilding processof our home due to hurricane damage. Couldn't have picked a better place. Clean, comfortable & cozy.Convenient location.

Hurricane recovery accommodations

My wife and I have been staying here while our house gets repaired due to damage from Hurricane Milton. Very comfortable and home like. A rare gem. River view and central location are a plus.

Hurricane housing

We have been staying here while our home is repaired due to hurricane damage. Very comfy & cozy. Fully equipped, has everything we need. New foam mattress is very comfortable.

Cute place

Very clean location. Neighborhood is starting to get revamped so it may look a little scetchy coming in but the actual property is in a nice area. Bed was not very comfortable but other than that it was a nice stay. Reminded me of a small cabin on a river type feel.

Marianne & Ed were very responsive. Very comfortable accomodations for a couple. Only complaint was dishes and silverware were put away dirty. Had to wash everything we used.

Perfect getaway!

The place was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a lovely view from the patio. It was perfect for us to have a few days of quiet as well as be in close proximity to a lot of activities and restaurants. Really enjoyed the stay!

Relaxing, peaceful, great location

Helpful and friendly hosts, clean and well equipped. Great location near Florida Ave, with breweries, good restaurants, and hipster stuff. River view deck makes for pleasant evenings and morning coffee. Many nice small touches. Comfy bed, big towels, good shower. Complete kitchen gear. Comfy livingroom. Would return.

Perfect Retreat

Seminole Heights was the perfect place for our short stay in Tampa! Not only was it comfy and quaint, it was extremely clean! Ed's directions and check-in instructions were super helpful, too! We will definitely stay here if we are ever back in the Tampa area!

The best of the best!

After staying at several VRBO properties we can say that this one was without question the best. Property was immaculate and had a tremendous view of the river. Hosts Ed and Marianne could not have been more helpful and friendly! Their suggestions for restaurants were spot on.

A hidden gem that is a comfortable, private retreat

This homey little apartment is perfect for a serene getaway for a couple or single that love sitting on a deck watching the river go by and looking out for birds, manatees, and alligators. Driving down the main drag, you would never know this private, safe little neighborhood on the river exists. Very clean, and Ed and Marianne are superhosts! Friendly, responsive, and can direct you to anything you are interested in exploring in Tampa. And the zoo is practically around the corner!

A marvelous time on Hillsborough River

We had a wonderful stay perched above the river. Our hosts were over-the-top. Mystified by the TV? Host Ed will be right up. Might we extend two days? Host Marianne reworked cleaning and such so that it could happen. We loved sitting on the deck with my brother who lives nearby. Highway access was totally doable. We hope to be back!

Our first Vrbo and it was great!

This was our first Vrbo experience, so we weren’t sure what to expect. This was so much better than staying at a hotel! It was like staying at a friend’s house. It was quiet and private and the location was a perfect distance from where we spent our days. We liked that it is just buffered enough from Florida Ave. and still close enough to Bo’s for ice cream, Wa Wa for morning coffee, and Krispy Kreme for when they had freshly made donuts. Would happily stay again!

What a wonderful, clean and peaceful place to spend a few days away. This home was close to everything I needed in and around Tampa! The home was so cozy, the bed was incredible and it had all the amenities I have grown to love in a VRBO.

Great Stay

Apartment was very clean and had everything you would need, nice Riverview from the deck. Owners were prompt and responsive. Gave great instructions on how to unlock and lock the door. A welcome binder with some helpful info about the area including restaurants. Would definitely book again

Home base

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve stayed at Ed & Marianne’s place. My husband is usually with me but I traveled solo this time - to help our daughter move into a new apartment in Tampa (she attends UTampa). Love the peace and quiet yet quick access to the highway of this location. I also appreciate the little things the hosts do to make your stay comfortable- coffee, water, extra toiletries. It comes in handy when you arrive late at night and don’t have time to hit the stores before they close. I’m sure I’ll be back again! Until then …
