Welcome to Denver, NC (Denver of the East). This is a great home for those that need to spread out while visiting family or who want to vacation at Lake Norman without the on-water prices. Boat Launch is a mile away. Explore everything on Lake Norman or head over to Charlotte for the day. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. The neighbors will wave as you drive by.

This private, one-story 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home is your perfect relaxing retreat. The house sits on a very quiet road. The entire house can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. Read more about each space and included amenities below:

Please note: The garage is used by the owner for storage. The property operates off of well water.

Guests will be sent detailed check-in instructions 3 days prior to your arrival date. Access code will be provided for self check-in.

Great Neighborhood for Walking. Street has a dead end so no through traffic.

We are dog-friendly (no cats though, sorry). If you would like to bring your dog, you will pay a $75 non-refundable pet fee. We will charge you an additional cleaning fee if we find extra messes left behind after you check out.

Pet Fee: $75.00

Unauthorized Pets $250.00 plus any damages or additional cleaning costs incurred.

Noise Complaints/Complaint: potential warning issued or, if necessary, eviction with no refund and a charge of up to $1,000.00

Check-in: 3:00 PM - Anytime (Self check-in with smart lock)
Checkout: 11:00 AM Late checkout available for $50 if available to 3:00pm

General Rules:
No Smoking or Vaping – This includes tobacco, marijuana, and e-cigarettes inside the home. A cleaning fee of $500 minimum will be charged for any violations and possible eviction.
No Parties or Events – Gatherings beyond the number of booked guests are not allowed. Any unauthorized events may result in immediate cancellation without a refund. Parties in Unit or Common Areas up to $2,000 fine plus any damage to the property
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM – Please respect our neighbors by keeping noise levels down, especially at night.

Pets:
Dogs are welcome! (No cats allowed) – A nonrefundable $75 pet fee applies per stay.
Pets are NOT allowed on furniture or bedding. Any excessive pet hair, dirt, or damage found on furniture or bedding will result in additional cleaning fees.
Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved.
Please clean up after your pet inside and outside the property.
If dog waste is found in the yard after checkout, a $50 cleanup fee will be charged.
Pets should not be left unattended for long periods unless crated. Any damage caused by pets is the guest’s responsibility.
Unauthorized pets will be charged at $250 plus any associated cleaning or damage fees.

Guest & Visitor Policy:
Maximum occupancy: 6 guests.
No unregistered guests or visitors beyond those included in the booking.

Housekeeping & Cleanliness:
Please wash dishes and leave the home in a generally tidy condition upon checkout.
Trash day is Monday. If possible, please roll the trash bin to the street on Sunday night, as pickup happens early in the morning.
Trash should be disposed of in the designated bins before departure.
If anything breaks or is damaged, kindly notify us immediately.
Excessive cleaning: $150 per hour for additional cleaning

Parking:
Off-street and on-street parking are available.
There is no HOA, so trailers and work trucks may be parked on the grass next to the road.
Please do not park directly in the yard or on landscaped areas.

Lockbox & Access:
There is a lockbox on the front door and an additional lockbox on the property.
If the smart lock batteries wear out or you lock yourself out, please contact the host, and we will provide you with the lockbox code.

Water & Septic System:
The home is on a septic system – Please only flush toilet paper. Do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, or anything else, as it could cause plumbing issues.
The home is also on a well water system.
Water pressure may fluctuate, especially if multiple fixtures are in use at the same time.
Water may have a natural mineral taste due to the well system.
In freezing temperatures, please leave one faucet dripping overnight to prevent pipes from freezing.

Additional Policies:
No illegal activities are permitted on the property, including drug use and underage drinking.
No parties in unit or common areas: Up to $2000 fine plus any damage to the property

We are world travelers that love meeting people and experiencing new cultures, customs & foods. As frequent travelers, and parents of two young boys and a daughter, we never found hotels ideal for our needs as they often lacked the local character we were looking for and rarely provided space families need. We loved staying at Short Term Rentals but unfortunately had some unpleasant experience due to hosts that didn't take pride in their homes and the experience they provided.

As entrepreneurs, we decided to solve the problem ourselves which is why we started hosting ourselves.

Keeping true to our backgrounds, our home is inclusive of all guests no matter race or background. In fact, we encourage diversity and many of the properties that we operate are purposefully in true and authentic neighborhoods that feature lots of diversity and character. It truly is the best way to experience a city.

All of our units allow for self check-in and are professionally cleaned, provide free WiFi, toiletries and premium sheets/linens to ensure that guests have a comfortable experience. Guests will enjoy a worry-free stay while also being immersed in the authentic culture of the cities and neighborhoods they are visiting through our carefully selected and decorated spaces. We have also partnered with local service providers and restaurants to provide our guests with discounts, offers, services and recommendations which only locals are typically privileged to.

We live by a simple motto: 'Treat Others How You Wish To Be Treated' and that is the core value we abide by. We want our guests to experience a city how we as travelers want to experience.
