Regarding the security deposit, the timing of refunds is fully managed by Vrbo and your bank’s processing systems. Unfortunately, we have no control over this timeline, but Vrbo’s communication to guests typically notes a 10–14 day processing period. Had we known there was a delay, we would have gladly contacted Vrbo support on your behalf to help expedite clarification. We’re also very sorry to hear you experienced difficulty with the hot water during your stay. We did reach out and provided guidance on how to adjust the shower temperature, and it seemed at the time that the issue had been resolved. Since then, both guests before and after your stay (as well as ourselves when we stayed a few nights later) have found the system working normally. That said, we completely understand how unfamiliar setups can be confusing in a new environment, and we’ll make sure to include clearer instructions in our welcome materials going forward. We truly appreciate your kind comments about the cleanliness and location, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us again.
