You asked for firewood which we brought we out. You then complained about bathroom we said we would address it and gave you back your cleaning fee. You asked about propane for grill we explained back up tank was in the basement. You then complained about a backed up toilet. I drove 100 miles to a toilet that worked fine. You said you seen a mouse and found some dead ants on the floor behind the tv. You threatened to blackmail me if you didn't get a full refund. On Thursday at 817pm your message.."Thank you for being so on top of things. We have had a great vacation so far." I refuse to be blackmailed.

What we don't provide in luxury we try and provide tranquility, basic necessities wifi, satellite, seperate tv up and down, washer, dryer, 5 seperate beds and two fire pits and full kitchen. However no mints on our pillows. We are not resort experience where you have to deal with others or try and find an unoccupied firepit or chair/lounger. Or deal w/ crazy people everywhere. Thx. Dan.

The trailer next door is in the process of being moved. The lady that bought it is in the process of building a 500K home. Sorry you had to see it that way. You are correct above the gas fireplace by the chimney is a minor leak. We have a stone mason coming this week. Sorry for dust on the headboards and end tables. I would love to really express how I feel. But I won't. We are a seasonal rental. We dont' have 20-30 additional rooms to cover everything. Poor reviews like this destroy our buisness. I am going to sell soon. I'm tired of dealing with folks like you. If I white gloved every place I stayed at my reviews might look like yours. You are incorrect. If you looked the drain plug was in the boat on a rope. Thank you for letting us know you broke our oars. We would have gladly brought another one out. The security camera is there for you and us. Thank you for turning it backwards so it offered no security for either of us. I did NOT get one email, message or phone call. If you would have contacted me I would have addressed any issues you had. I didn't offer your family a review earlier because of how you left our place. Thank you for your consideration too.

While we are concerned that your stay was less then perfect we do try and be as accommodating as possible. We wash towels after each use so any mildew smell is questionable. There maybe some cobwebs and dust in places that we don't clean after each rental. We try and do our best to make sure the common places are clean. We do appreciate the 3 star rating from your family. A 5 star rating is the best. So a 3 from someone that isn't use to a cabin in our area is truly a blessing to us. Our lake like all other lakes in the state is 4-5 ft. high then in the past. Our beach is gone and the water is up to our stairwell steps. We are sorry this hampered your vacation. We do have two other fire pits to accomodate vacationers. We do check dishes upon each departure however we dont' empty the cabinetts completely. We tried to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We spoke and I went out to address the issues that were mentioned. The new issues you brought up were never discussed. We sorry we didn't address all your issues.

Your family wanted you to have some down time on your birthday. We are grateful we could offer you that. It was a very special gift. The fish caught were an added bonus.
