Relaxing Beach Vaca

We had a wonderful time relaxing by the beach. The casita had everything you need including access to the beach for a few days of fun in the sun. Location is quiet and not too far from town when you desire a little interaction with the local community.

Awesome!

This property is fantastic! Great location just outside of the busy town on an absolutely beautiful beach. The property owners are super nice and very helpful. Excellent accommodation with plenty of room for two with a very nice patio for sitting out and watching a sunrise or sunset. Highly recommend the Casita by the Sea - we would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the peaceful solitude, relaxation and long beach walks...most beautiful beach ever. The casita is clean, well equipped and comfortable. Lots of privacy and Maria, Gina and Robert are very friendly and helpful. Hoping to return next year!

Definitely Going Back ASAP

Adorable little rental on an amazingly beautiful and natural beach. The whole family welcomed us with open arms and we really felt like we were just visiting old friends while we were there. Being able to just walk out of the casita onto our own patio and just two steps down to the very private beach was luxurious. Definitely recommend for a couple or small family.

Perfect location And beautiful beach

We have been visiting Puerto Penasco for many years. This is the best beach yet with no rocks!! Maria is a very warm and charming person, the place was very clean and bed is very comfortable. perfect for me

I've been going to Rocky Point for almost 50 yrs. Playa Encanto didn't have even one house on it. You could drive on the beach and camp on the beach. (be right by the water) I am glad that you can't do that anymore, on any of the main beaches, keeps things much better for the environment. This place was almost perfect for me. Wake up, make coffee, take 25 steps and I'm on the beach. No crowds, most early mornings no one on the beach. Photos on Vrbo are spot on, exactly as pictured. No issues of any kind.

The sofa that was provided for sitting was a very torn up. Had no proper pillows. It was a sleeper sofa and when you sat down your back sides slid to the bottom metal bar on the bed. Extremely uncomfortable. I would have appreciated a broom and dust pan to help keep the sand out that we tracked in. If those were corrected we would stay again.

Felt like Home!

We have stayed in Rocky Point several times before, but this was by far our best stay. Maria, Gina and Robert were all very welcoming and treated us like we were long time family friends. The Casita itself was clean, bright and super functional. A few things that really stood out to us were: 1) 3 Fans - one over the bed and two in the living area. For the size of the space, this was a nice perk. 2) Two entrances - one out the courtyard and one out to the beachside patio. 3) Shower large enough for two adults. 4) Hidden storage. 5) Amazing pillows. 6) THE VIEW - you can see the beach from the Casita windows. The courtyard is wonderful to walk through. Nice calming feel. The lights at night (in the courtyard and on the patio) helped us find our way back and around on several nights. The patio shade and seating is also a nice perk. This Casita is truly beachfront and very private. We were also able to bring our dogs which made for an excellent family vacation. We will stay here again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just what these stressed out people needed!

This was the most amazing setting for a de-stress week. The hosts, Maria, Gina and Robert were gracious and the hospitality was unmatched. Spending New Year's with this crew will be an experience never forgotten. The casita is perfect, the pictures accurate, but fail to present the total picture. Imagine waking up, brewing a cup of coffee, and settling on a beach chair and watching the tide come in or go out. Bliss! In the evening, fire up the grill, and watch the sunset as a great steak from the butcher in town and shrimp from the fish market cook to perfection. Toast the sunset and thank the universe for another great day. The beach was beautiful, clean and sparsely occupied. It was so wonderful to walk the beach and not be bothered with vendors or ATV's buzzing by. There was no aspect of this property, and property owners, that let us down. Thank you again to Marie, Gina and Robert. You made this trip for us and we are forever grateful. We will be back!

Avoid

The house , the neighborhood , all fine. The Hostess not accommodating , not ethical and not truthful . She just wants money . When we discussed a delayed arrival about a month early prior to check in , she expressed relief as there was a broken window in our unit and she said it could not be repaired by our original check in date. Within 48 hours of arrival Heather became very sick , consulted with her Doctor and after a week of still not recovered, it was advised to leave by her doctor. We chose to leave out of abundance of caution for her health . We only stayed a total of 9 Nights out of a prepaid stay of 32 nights and Marie flatly disagreed to any compensation. She has a sign posted in the unit offering direct 2 night min stays OFF of VRBO that require only a cash payment with a small Venmo deposit. Clearly, willing in those situations to circumvent the standard we were harshly held to in her VRBO listing that she says is not possible to provide ANY part of a pricing adjustment no matter why. So we had to leave and even though our unit was not ready on our original arrival date, we received nothing at all no partial or any consideration. The bright spot was Daughter in law , Gina , who was compassionate , understanding and helpful ensuring messages were received by the Hostess that we had sent and Marie ignored . Gina was surprised by Marie failing to give any compensation but she had no ability herself to help us further. That is all handled by Marie who refused.

Wonderful!

I've been going to Rocky point for over 50 years. Playa encanto is the best beach there for me. Casino by the sea is a cute little place reasonably priced. The host is wonderful and the view out the windows and on the back. Patios is marvelous 10 steps from inside to the beach. I love this place

Great place

Casita by the sea is a nice little gem tucked away beach front in playa Encanto. The owners are on site and will help you with anything you need. They also have a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch, i highly recommend. You will love the beach and the kick back vibe.
