Take a look at beautiful Cedar Lodge on Lake Weir!

Situated on almost 2 acres, Cedar Lodge on Lake Weir offers perhaps the best views of Lake Weir you will find. In addition to that, If PRIVACY is high on your list of priorities, then this is your place! The lodge is approximately 2200 sq feet. and will easily accomodate 8 guests. The main living area is very open with fabulous views of Lake Weir. The well equiped kitchen is visually arranged and ready for your tasty creations. The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and has a king sized bed with bathroom. Upstairs is a roomy loft with 4 single beds and 1 king sized bed with privacy curtains around it. The loft has a half bath. Adjoined to the house by a breezeway is an air conditioned / heated bathhouse with a full bathroom and 2 changing rooms. There is a 3rd shower with hot water outside. Out back you will find a huge deck along with your own private beach and dock. Daily rates for weekly rentals are discounted 10% and monthly rentals 20%.

Weekend getaway

This is our annual girls weekend trip and our 3rd stay at the property. As always, we loved our stay and look forward to coming back again. The owner is very welcoming and extremely communicative. We’ve stayed in many houses, but this one of our favorites!

Love this lake and this house

We have stayed here numerous times and we absolutely love it. Great house for a group and great lake access. Thomas is very easy to deal with and great at communicating with his guests.

Birthday Weekend!

Beautiful home with everything you need for a great stay. We rented a pontoon boat to cruise the lake and visit Gator Joe’s restaurant and to join other boaters at the point. We also brought our Jet skis and having the beach and boat dock very convenient to tie up at night. The rear porch has such a beautiful water view for sitting out and enjoying the sunrises and sunsets.

Home away from home

We have stayed here a few years now and as always we had a great time. The house is great and in a great location. Can't recommend it enough.

Lake cabin

Very nice place to stay. This was the second time we have stayed here 4 years apart. We enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

Summer memories

We have come here For a few years, it never disappoints we always have a great time. The kids absolutely love fishing off of the dock. They caught catfish and bass this time. Home is always very clean and well-maintained Wonderful memories were made

Lake Weir Grad Party

Very nice place ... had a great time . One suggestion though... there is a tiny step off the back deck that is way too small and kind of a trip hazard..It wasn't a big deal for our crew but they may want to address it before someone falls and sues. We would definitely stay there again

Beautiful Vacation

This was an annual trip that our family had been making for years and we are thrilled that we made the choice to try this new property! It was absolutely beautiful and we made so many lovely memories, I can't wait to come back again next year. God willing we will stay even longer then, because this house and land is stunning and worth every second and penny spent. Thanks again!

Great little spot

Everything was as described and even better. Dock was beautiful, kitchen was totally stocked (even had some spices for use) and the location was perfect. We have family in Ocala, so this was just 30 minutes from downtown, about 20 minutes from Silver Springs for kayaking with the manatees, and not too far from the highway. Communication was great, place was easy to access, and would definitely stay there again.

Weekend family trip

We enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. The property was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of toys for the lake. The view was beautiful! We look forward to staying here again.

great house - great spot

Stayed there with my wife, our three kids, and their respective boy/girl friends; 8 people in total. Kids ages ranges from 17 - 20. THE HOUSE was great... the kids were all upstairs and they loved it... just far enough away from us. The dining room table was set for us when we arrived, which was really nice, the family room was very accommodating, the kitchen was great, useful, and we did a fair amount of cooking. THE YARD is awesome! we hung out outside, grilled, hung on the beach, and used the dock. we brought our 21' boat and it was all wonderful. There is ample room for the boat in the doc, and for the boat/trailer in the driveway. *one word of caution, make sure you have a cover for your boat as the trees there throw a lot of leaves & pollen. THE LOCATION/TOWN is fun and convenient. Gas and Pizza right across the street, Gator Joes is fun, and Eatons (across the lake is great). The Boat Ramp in town is very close [the ramp is $8. Plenty of parking, easy ramps. The weekend we were there the water was surprising ruff which I think is uncharacteristic for the area]. ACTIVITIES: we hiked Juniper Springs, did 4 hours Kayaking in Silver Springs, and hit a few bars in downtown Ocala one night. ...really a great trip, and the house made A great home base. Excellent communication with the property owner too. really a 10 outta 10 weekend.

Great Place to Stay

For the first time my wife and I went south for a month. Cedar Lodge on Lake Weir was a wonderful place for us! Very peaceful, private and right on the water. We had a great time and highly recommend this rental. We hope to come back and stay again!

AN AMAZING GET AWAY

Wow words can’t describe how much fun our friends and family had on this vacation! Thomas goes above and beyond with taking care of this house in all of its beauty and the property, you and your family will not regret booking here! This place has everything you need to stay in for the weekend and relax it’s a place I would call a home away from home! I had my baby shower here and it was everything I dreamed of, this place will forever be in my memories with my nieces and nephews! Do yourself a favor and book the trip already your family has been needing- thank you again Thomas for everything we appreciate all your acts of kindness to make this place special for us!

One of my favorite places

This was my third stay at this property and it was just as wonderful as always. It has become one of our favorite places to go. The house is beautiful, well appointed and there is something so special about it. The serenity of the lake and and the gorgeous views can’t be beat. It is somewhere I will keep returning to.

We keep coming back here!

Our whole family loves this location. The house is beautiful with many great features and amenities. The private beach area is huge and well maintained with soft white sand. The lake it pretty shallow until you get to the dock, its about knee height or little higher. Great with little ones. Gives them lots of room to play in the water. Without being to worried. Water level at dock is deep enough for boats and other water toys too. The house has big windows that look at the lake to watch the sunrise from inside or a comfy back porch with lots of seating and a gas fire pit. There is a luxury detached outhouse that has 4 separate rooms one for toilet, one shower and two changing rooms. Everyone loves this and is probably one of our favorite features of the house. The owner is very communicative and friendly. If ever needed anything or had questions he was quick to respond. We can’t wait to come back again.
