Guests will walk up the elegant spiral staircase for a stay in the Dogwood Room. The Dogwood Room is a romantic luxury King sized room that comes equipped with an ensuite bathroom and a magnificent claw-foot, soaking bathtub. Wake up to the delicious smell of a home cooked breakfast. Spend the day exploring and experiencing all Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest. Head to our favorite local restaurant, Rhapsody Restaurant, to wine and dine. Come back to enjoy a relaxing night where you can unwind and soothe tired muscles in the warm Jacuzzi or spend the night soaking in the claw-foot bathtub. Perfect place to stay for a short getaway. Close to downtown Nelsonville--walkable to the main square. It was clean and charming. Staff who came in to make breakfast were hospitable and made a good breakfast.

Beautiful B&B

The Dogwood suite was exactly as pictured and absolutely beautiful. The shower didn’t work as expected, but the claw foot tub works perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Room was fine. Had a problem with the shower and it was quickly fixed. Restaurants within walking distance. About 30 minutes to Hocking Hills trails.

Very convenient location to food, drink and entertainment. Also, pretty decent breakfast next day. My 4 star overall rating is based on the shower. It’s a very low flow shower and made showering interesting. In the end we fared just fine and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Stay and Great Location

Enjoyed our stay at this Historic B&B we had the whole place to ourselves the first night. The location was perfect for us to go and explore the Hocking Hills area and was within walking distance to many of the main square amenities. The clawfoot tub was perfect after our 12 Mile hike and the bed was comfy.

Property was fine, yet not the most advantageous as far as distance from Hocking Hills. Another (family?) showed up that at the Hyde House who were under the impression that they had rented the whole house. They even tried the door to our room.

The room was spacious and very clean. The instructions given at check in were detailed and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet. We loved the furnishings throughout the house. I would stay there again.

Great stay for the price!

The house is huge and clean. Room was plenty big for two. Staff was friendly and breakfast was accommodating to diet restrictions. Only issue was the hot tub was not operable or clean for but the price was fair. Overall 4 stars would come back

Beautiful woodland setting with birds and deer. The house wonderfully decorated, comfortable and totally stocked with kitchen, bath, laundry essentials. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend

A comfortable historic home from 1850s. Had a good sleep. The AC is cool. Check-in could beimproved.

Straight forward to rent through the VRBO app. Check-in instructions could be shared in an email the day prior for ease.
