A private garden paradise in a beautiful, park-like setting just a few minutes walk from historic downtown Silverton. Spoil yourself in this picturesque light-filled studio cottage and enjoy the multiple outdoor living areas-from the comfy couch under the covered front porch next to a warming fireplace table to the wisteria-draped pergola bench swing. Maybe a glass of wine by the wood-burning fireplace listening to a burbling waterfall or just watching the hummingbirds and wandering through the jasmine, dahlias and roses. Your stay includes continental breakfast fixings, fruit, snacks and beverages as well as seasonal you-pick raspberries, strawberries and tomatoes. Cruiser bikes and a summer-time private pool top off your experience in this charming, romantic tiny house.

Kurt and Kathryn are excellent hosts. The cottage is gorgeous, the garden is amazing, the amenities are over the top. We will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful Garden cottage with pool. There were fresh strawberries and blackberries for picking, and I got to enjoy my morning coffee by the lovely water feature. Such thoughtful snack picks including fresh fruit, muffins and granola bars. They thought of everything! 5 gold stars!

This was a magical place! Probably the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in! The host has thought of EVERY detail, and the gardens surrounding the cottage are magnificent! The snacks and fresh treats were an added bonus! The cottage is adorable, very clean and comfortable. Not to mention, the cottage is a super easy and quick walk to downtown Silverton, which is also adorable. A must stay!

We absolutely loved our stay with Kathryn and Kurt. Their property is truly magical, and the cottage is one of the most thoughtfully appointed vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. It felt like they had anticipated everything you could possibly need, from forgotten toiletries to snacks, cozy blankets for the outdoor sofa, and all the little touches that make it easy to settle in and relax.The property itself is wonderful for slowing down. We spent time by the pool, letting our 3-year-old run around the grassy area, and opening a nice bottle of wine at the cottage in the evening.Silverton was also such a pleasant surprise. The cottage is an easy stroll into town for breakfast or dinner, and for a small town, there are a great selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, and a brewery. It was also a perfect home base for exploring the area. We visited Silver Falls State Park, the Enchanted Forest, and the Gilbert House Children’s Museum in Salem.More than anything, this is the kind of place that makes it easy to leave your cares at home and simply enjoy being there. We look forward to our next visit!

An amazing place and amazing host. Great location for a quiet getaway. Definitely the cleanest place we have stayed at. Everything you need is right there, even some nice welcome goodies. We look forward to visiting again in the spring/summer when the garden and grounds are in full bloom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay that this wonderful cottage! The interior is immaculate and well appointed with everything one would need. The grounds are stunning and we would love to see it in full bloom someday! Kathy and Kurt obviously love creating this magical space as well as sharing their story. We have already decided to book a return trip next year!

The gardens and outdoor spaces are really beyond incredible. Kathryn and Kurt are also wonderful hosts, and just all around sweet people. Great stay! Just 2 blocks from all the shops and restaurants.

Owners were friendly and gracious! Cottage was perfect, very clean, owners thought of everything you would need! Pretty much just bring cloths and you’re good to go! If you have a chance to stay there, I highly recommend! Such a warm environment! Five stars all the way! Going back in the spring for a longer stay!!

This was our 6th time at this wonderful getaway surrounded by beautiful gardens! We've stayed at the Silverton cottage Late spring, Mid summer and fall and they all have been excellent respites with close proximity to great hikes. The host (Kathryn) does an amazing job at making the property a consistently restful and beautiful place to hide away for a few days.

Wonderful getaway

Our 3rd time, first time in summer and it is such a wonderful garden cottage! The pool was great too and as usual the studio was well stocked, clean and relaxing (a real respite).
