The house was great and as advertised, right on the water. Plenty of space for all of us and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly be back again if the opportunity was provided.

Sylvia has a beautiful home and she was extremely helpful, explaining how best to accommodate my parents - both in their 90s. They - and the rest of our family members - had a wonderful weekend. The weather was bad the first day so we really appreciated the comfortable setting indoors and the river views. The bedrooms were spacious and the well equipped and stocked kitchen very easy for meal preparation.As soon as the air cleared, we spent most of our time outdoors, kayaking, sitting on the deck at the river or under the beautiful crape myrtle tree enjoying the breeze and shade, and the younger generation played on the lawn.A great place - we look forward to returning!

Amazing property that is surprisingly close to everything, considering how secluded it feels there. Host responded promptly to inquiries, house was super spacious, and the kayaking was lots of fun. Beautiful place to just relax for a few days.

We had a great week's stay. The house was well-appointed and easily accessible for one of our party members who used a wheelchair and walker. The lake access and kayaks were a great bonus and allowed for pleasant evenings on the Potomac.

Excellent Family Vacation Spot

Great Family Getaway

This property offered the perfect spot for everyone from grandparents to the grandkids. Interior was spacious and had a terrific water view from the dining and living rooms where we spent most of the long weekend. The check in process was easy and convenient, house was clean and host was very responsive.

Relaxing vacation

My family and I enjoyed our long weekend stay. The property is neat, clean, spacious and has a beautiful view of the Potomac River. Very easy process for check in and check out. I recommend!

Perfect location

The house and the yard were beautiful! Our group loved dinners on the deck with the beautiful view. The water is very accessible from the yard and the kayaks were great. Look forward to returning in the future.
